Disappointing experience. The place is quite run-down and definitely not worth the money. The facilities are extremely basic, and the shower was poor.
On the positive side, the site is well sheltered from the rain and offers good privacy.

The Old Piggery was fabulous! The site was very private beautifully presented and had everything that we needed for our group. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming and very accommodating as we had three parties arrive at three different times. There was more than enough space for everyone to set up with enough privacy while still being able to come together in a central location and feeling communal and still have room for ball games and fisby. The added outdoor decor touches of the old truck in the bush stage really made you feel like you were in the outback. We would definitely go back whether it was our family of three or an even bigger group.

We had an amazing stay at this property and would highly recommend it. The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and informative from the start. You get the entire site to yourself, with no need to share the space with anyone other than those travelling with you, which made the stay feel very special. You can tell the owners have put a lot of thought and effort into the space.
The property is absolutely picturesque and stunning—very private and secluded, yet still felt safe and peaceful. Having access to a toilet and shower was perfect, giving us the comfort of modern amenities while still enjoying the outdoors.
Hearing the kookaburras at dusk was an absolute highlight and really added to the magic of the experience. We would definitely stay again

This was very over priced. I’ve stayed at places that were $20 a night that were far better and actually have maintained facilities as advertised, this was nearly $300 for 2 nights for 2 people .. and left A-LOT to be desired for that price. Sure it was private enough but on a cow farm you are absolutely plagued by flies,
There was No hot water, the water and lights cut off after a couple of minutes, the dog that others complained about did hang around at night…
The solar set up is a bunch of open cables / wires and battery a few centimetres right of the toilet.. I wouldn’t recommend using as a male! That was SO dodgy!! Communication was very lacking, I couldn’t get a straight answer nor response most of the time.
I think this would be acceptable for $20 a night per person tops $70+ is honestly not acceptable for what it is and the headache of being there. Not a happy camper at all.

Such a wonderful place to camp all to yourself! It was nice and peaceful having the area to ourselves which was the selling point for booking this place and having the convenience of a shower and toilet just made it even better! Would definitely camp here again.

We stayed there for 1 night but honestly it was the perfect spot for long camping trips. So peaceful and beautiful 😍 very spacious as well. Best part was the fact that it was completely private 👏🏻

Peaceful, quiet spot with good facilities. Having the whole place to yourself is great, and an on-site shelter plus flushing toilet and hot shower make it easy to set up for those travelling light. Good road access too, no trouble getting the 2WD hatchback in.

Lovely place to camp. The area was full of wildlife and there is a nice sheltered area for eating. The facilities were functioning and clean, but rustic. Would definately stay here again. Host was polite and thoughtful.

This was the perfect place for our belated Night Out For Nature! Great grassy spot for kids and adults, beautifully maintained, plenty of flat spots for tents and vans. Good shelter and bathroom. Thanks for sharing your place Cathy 😊

The Old Piggery campsite is in a very beautiful location. The handover and handling of the pitch was very uncomplicated and friendly. The peace and quiet, the wild animals and domestic animals in the vicinity and directly on the site are really fantastic. Sanitary and shower facilities are available, but very simple and functional. The price would have led one to expect better.

Place was great for a little get away trip. only 30 drive there and still very secluded. Made good use of the bbq and campfire. Will be back again!

Great place close to Sunshine Coast. Private site away from anyone else with nice flushing toilet.
Nicely maintained grassy paddock, very peaceful.
Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to be away from any other campers.

As much as it was private and spacious we can't give a good review due to the dog on the property biting one of us and getting on the table and going through our stuff and biting hole in our dishdrops and knocking down stuff that we left while we were out. Had to get owner down a few times which wasn't a problem for them. Once to get lights to work and then to get a bit of warm water for the shower but didn't work again next time we tried it. Summer would be best time to go as wind blows through floor boards under shower and through window opening. Owners were nice though but need to have dog tied up as dangerous

Very private and peaceful. Very handy to have a working toilet and running water. Shower was cold but I’m not complaining at all. Lots of wildlife, kangaroos, birds, etc. The host, Cathy, was super accommodating. Very happy, will be back soon.

I had a large group join for a weekend away and there was plenty of space for us to sprawl out and park our cars. Nice and private, good shower, toilet, covered communal area with a big table. The hosts were lovely. I’ll have to come back sometime.

There was plenty of flat space on the paddock so it was good for the roof top tent. The showers and toilets worked great. It was good that there were lights on the undercover area for the night. Overall really great.

Unfortunately we decided not to stay the night soon after we arrived.
There are power lines on two sides of the camping area, was still very swampy from all the rain with lots of mosquitoes and just wasn’t as nice as the photos portrayed it to be.
Other people may like it but it wasn’t for us.
