This small secluded acreage is situated within the bend of a large creek and hums with a healing energy of renewal and transformation. With views of the mountain and horses grazing, you are surrounded by some remnant and some regenerated subtropical rainforest along the creek frontage. Here nature does more than surround you; it embraces and uplifts, inviting your spirit to align with the rhythms of the Earth, in one of the world's most powerful natural healing sanctuaries. There are a couple of small private swimming holes and walking tracks along the creek where you can stop and sit for some quiet contemplation, where you'll feel natures healing forces at work. Do some forest bathing, meditation, or sit quietly by the creek where you may even spot some local platypus or other native wildlife.
We now offer a flush toilet and a Soul- nourishing private indoor shower with a large window overlooking the lush forest and volcanic rim adding nature's calm to your experience.
We offer 3 separate powered sites, NOTE: . You will need to have 2 X 20mtr power leads to hook to power though. We have room for large caravans, motorhomes . Please note, one vehicle/caravan per site. If you have multiple vehicles/caravans, you will need to book multiple sites.
Weather permitting (no rain) we also have 3 exclusive unpowered sites available in another paddock, closer to the creek. There is no power or water at these sites, and you will need to be self-contained. There is a choice of 4 sites , but only 3 can be booked at any one time.

The peace and tranquillity and spectacular scenery make this the ideal place to relax and unwind or the perfect spot to base yourself while you explore everything the Tweed Shire and the Northern Rivers Region has to offer.
On arrival you get to choose your own unpowered spot. You then set up camp. The caretaker will check you in at the spot you have chosen towards the end of the day.
Misty Mountain Campgrounds is suitable for tent campers, caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes..
PLEASE NOTE - Children aged between 3 and 15 are booked under Child Rates, Children 2 and under are Free and do not have to be booked in.
Hundred Tents Campgrounds is also available for General Camping during Easter and the Xmas break and Public Holiday Weekends.

Our campground is on my family’s dairy farm that has been in the family since 1904. I’m the 4th generation on the farm and work alongside my parents and my husband operating the family business of milking cows.
The campsite is on a private area of flat ground right beside the Oxley River with views of Mt Warning.
We are excited to share our piece of paradise with others. We DO have a composting toilet but DON’T have any shower facilities.
Although the creek is very close by we advise you bring your own drinking water.
We are pleased to provide a gravelled campfire area along with a gorgeous outdoor setting that seats 8.
Our campground provides a unique private camping opportunity. Once you book whether it is for a group of one or 25 no one else can book the site. The site is not visible from the road. Perfect for a relaxing getaway that brings you close to nature and connecting with friends.
As we are a working farm, unfortunately, we cannot allow pets.

The property is a 300 acre working farm with horses, cattle and a friendly dog named Wal. Campers are welcome to explore the many walking tracks on the property as well as the bordering national park.
Just a 800 metres from Clarrie Hall Dam, spend your days picnicking and paddling amongst the stunning scenery. The dam is stocked with Australian Bass for a fun day's fishing.
Take a 5 minute drive to Uki a township where you will find an abundance of arts and crafts, weekend markets and a host of alternative/natural therapy practitioners. You'll reach the larger town of Murwillumbah in just 15 minutes and the famous Byron Bay in under an hour.
Explore the nearby Northern Rivers Rail Trail - 24km of trail through working farms, lush rainforest, wide bridges and original train tunnels.

We are within easy reach of a number of walking tracks.
We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin
National
Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches.
Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers.
There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. Please check by prior email during the wet season for specific access requirements.
Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided, pending there are no fire restrictions. We can supply seasoned firewood at competitive rates.
Friendly pets are welcome, we also have dogs on the property.

Malabar Farm is a working Beef and Equine property situated in walking distance (600 metres to the Hotel) from the idyllic village of Uki. Steep in farming history, was originally a part of the logging district and later operated as a dairy up until early 2001. The farm nestles in to the foothills of Uki and the Twin Sister Mountains. The southern boundary is 2 klm of Tweed River. 3 permanent creeks meander through the property providing an abundance of wild life and camp sites to dream of.
The long stretch of Tweed River frontage provides for fishing (bass aplenty), and canoeing. The equine training and breeding section of the farm is to be visited by appointment most days, and for safety reasons is not commonly accessible.
Petting of small animals is an optional extra for children and beginners, can also arrange a riding lesson in one of the 2 enclosed arenas, as another optional extra cost.

Had a great stay at Dave’s place. Needed some secluded time away and his land provided exactly that. The only sound you hear is the creek bubbling along. Creek is currently pretty low but you can get submerged if you lie down. Wish I had the time to stay an extra night. Dave is also a great host. He stopped in for a chat and to check I was ok after the storm. Make sure you bring some friends and settle in for a quiet time away. Really nice having the whole place to yourselves. So rare these days.

Anna's property offers exceptional beauty and privacy, even with other campers present in a separate area. Anna's Hipcamp provides clear directions for locating our designated area. We had the opportunity to observe and interact with two calves during their feeding.

Great stay! Amenities were so clean and a very well manicured camping area with lits of romm between sites. So peaceful with only the sound of birds. Hosts were very accomodating and assisted us when we needed some help with our car 🙂

We absolutely love this camping spot. We have returned to this hidden gem a few times now it’s the most beautiful camping spot. Necia is so kind and accommodating, very quick to respond to our questions and went above and beyond to accommodate us.
We had family and friends come visit us this trip and everyone wants to book to come back and stay.
The creek is beautiful so clear and fresh we swam every day in the watering hole and our kids can endlessly play moving creek rocks around! Definitely can recommend bringing swim inflatables to relax and float in the creek.
The toilet is very clean and not smelly, fantastic for a drop toilet.
Cannot recommend this site highly enough!

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite. *Please read tick note further down!*
The location is stunning, and private with beautiful views and a real sense of peace. The zoned camping area was ideal, giving great separation from the cows and a large clean area for setup!
Communication with the hosts was excellent. It was great that firewood could be pre-arranged.
The dam was a lovely bonus, using the provided kayak was a highlight. Access does involve walking through very long grass, so a mown track to the dam would be really helpful here!
The recommendation for tick prevention was also very helpful, as there are a lot of ticks. Our dogs ended up with hundreds (not an exaggeration😢), so up-to-date tick prevention is absolutely essential for fur babies.
Overall, a beautiful, peaceful spot that we’d happily recommend and return to, with a bit of extra care needed to ensure the safety of your pets!

Beautiful property, with amazing facilities. The little bathroom and sink we were expecting, but there were other little touches that were so gratefully appreciated. The sites were all labeled with there title and also included my name.
Also rare to find was a bin at each site and the bathroom block , also very appreciated. There were supplies at the sink and a box of games

We enjoyed 2 lovely days R&R. The site was picturesque and secluded. The running creek was our lullaby. It was a bit of a scramble to get down to the creek where we lazed during the heat of the day. The amenities were rustic but adequate. Our friendly host met us on arrival.

Nice a private perfect if you want to be alone and isolated from other people. And to have a place to swim to your self is just perfect. This is the perfect camp site for sure. Cows were pretty cool too doing their cow things.
