So why not kick back and relax away from the stress of city life. Lakeview is a private property not a commercial business, Lakeview is suitable for self-sufficient campers. There are no amenities, so you need to bring or hire your own. All payments are accepted as a donation to help maintain the grounds for our extended Lakeview family. Dayboro Country Markets are on the 1st Sun of each mth. Old Petrie Town Market is open every Sun & Museum every day. Stay, rest and relax with a good book, we have a Street Library out the front. Enjoy a camp fire. Loads of bird & wild life about. Pets welcome (on leash), child friendly. You must be self sufficient. You can hire a double person swag $25per night. Fire wood $10. Due to Corona Virus bring your own Dunny if you can.

We are on 42 acres with one big dam and a small one. Mostly trees and slopes but has some flat land. Suitable for Tents and Caravan but will need 4WD to get down to dam. Plenty of wallabies on the property, we have one cow and some ducks. Mount Mee is a good walking spot for those who would like to seek some activities. 20 mins to north lakes shopping 30 mins to Redcliffe 45 mins Australia Zoo. 1 hour maybe less to Caloundra . No electricity or water available. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome. Pets are allowed on leash.

The knight Ranch is a small hobby farm with beautiful flat grassy fields, Established trees providing plenty of shade. Wildlife a plenty. With resident animals tawny frog mouth and ducks. The camp/caravan site is isolated out in the rear paddock. The most pristine area on the property. As soon as you arrive you will begin to relax. Easy access off wallace road and easy pull through to the back paddock. Open grassy field with established trees overlooking a small dam and bushland. The perfect place to set up, chuck a roast on and crack a cold one. Campfire locations a plenty so find the one the best suits your mood. Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. You can camp anywhere you like. Some areas are sandy and difficult to re-establish so please stick to the firm grass. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead as we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it but you can have a contained fire anywhere there is already a burnt patch. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Please do not chop logs or collect logs from the property.

This campsite suits self-contained campers with own toilet/shower facilities and drinking water. The Crohamhurst State Forest is located nearby for a great bike ride or perhaps you'd like to hike or sightsee at the nearby Glass House Mountains. For those after fishing and watersport adventures, the coast is just a short 30 minute drive where you will find the sparkling waters surrounding Bribie Island and local beaches.
