Private flat clearing on the mountain ridge with bush, mountain and water views. Only one camp site on our 81 acres. Bush walking tracks. Dogs welcome! Plenty of friendly wildlife including birds, wedgetail eagles, kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, goannas, bandicoots, betongs, dingos and red deer. Two kayaks and red claw pots available for guests to use in Somerset Dam. Water access 2 mins away via prior arrangement through Camp Somerset. Or public day areas, The Spit and O'Sheas crossing around 10mins away. One part of the gravel driveway is steep, so a vehicle with some clearance is advised. ***All campers need to be self sufficient with toilet and shower. Dump point in nearby town.*** (Or portaloo available to hire via extras when you book) Fire pit available and fire wood available for a $20 fee with your booking request. A pile will be delivered to your camp site, which is more than enough for 1 or 2 nights.Hilltop views see property description. Water can be seen through the trees. Flat grassy area. Beautiful camping spot and lovely hosts. The surrounding areas are gorgeous also. However, we weren't able to swim anywhere as no dogs are allowed at any swimming areas. Lovely views from thr camp-site of the hills and the dam.

Amazing property, Bebe was a wonderful host and checked in when it started storming. Very peaceful, lovely spot to set up camp and our dog enjoyed having a little bit of freedom around the site. We will be back for sure!

Poppy’s Camp was a beautiful stay just off Somerset beautiful views all round Bebe was very accomodating and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed Cannot wait to come back and have another stay soon!

My partner and I really enjoyed camping here. The campground was very nice and clean, and so convenient - only 10 mins from the spit. The views were pretty and it was a quiet, relaxing spot. Thank you for having us :)

Great spot to get away from it all. Very peaceful with beautiful views on both sides. The load of firewood was a descent size too. We felt very privileged to be able to watch the sunset with a bottle of bubbly from the balcony of the new house under construction, what an amazing view. Can't wait to go back.

An amazing place, very private and secluded. Deer in the morning, Wallabies all around and good views of the lake from up at the house and the eastern rangers from the campsite Bebe is amazing as well, made me feel welcomed and when the deer were near the caravan in the morning she text me to let me know so I could see. One of the best hipcamps I’ve stayed at!!

Top spot, literally! A bit steep up the last bit of the gravel road, but a lovely secluded spot almost at the top of the hill. Firewood bundle was good value. Highly recommended.

Beautiful camp-site and owners, love that you feel totally private and surrounded by peaceful nature. Views over Somerset dam are spectacular from up the hill! Will be back for sure 😊

We loved our visit and the opportunity to camp at a private site with no neighbouring campers. It is in a quiet and peaceful location with lovely elevated views but does come with a steep access track. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.

Awesome communication with host,had no dramas at all. Very secluded and relaxing only disappointment was packing up and leaving. Got the firewood bundle which was very generous. Thankyou to our host we will return.

Thanks Bebe, a great host. A perfect camping spot for our ‘doing nothing’ few days away. Lovely views, toasty campfire, and three very happy little old dogs having a holiday too. Would definitely live to return in the future.
