Pictures of this place do not do justice! Beautiful the views of the rolling hills, mountains, and the lake. Breathtaking! The Hipcamp itself is clean and well kept, quiet, private, and convenient (REAL toilet and hot shower!). Our host is lovely and friendly, responsive and helpful. We’re definitely going back here again!

Good campsite with plenty of space. Well maintained with very clean amenities. Much of campsite is on gentle slope. Bar area provides good shade and rain protection and plenty of seating.
Caretaker residence is very close to campsite but doesn’t intrude.

Another amazing trip. Was so quiet. There is only 2 spots and amazing hot shower and toilet.
Was breezy which is great. Nice and grassy as well.
We love it here and will be back. Perfect if your looking for a real retreat. Great views. Dam access and amazing caretaker.

Lovely spot, friendly owner and caretaker. Good for groups and the amenities are lovely. Caretaker lives onsite at the campground so not strictly private but they are not intrusive

Nice scenic drive to the property that has beautiful views of the mountains and Somerset dam. Good for a restful break where you can watch the wildlife or take a short walk to the water. Firepit area and seating adds a nice ambience to the experience. Hot shower and flush toilets also appreciated. And it's dog friendly!

Great spot and lovely people but with the function area fridge compressor kicking in every hour it’s very hard to get a good nights sleep.
Otherwise lovely spot.

It far exceeded our expectations! Beautiful views, well looked after grounds, super clean ammenities and wonderful hosts. We will definitely be booking a longer stay next trip.

We recently stayed for 1 night at the Firepit area. The camp was easy to locate and the shower and toilet area was tidy. There is a residing caretaker onsite just behind the camp areas who we met and who was friendly, informative and made us feel at home. It really is a lovely spot and is well taken care of. BUT.. when the fridge in the communal area kicks in it is SOOOO loud. It kept us awake most of the night unfortunately. Hope this gets fixed before we visit again as this was the only downside for us.

Camping at Lakeview Estate is fantastic. The location and views are great. The camp ground itself is well maintained and the amenities clean.
There is enough distance between the two sites to feel like you’re not on top of each other.
Our two dogs enjoyed going down to the lake for a sniff and a swim.
Annette was super friendly and helpful.
We will be back.

Gorgeous property with stunning lake views, I loved the fireplace site and the feeling of peace and tranquillity was just what I needed. There is plenty of distance between both sites and the amenities were spotless. Highly recommend and I will be booking again on the future!

Booked the entire site (fire pit plus grassy) for a group of 3 and 2 dogs, and what a great spot to get away from it all. Onsite caretaker Christine was wonderful, super helpful and also respected our privacy. Access to the dam close by which was great for a cool down. Great view over the dam with a hilly backdrop. Recommend booking both sites to have total privacy. Will be back. Thanks for a lovely getaway 😊

Great campsite with amazing views and clean facilities. Our group booked both sites so very private. Note other reviews re caretakers residence, but did not impact our stay at all - Christine was super helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

The views were stunning, and the owner and caretaker were so friendly and welcoming. It was super easy to get to the dam, and everything was spotlessly clean. Definitely planning to return!

The site is absolutely spectacular with amazing panoramic views! The Christmas lights and decorations were so lovely and tastefully done it was just so warm and inviting quiet and serene.
Excellent clean amenities indoor flushing toilets, shower with hot water and even a washing machine! It also has a lovely undercover bar area with beautiful natural timber benches and comfy chairs looking out to the mountains and lake. You can tell there has been a lot of thought and care here, not only to the land but to create such an amazing experience =)
Being surrounded by beautiful views and fruit trees and watching the happy cows pass the paddock below was just a cherry on top
We will Most Definitely be coming back with all our friends!
Cannot not recommend Annette’s enough!
