Spent the weekend there with friends, great directions from Alastair all the way in. Felt so remote, woke up to birds every morning and wallaby's. Well worth the trek out will defiently be coming back.

Site was well cleared, fire pits were set up well. Very private being only 1 site, was amazing to just listen to silence. We had an amazing time, the kids got to let their imaginations run wild. Directions to site were very clear.

The dogs and I loved our time at Dundas Valley Retreat. We spent 3 nights on a flat grassy site overlooking the valley and it was very peaceful, relaxing and the best part was the complete solitude! I could have the dogs off lead to run around and explore their surroundings and we went for regular walks half way up and down the road leading into the camp. Half way was about a 20 minute return walk. And of course we had to stop at the dam each time so dogs could get their swims in. The bird life was beautiful - I’m sure I saw pale headed rosellas and lorikeets plus heard the whip bird and a flock of cockatoos in the distance., amongst a variety of other birds. If I could replicate that peace and solitude again, I’ll certainly be back. Highly recommend if you want to be engulfed in nature.

Beautiful space and view to myself. The bird songs were brilliant. Drop toilets were clean and easily accessible. 2WD access. Alastair was a lovely host too - came down to make sure I had water and essentials. Definitely recommend this spot!

Camp one at Dundas was a small flat area perfect for tent, car with awning and still flat room for fire and room to move. Bushy surrounds made for tranquility and some wildlife and the feeling of complete escape from civilisation. Alistair was a great host and provided support without intrusion. Thanks.

A nice out of the way camping site where the dog and I could chill out and grill steaks on the fire. Met some kangaruccis in the dawn light snd took some good walks around the property.
Easy enough to travel to Fernvale (found their Sunday market), to Esk, or head over Mt Glorious to Samford.

We camped at Dundas Valley Rereat over the Easter long weekend and were the only people here in this beautiful, secluded bush campsite. We truly felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, what a fantastic spot to get away from it all for self sufficient campers. Alastair and Marlene are friendly, down-to-earth hosts with great communication. We can't wait to come back!
