Property: A 695-acre council registered tourist back-to-basic bush camping and 4WD park located in the picturesque Scenic Rim region just over an hour drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Perfect for 4WD enthusiasts, bushwalkers, mountain bikers, and anyone that just wants to get back to nature.
Amenities: We encourage self-sufficient bush camping. There are chemical toilets near the campsites. Hot showers and a flushing toilet if required are back at the main car park. showers 7am to 5pm as there is no night driving
We do not charge for children under 5 years of age. Please do not add this age-group to your booking. Children's rate is charged from 5 year to 16 years. You will need to adjust your booking as Hipcamp adult rate charge starts from 12 years old.
Generators are permitted to recharge batteries but not permitted to be on constantly. Please advises if required for medical reasons.
We are pet friendly however must comply with "dogs in Public Laws" be on leads at all times. We are a glass beer bottle free park. We do sell bags of wood and ice

* Vehicles must stay on the designated road and cannot drive down to the boat ramp.
* After launching, vehicles and trailers must be parked back up the hill within the Pointro boundary.
* Marquees and similar structures must be at least 6 metres from the water’s edge.
* Boats may be moored during the day but must be removed overnight.
Breaches may result in fines from SEQ Water, which will be passed on to the responsible party.

- NO travelling in the in the back of utes.

Family groups love the site for the babbling but shallow child friendly Stockyard Creek - perfect for paddling and playing in.
The Kingfisher and Platypus Campsites have larger waterholes than the Stockyard Creek Campsite, are great for fishing and swimming as you wander the 2km of river frontage . They both have easy access off the main Kerry Road.
Friends love our campsites for catch ups, the bird watching, small historical or nature walks around the property and of course the cool waterholes in the Albert River.
Other groups use Kerry Valley Secret as a base camp for hiking adventures in the wilderness end of Lamington National Park.
Bring your togs and floaties to cool down in the waterhole on the Albert River.
Don't forget the marshmallows to roast on the fire at night (firewood provided).
Binoculars and boots are a must for bird watching and exploring our walking tracks through the forest.
All campsites have basic toilet facilities (a portaloo) and firepit (with a free bag of kindling provided). Stockyard Creek Campsite also includes a picnic table.
Exclusivity is a feature of all our campsite and for that reason we only take a flat rate booking. Once you have booked no one else will be able to camp at the site, it is all yours.

White Wallaby Farm is certified organic growing Garlic, Ginger, Turmeric plus other seasonal crops. Our camping area is separated from the growing areas by the road, the camping area is approximately 2.5 acres, is mostly bush and borders Hopping Dicks Creek. Actual camping site is about 1/2 acre and is a mix of gravel & grass. Farm walks can be taken by negotiation, fees apply ( Morning/afternoon tea included). Available produce can be purchased. Mobile phone and Wifi service is usually very poor at the campsite.
Please do not cross over the creek, this is not our property & the neighbours have very strict biosecurity controls in place. We ask that you respect this situation.
Caravans up to 6 mtrs long are acceptable (1 area only ) other areas suit camper trailers, tents etc. Facilities are basic, there is a bush toilet and a camp kitchen with gas stove and sink. No showers. No power. Tank water on site is pumped from the creek and must be boiled/filtered before use. Entry to the grounds is opposite Number 325, and has a sign on the fence indicating Number 326. NOTE, 325 is not our property, do not enter this driveway or use their bins. Our private driveway is 50 mtrs further along the road and has the number 327 on the gate post. There are rubbish and recycle bins for your use in the campgrounds. ( BUT PLEASE TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME) This is an area with significant wildlife and for this reason we cannot allow cats or dogs under any circumstances, IF, by chance you hit an animal or see an injured one please report it to us immediately. Please drive carefully. The area is very beautiful with lovely drives, bike rides and walks. Murwillumbah Rail Trail is 30 mins drive away. Local cafes are at Crystal Creek and Tyalgum 15 mins away

Directions, From the south travel to Murwillumbah then either via Chillingham or Tyalgum. From the north take the Nerang to Murwillumbah rd and turn right at Chillingham. This is a very pretty drive and slightly quicker than via the M1.

Our sites are completely isolated from town, with views and not visible from the road. Sites are set among nearly 100 acres of a mix of open land and rainforest. Multiple natural springs exist on the property and a few small spring-fed waterholes are scattered down the cascading hills. Friendly ducks, geese, fish, horses and an abundance of native wildlife live here. This location is home to several endangered species due to being one of the last isolated pockets of rainforest in the area.
Sites are part of The Bush Clinic where we specialise in designing and making natural creams, soaps, teas, dodorants and other products as well as running regular Meditation courses and topics such as Energy, Frequency, Grounding and Advanced Organic Growth techniques for those wanting to join in are formally available during your stay.
We are new to HipCamp so have limited facilities at present, but they are in progress and we have loads of space per site, comfortable, and lots to offer for those wanting to reconnect with Nature. If you know what ley-lines are - this is the right place to visit ;-)
PS if you are towing a van or camper pls remember to engage 4wd at the front gravel gate (low range 2nd is best). This helps avoid chewing the road up...

Our campground is on my family’s dairy farm that has been in the family since 1904. I’m the 4th generation on the farm and work alongside my parents and my husband operating the family business of milking cows.
The campsite is on a private area of flat ground right beside the Oxley River with views of Mt Warning.
We are excited to share our piece of paradise with others. We DO have a composting toilet but DON’T have any shower facilities.
Although the creek is very close by we advise you bring your own drinking water.
We are pleased to provide a gravelled campfire area along with a gorgeous outdoor setting that seats 8.
Our campground provides a unique private camping opportunity. Once you book whether it is for a group of one or 25 no one else can book the site. The site is not visible from the road. Perfect for a relaxing getaway that brings you close to nature and connecting with friends.

Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot!
The Stonesthrow Bush Camping sites are close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property. These sites have access to facilities - toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Some sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. THESE ARE THE ONLY SITES THAT CARAVANS CAN ACCESS.
The Stonesthrow Elevated sites are located higher up, with stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites.
Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather-dependent.
We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top.
Due to insurance considerations, no 'day visitors' are allowed unless they have an approved Hipcamp booking.
We are a Leave No Trace campground - ensure what you bring in, leaves with you.

Situated a 1/2 hour drive South of Beaudesert, following the signs to Rathdowney and turning onto Christmas Creek Road that veers to the left. 26kms along the very picturesque Christmas Creek Road and you arrive at a little bit of paradise in the Scenic Rim. So much to see and do in the area, a short drive to the Lost World Tourist Drive and Tommerups Dairy to name a few. Further along Christmas Creek Road takes you past the Christmas Creek Cafe and onto Lamington National Park and bushwalks to the Stinson Memorial Crash Site and Larapinta Falls. So much to enjoy in the Scenic Rim.

We camped with our motor home at Nobby Beach and it was a wonderful experience! The showers and bathrooms were always clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

Very nice set up for this camp site! We were with campervan and the area is decent size. A bit tight. There are spaces for tents and glamping options too. All tucked into the forest. Facilities very clean and as expected. Trails right from the site.

We were only planning on staying a couple of nights but due to circumstances beyond our control ended up being here five nights. The location is fabulous, close to so many shops, there are choices of pools, the amenities are very well maintained. It’s quiet considering the volume of patrons. We stayed in a motor home site then a cabin. We swam, we used the BBQ’s, we ate in the bistro, used the laundry all of which were great but the outstanding thing for us was the staff- particularly reception. They accommodated our tricky situation with ease and we appreciated it immensely. Thank you very much.

STUNNING views on the drive up and BEAUTIFUL ancient rainforest! We saw a huge python on our hike stretched across the path.
It had just eaten something large judging from the bulge in its body. Amazing to see but a bit scary to get past.
The bathrooms and showers were clean with hot water.

Beautiful camp site. A bit tight to get our 17.6 Jayco All-Terrain poptop in but managed okay. We were on site 54 the best for bigger vans I think. Beautiful views and stacks of walks to do. We were with our young kids so only did some of the shorter ones. But they were still spectacular. Camp is very clean, well maintained, teahouse is great. Highly recommend!

Loved camping here, we stayed on a campervan site and the amenities and facilities at Nobby's Beach Holiday Village we great, clean and tidy, neat and the caravan park was kept in very good condition. Highly recommend it and its in a very good location. We could easily walk across to the road to the beach and local cafes and shops.

Lamington National Park is one of the most beautiful natural places we have visited in Australia. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by lush rainforest, fresh mountain air, incredible walking tracks, and peaceful scenery in every direction. The park feels untouched and gives you a real chance to disconnect from busy everyday life and reconnect with nature.
The walking trails are amazing and well maintained, with stunning lookouts, suspension bridges, waterfalls, and flowing creeks throughout the park. Every walk feels unique, and there is something for all fitness levels. One of the highlights was walking through the rainforest canopy and hearing nothing but birds and running water around us.
The wildlife was also unforgettable. We saw colourful native birds, pademelons, and other wildlife during our stay, which made the experience even more special. The atmosphere throughout the park is calm, relaxing, and incredibly scenic, especially early in the morning when the mist moves through the trees.
Everything within the park is well looked after while still feeling completely natural and authentic. Whether you enjoy hiking, photography, wildlife spotting, or simply relaxing in nature, Lamington National Park has something for everyone.
Overall, this was an unforgettable experience and easily one of the best national parks we have explored. The rainforest, waterfalls, wildlife, and peaceful surroundings make it a must-visit destination in Queensland. We absolutely

Scenic drive & Rainforest walk to a waterfall
Windy drive up the mountain with lovely views of the mountains, properties and bush/forest.
Amazing rainforest walk, with a waterfall viewing area. Then another lookout viewing platform showcasing the rainforest and bush lands. 4kms return (I believe) we saw a wild dog near the road, which ran into the forest shortly after parking the car.
