Hi, last weekend, nine of us visited this place. It was a beautiful spacious place near stream. very clean toilet is also good. there are campers a lot across the stream but we had no issue at all. I strongly recommend this place
The place is amazing, the host was friendly and kept track of our arrival and departure. I’d recommend it 100%.
Our group enjoyed the weekend camping at Albert River Hideaway.
On arrival, I was little worried about the business of the public campground across the river, but the noise of the bubbling brook, and amount of space to choose from meant that we were barely aware of them. It was also a long weekend, so to be expected. We enjoyed fires and timid dips in the cool water. The hosts were accommodating and very responsive.

Albert River Hideaway
The place was clean, quiet, pretty flat, and the grass was perfectly mowed. Jasmine and her husband were friendly and easy to talk to. The little river was very cute, and we could jump in the water. Very nice stay — I highly recommend it.
The site is exactly as pictured. The most beautiful place and Jasmine and Carl did their utmost to make us comfortable. The water is easily accessible which was great. It is just the perfect little spot and I hope to return again.
Stayed down the end close to the river — nice and quiet. Good to hear the water running at night as well. The grass was lush and green too. Thanks!

We had our small group stay here over the australia day long weekend. Such a beautiful place! Large area all to ourselves, right on the Albert river, with a porta-potty and wheelie bin.
We'll definitely be returning

Fantastic campsite. Massive grassy flat area right next to the creek. Be mindful it is across the river from a public Site so lots of kids and families but honestly once the sun goes down it feels like you're on your own private river front. River was flowing well and great for swimming, too!

Place was lovely! The grass felt amazing and has been well kept! Easy access to the river. Huge space to yourself which is incredible!

We camped with a group and was great for the kids to run and have their own space! Toilet and bin was great, grass was amazing to walk on no prickles at all. Rained out first day and drained well. Loved the convince of having a camp ground across the creek for getting essentials ice etc and bird feeding everyday at 4pm! The river was fantastic for the kids to go down on tubes and to just sit in on a hot day. Only freedback was the smell that came from a chicken farm every now and then, and a heads up about the electric fence ( no signs) kids got a good kick as did I ..... Fun all the same. Will be back again for sure!!

Albert River Hideaway
My wife and I enjoyed our time at the Albert rover hideaway.
The host, Jasmine was very easy to deal with and was only too happy to make sure our stay was a good one.
The spot is right next to the river which has a rope swing and a deep area to fully enjoy the swim.
Otherwise sit back and enjoy the view of the country side and take it all in.

Lovely spot along the Albert River. Very peaceful, lots of bra birds and the sound of the babbling river. Well tended lawn. Toilet clean and convenient. Great communication from the host.

I loved the campsite! It was cleared and had heaps of space. It was close and easy access into the water. The toilet was extremely clean and the bin was a great touch! Made packing up so much easier. Would recommend!
We took 5 teenagers camping for a birthday and they had a wonderful time. They have even asked when we could go again they even braved the chilly temperature of the river. Absolutely beautiful space, easy to get to, peaceful and lovely views by the river. Saw lots of birds and just had a fantastic weekend.

Albert River Hideaway
We had a great time at Albert River Hideaway. We were a group of 10 with some younger kids who loved having the place to themselves. They were able to ride bikes and play without annoying other campers which made it more relaxing for us parents. The campsite itself was very clean and the toilet was immaculate which pleased some. Jasmine was great to deal with and quick with information or to reply to messages. The only small concern was some barb wire fencing near the river. There’s not a lot of it and when we realized it was easy to divert the younger kids away from it.
We will definitely be coming back.

We loved camping here. Whilst there are other campers across the river, you still feel very secluded and don't get bothered by any noise. The kids loved playing in the creek.
Would definitely recommend for a small group of families to camp that want somewhere secluded and to themselves.
We’ve been to a lot of campsite but this one is over the top! Very clean portaloo, perfect for big groups, amazing host! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!

Great weekend getaway, river was flowing and made for a nice swim after a day exploring the area.
The public camping spot opposite the rive was not an issue and noise was kept to a minimum, so it was isolated enough.
Really good spot close to the river, just a stone's throw from Brisbane and just what where have been looking for. Cheers

Communication was amazing, our stay was amazing, clean loo and was grateful for an onsite bin. We were hesitant about the caravan park just across the creek, but it was quiet, and we loved watching the kids enjoy back-to-basics fun while sliding into the creek. Cows came to visit daily and so close to Brisbane. We will be back; thank you for your hospitality.

beautiful campsite, plenty of room here with lush lawn a toilet and rubbish bin. Right on the creek. You are opposite another large campsite but is very private. Host was very responsive and made sure I had everything I needed. Ideal for a big group or small. would recommend

Riverfront close to Brisbane

Riverfront location was an absolute winner for us ! It was refreshing , clean and easy to get down to . Only an hours drive out from Brisbane made it that much more appealing to us . We had the whole space to ourselves so no camping on top of us from others was very nice ,but there is a campground opposite the river so you will hear some noise from them being a shared river . But the gentle river rapids were lovely to fall asleep to at night ! Very much recommend a stay here whether it be short or long!! We enjoyed our time there and will definitely be making it a place to visit hopefully in the near future .
