Private flat clearing on the mountain ridge with bush, mountain and water views. Only one camp site on our 81 acres. Bush walking tracks. Dogs welcome! Plenty of friendly wildlife including birds, wedgetail eagles, kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, goannas, bandicoots, betongs, dingos and red deer. Two kayaks and red claw pots available for guests to use in Somerset Dam. Water access 2 mins away via prior arrangement through Camp Somerset. Or public day areas, The Spit and O'Sheas crossing around 10mins away. One part of the gravel driveway is steep, so a vehicle with some clearance is advised. ***All campers need to be self sufficient with toilet and shower. Dump point in nearby town.*** (Or portaloo available to hire via extras when you book) Fire pit available and fire wood available for a $20 fee with your booking request. A pile will be delivered to your camp site, which is more than enough for 1 or 2 nights.Hilltop views see property description. Water can be seen through the trees. Flat grassy area. We loved our stay here, such a lovely private spot with plenty of room to spread out. Our dog loved the space and had a great time exploring the bush.

What a magical spot. Views no matter which way you look. So peaceful, so much wildlife to see and hear. We had the most wonderful stay. The owners are so welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend this site, you will not be disappointed!

Private spacious camp ground which is well maintained including a lovely stone fire pit. Especially great site for tents. The dogs could run around off leash and they had a fantastic time. Beautiful views of the surrounding bush, hills and Lake Wivenhoe. Bebe was excellent to liaise with and all communications were prompt. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven Bebe!

What a beautiful property, Even though it rained on and off alot we really enjoyed the serenity of this hipcamp. I saw red dear that was the highlight. Reccomend if towing a caravan to place 4wd on and diflock to get up the gravel hill to the camp 100%. The ground was slightly muddy after the rains so definitely need a mat down. But wouldn't stop us going again. Thank you for being so lovely on arrival thanks for having us🦋

We had a lovely weekend away at Bebe’s property. Bebe is an excellent communicator, and the firewood was great! I highly recommend, if you are camping at Bebe’s, pay for the firewood when you book, you won’t regret it!

Awesome site! Very spacious and private, with a lovely view, and extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts! We saw wild red deer and some wallabies, caught some massive red claw in the crab pots provided, and high quality firewood 😁 Would definitely stay here again!

It was so lovely to get away and spend a few nights at Bebe's camp spot with beautiful views. Was easy to find and on arrival Bebe came out to meet us and my 2 dogs. Bebe is a awesome host and explained everything thoroughly and you get a little booklet as well for things to do with a detailed map in the book. Camping on my own I felt very safe on the property. It was beautiful to go and explore around the lake. The camp spot is very pieaceful and quiet and slept very well in my tent. Thank you Bebe was lovely to meet you And thank you for getting me some soap that I forgot to bring! 😊

Highly recommend this camp! The property and area is stunning, amazing views of rolling mountains and the dam in the distance, massive campsite and a lovely camp fire area with big rocks to sit on and big cactus! Bebe and family were so accomodating and lovely, amazing experience all round. My puppy loved it too! We will definitely be back :)

Really great spot for privacy. Just you and the bush. Perched on top of a hill. Great views. Recommend 4wd if towing a van. Some steep gravel climbs Bebe was great with local information and very welcoming. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet away from the chaos of New years in town. If you want access to the dam, it’s a 10min drive up to the day area. Servo there is closed on Tuesdays.

First time using Hipcamp and this was an excellent experience! The hosts were lovely, easy directions to the side and it's close to activities on the lake. The site was quiet and had good views to the surrounding hills. Saw some local wildlife and had a small fire in a pit as well.

Such a lovely place peace quiet not far from Somerset dam for a swim to cool off Bebe was an awesome host friendly and informative.The site was clean and well cared for and I would recommend.

We stayed in our swag with our doggos. Bebe was a lovely host, very friendly and great communication. Dog friendly site, great walks and an amazing view up the top! Had some wallabies pass through camp, a large roo hanging nearby and heard the deer. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful camping spot and lovely hosts. The surrounding areas are gorgeous also. However, we weren't able to swim anywhere as no dogs are allowed at any swimming areas. Lovely views from thr camp-site of the hills and the dam.

Amazing property, Bebe was a wonderful host and checked in when it started storming. Very peaceful, lovely spot to set up camp and our dog enjoyed having a little bit of freedom around the site. We will be back for sure!
