There is access to a portaloo. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own shower, and drinking water. Please respect the environment and take everything with you when you leave. It's also a 40 minute drive from Byron Bay, 30 minute drive from Northern Rivers beaches and southern Gold Coast beaches, a 10-minute drive to Wollumbin (Mt Warning) National Park and the historical village of Uki. Please be respectful of this special area White Wallaby Farm is certified organic growing mainly Garlic, Ginger & Turmeric. The camping area is seperated by the road & is approximately 2.5 acres, mostly bush and borders Hopping Dicks Creek. Actual camping site is about 1/2 acre and is a mix of gravel & grass. Farm walks can be taken by negotiation, fees apply ( Morning/afternoon tea included). Available produce can be purchased. Mobile phone and Wifi service is very poor at the campsite. Please do not cross over the creek, this is not our property & the neighbours have very strict biosecurity controls in place. We ask that you respect this situation. Caravans up to 6 mtrs long are acceptable (1 area only ) other areas suit camper trailers, tents etc. Facilities are basic, there is a bush toilet and a camp kitchen with gas stove and sink. No showers. No power. Tank water on site is pumped from the creek and must be boiled/filtered before use. Entry to the grounds is opposite Number 325, and has a sign on the fence indicating Number 326. NOTE, 325 is not our property, do not enter this driveway or use their bins. Our private driveway is 50 mtrs further along the road and has the number 327 on the gate post. There are rubbish and recycle bins for your use in the campgrounds. ( BUT PLEASE TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME) This is an area with significant wildlife. We cannot allow cats or dogs and fishing is not allowed under any circumstances. IF, by chance you hit an animal or see an injured one please report it to us immediately. Please drive carefully. The area is very beautiful with lovely drives, bike rides and walks. Murwillumbah Rail Trail is 30 mins drive away. Local cafes are at Crystal Creek and Tyalgum 15 mins away Firewood available $25 for 30 kg or BYO Directions, From the south travel to Murwillumbah then either via Chillingham or Tyalgum. From the north take the Nerang to Murwillumbah rd and turn right at Chillingham. This is a very pretty drive and slightly quicker than via the M1. We only accept 1 booking at a time so that you have the area to yourself.

Sites were very roomy and comfortable. Shower and toilet a bonus and we enjoyed being camped around the fire. Power was appreciated as was the assistance from Brie when we arrived. Dogs loved it.

We loved our getaway at this serene and beautiful place. Brianna was exceptionally accomodating and we enjoyed having a chat about the area and much more. So peaceful. Hooch, Brianna’s pup was a hit with our two dogs and of course us. Loved the horses and walking tracks. Awesome night sky in front of a fire. Bliss. Thanks for allowing us to stay on your magical property. Will be back!

1 night at NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort

We were only planning on staying a couple of nights but due to circumstances beyond our control ended up being here five nights. The location is fabulous, close to so many shops, there are choices of pools, the amenities are very well maintained. It’s quiet considering the volume of patrons. We stayed in a motor home site then a cabin. We swam, we used the BBQ’s, we ate in the bistro, used the laundry all of which were great but the outstanding thing for us was the staff- particularly reception. They accommodated our tricky situation with ease and we appreciated it immensely. Thank you very much.

Just a beautiful, peaceful place. Lovely walks along the creek with shaded swimming holes. Brie is a fantastic host. There to offer assistance and information but unobtrusive and respectful of guests privacy and peace. We genuinely loved our time here.

Such a beautiful, peaceful spot with great little swimming hole. Brie was very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend taking chocks if you have a van or RV as the powered sites are not level and 40mtr power cord. I will be back!

What a gem of a Hipcamp. This is a must place to stay, offering both powered and unpowered sites. Brianna was amazing explaining walks, swimming areas & general information on the village within 5 minute drive. The shower & toilet block were immaculate. The surrounding hills with view of Mt Warning were beautiful, if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the perfect spot. Thank you for a beautiful stay, will definitely be back.

I had an amazing week on James’s property. James is a great guy—very kind, very understanding, and full of knowledge. I loved spending time there, meeting people, and talking with him. The river is a real bonus. The scenery is incredible. I highly recommend this place! 🙂

Brummies Lookout

We walked the Brummies Lookout track. It was a beautiful day and well set out fire trail to follow, up until the final ascent through the bush. Spotted a Koala and adored the scenery. Views from the top were amazing.

Unfortunately, there's not much to see any more. We did the Lyrebird track, but it was only 300m long. Pretty to visit, but don't make a day trip out of it.
