Riverfront Hobby Farmstay
We loved staying at Riverfront Hobby Farmstay. We travel full time & needed somewhere close to catch up with family and friends & sort out some appointments. We were there for 4 weeks. This place was so quiet and relaxing & so close to everything. The hosts are super helpful and made our time there seem like we were part of the furniture. Will definitely be back.

Exactly what we wanted and exactly as described. Nice easy spot to stay near Brisbane.
Our kids loved the chicken and geese and little okie was very friendly, Thank you for our stay:)

We enjoyed the stay especially the fresh eggs from the chicken coop
We enjoyed meeting the ducks and the sausages dogs
The highlight of the stay was definitely feeding the horses in the morning and seeing all the wildlife amazing little place lovely sunsets too

We settled in for a week-long stay, camping in tents beneath the mango trees, and absolutely loved it. The hosts were wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and great to communicate with. We especially enjoyed visits from Ockie and Arlo, the adorable sausage dogs, who added so much character to our stay.
Camping felt private and peaceful, with plenty of space for our two vehicles and two tents. Falling asleep to bird sounds and watching the nightly bat visitor swoop in to steal mangoes was a real highlight. Having access to a water tap and a GPO was a great bonus.
Being the only campers over the Christmas period made it feel extra special and incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend—such a lovely place and lovely hosts.

We would certainly recommend this farm stay. The camp spot is pretty level with nice shade trees around you. Ockie the dashhound visited daily and it’s very relaxing watching the horses and geese. To have power and potable water at a farm stay exceptional.

Although the hosts are lovely to deal with, their property didn’t meet our expectations. The “campsite” is situated in their backyard next to electric horse fences (which had been turned up since the horse escaped). Although the site was on freshly mowed grass, the rest of the property appeared overgrown and dishevelled.

Melissa went out of her way to make it a special stay for our kids who adored feeding and helping with the horses, geese and chickens.
The site was large, open and flat with heaps of space for our family.
Thanks to Melissa and Robert so being so accomodating, and for the soccer game too 😊

Our van lived here for two nights without us as we were visiting our son in Kenmore. The location was perfect, quiet and secure with water and power if needed.
Robert and Melissa are great hosts and will definitely visit here again

We absolutely loved this Hipcamp. Such beautiful welcoming hosts who know the perfect balance for running a Hipcamp. Our little ones loved just being able to enjoy their bikes riding down the hill, picking from the orchard, collecting eggs and enjoying their bikes riding beautiful geese, ducks and horses.
My children made a best friend in Ockie, who has made high standards for any doggie they meet in the future.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful land and allowing our family to have a getaway ❤️

The campsite was at the back of the property was very close to the owners Home while we had a beautiful fire during the night you could hear the motorway traffic
Very difficult to be able to come and go due to animals. The owners were very good and once advise would get the animals and lock them up.
Campsite area was a little overgrown. We had to clean animal waste before we could put down our mats.
Was a good location and close to be able to go on day trips in Brisbane but would look for a more secluded site

We loved and enjoyed to stand there for two nights. The owners where so friendly and lovely. We and the kids helped feeding the farm animals and played with the dog. Much space and very quiet. Highly recommended

Lovely little farm with horses, ducks and sausage dogs. Flat little spot to park down near some horses with power and a fire pit. The owners were sooooooo lovely and welcoming. Just a heads up that there are low hanging branches along the driveway, our aircon unit tapped a few (jayco silverlone outback).

Communication with Melissa and Robert was so clear and just wonderful. They were very understanding when our arrival time changed due to getting lost. The spot is just lovely right on the river, so close to the horses and other animals. We really enjoyed our very short stay.

A lovely area and place to stay in. The kids loved the little sausage dog!
If you’re coming from the south you can either take a ferry across (check with Moggill ferry) or do a 30min detour which has a couple of windy, steep bits.

Absolutely loved staying here with my son and family friend. It was so nice and peaceful, very private, and it was great not having other campers around us.

camp site is as described & we enjoyed our stay. Great location, close to the ferry & only a few mins to amenities. Power & water hookup very handy. The grass at campsite could have done with a mow to make staying in damp / wet conditions a little easier / more pleasant, also something to mention is that this property, as clearly stated, is a hobby farm and there’s therefore geese / duck poo on grass surrounding and at the campsite.

Hubby and I didn’t think the property looked the way it was explained on Hipcamps (e.g. “lush” and “tucked away out of site from the main house” are definitely not words we would use to describe it) but it was still a lovely stay. Very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. We were met by the host Melissa, who was lovely and welcoming!!
