Awesome, quiet little spot with some great yarns with Carlo next to the fire.
Great waking up in the shade of the trees in the morning.
Close location to everything you would want to see around the Sunshine Coast.

I loved camping at Ilkley Heights on Carlos property. It was a nice place to relax and Carlo helped us out with firewood, water and took care of our rubbish. Carlo even had a beer with us around the fire. Would recommend this spot for anyone.

Nice spot!
Realistically not well suited to larger style caravan setups.
Tight turns and steep slopes.
Awesome for the camper trailer type setups.

Great spot and Carlo was very helpful. Access to this site is 4wd and track narrow in spots - so you need to be confident to set up with larger vans etc. Firepit was an asset for sure.

Carlo’s property is stunning! Nice and level area for our camper trailer and beautiful surroundings. He lit the fire pit for us and was a super friendly host. Conveniently located only 15-20mins from Mooloolaba. Definitely keen to come back :)

Thankyou Carlo for all your help! Ilkley heights is fine however, it wasn't suitable for our 24 ft caravan. Turns were too narrow and tight for us and our overhang was too long for changes in ground angles. Fine for smaller caravans and sprinter sized RV's but not for the big rigs! Thanks again Carlo!

We had a great time surrounded by beautiful trees and enjoyed our evenings by the remarkable fireplace - the best we've ever seen, stocked with wood and more chopped nearby. It was perfect for cooking our dinner and providing cozy warmth while we watched the stars.
Our hosts, Carlo and his wife, were incredibly welcoming, ensuring our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay in the designated area because our campervan is long-wheel based, but there was plenty of other room to park.
The whole place is beautifully maintained, reflecting Carlo and his wife's dedication and care. Nestled right next to their house, the location offers a perfect escape into nature and is very close to the beach, with other places to explore around.
Carlo is more than happy to chat and share great life stories; as a boat captain, he has plenty. He can also take you on a fishing trip or for a spin on his 4-wheel bike, which he kindly did for us.
Thank you so much for everything, and hopefully, we will meet again sometime in the future. 😊

Definitely no words at this camping for our short stay, specially Carlo who made it so easy, warming and enjoyable since we arrived at this place. Haven’t met a host like them.
In addition, something that surprise us, there’s lot of available firewood to burn and a huge fire pit for cooking and keeping us warm at night.

As we are new to caravanning,more level grounding for the van wouldv been more accommodating,just glad we had a 4wd to exit the driveway.
Fire pit is right next to the hosts house.
House overlooks campsite 20/30metres away.
Overall the host was very helpful and polite.
