Beautiful spot. Afternoon sunset over the mountains. Lush grass. Cedar creek flowing by your campsite. Good stars at night. Perfect place for a quick getaway. Hosts were great too, super friendly

We had a fantastic camping weekend at Clonakilty Farm. Our campsite by the beautiful creek was peaceful and picturesque, making it the perfect place for a relaxing weekend with our doggos. Clair and Andrew were wonderful hosts! Friendly, welcoming, and happy to share their local knowledge. We also purchased a box of their homegrown fruit and vegetables and went home with an incredible amount of fresh produce. A truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unfortunately this did not meet our expectations for the price charged.
On arrival we were greeted by a friendly host who guided us to the campsite (although we felt this was unnecessary as directions could have easily been provided instead)
To begin with we felt the check in time of 2pm was very late for a campsite and the charge of $50 for an early check in was extortionate and basically unheard of. We are seasoned campers and have never seen such a thing.
I mentioned to the host that we have a highly reactive male dog and was concerned as both of his dogs were running around off lead. He assured me that they would not run anywhere near our campsite, however about an hour later there were dogs barking on the opposite side of the creek near our campsite and sure enough both of his dogs ran right past our campsite which not only caused a huge amount of stress for us but also for our anxious, reactive dog.
I then found it hard to relax until his dogs were gone a few hours later. The owner also decided to mow for a couple of hours just as we had checked in which not only disturbed our peace, but also our privacy. We understand this is a working farm but some consideration would have been appreciated.
The female host also spent a few hours gardening on the Saturday morning which means she was looking directly at our campsite.
The campsite itself is also quite underwhelming. Views are nice but it’s overpriced and there is a lack of privacy.
We left early and won’t be back.

Great campsite with clean grounds, a relaxing atmosphere, and Clair and Andrew were so friendly. It’s in such a great location so close to Brisbane. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back

We loved our stay on this beautiful, private but very accessible campsite right on Cedar Creek. Clair and Andrew were so helpful and we found the organic farm box delicious - best bananas ever! Highly recommended

So peaceful & quiet, yet a short drive in to town if needed.
Clair was so welcoming and made us feel right at home on her gorgeous property.
The stream was divine, the sunset spectacular and the veggie box was the perfect touch.

Lovely hosts, great space, magnificent mountain views. Bonus is having the camping space to yourselves. It is near the road so you hear a bit of distant traffic, but also you are only 10 minutes drive to town. Had a great weekend.

What a special place! So close to Brisbane but yet you could be 4 hours away. Clair and Andrew are the best hosts and Cheryl the cow was supervising to make sure we were ok! Think she was laughing at us …as our first stint in a campertrailer. Could not have picked a more perfect spot. Beautiful setting! Thank you Clair for inspiring us to get back into our vege patch. Those freshly picked veges were incredible!! We will be back for sure

We loved the camp spot, lovely owners, easy access to the cedar creek pools via a quick drive, lovely little private piece of the creek.
There was the occasional reminder of civilisation from the local road or the planes overhead, but it didn’t detract from our stay though. Thanks for everything

First visit to Crystal Creek side for us and right out the gates Andrew and Clair were very welcoming and friendly, had the creek all to ourselves and even had a few horses near by our campsite. immaculate vibes and location. Will be back again. 🪵🍃🏕️

We had a great time at this beautiful spot, Clair was very welcoming. Easy check in, nice private spot close enough to the river to hear it running all day. Good for swims, would love to come back. Only minor drawback was we could hear the main road, but it was Easter so may have been busier than usual - did not ruin our time.

The campsite was overall okay, but a bit disappointing for the price. It’s located very close to the road, so you can constantly hear cars passing by, which takes away from the whole “nature” experience.
For what you pay, the facilities and setting don’t really match the cost. It’s not a bad place to stay for a night, but I wouldn’t consider it good value for money.

We loved staying at Clair’s place very quiet and peaceful. Clair and her husband very very warm and welcoming letting us walk thru their vegetable garden and farm land. The creek is a wonderful way to go relax just a short walk from the camp area.

We really enjoyed this hipcamp and would highly recommend it to other campers. It was easy to find, a short distance to Samford for shopping and eating out, the camp site is beautifully maintained, grassy, flat and close to a delightful flowing creek which is perfect for a swim with both shallow and deeper areas suitable for families. We loved that it was dog friendly, Clair was a great communicator and host. We enjoyed camp fires under the stars with wood delivered to our site and cooked delicious meals with the fruit and veggies Clair had grown on her property. Plenty of space for walks to explore the farm.

Close to Brisbane. Nice flat ground. Great scenic sunsets. A creek running past the campsite to add to the atmosphere. And very close to Samford for some eating out or groceries. Nice.

What a great location. The view were beautiful and great having a creek running right near the campsite.
Probably the best maintained property I have stayed at. The only negative was that I didn’t have enough time there.

We loved the view from our camp site and our closeness to the farm cows and horses. The choirs of cows on the property and the neighbouring property were very entertainig. The property is interesting to explore and on this visit the roses were out - stunning. The hosts Clair and Andrew made us feel like family and gave us the space and freedom to quietly soak up the atmosphere and serenity.. We are heading back for our 3rd visit in Spring to check on the cows and their new calves. The property is a great place to just 'be in the moment'.

Spectacular with a magical creek!

Our new favourite Hipcamp! We had 3 nights and could have stayed longer. Totally private - you can't see any properties from the site (and the road you see on some of the photos is for you only - no other traffic). Clair was a great host - meet us when we arrived, super friendly and gave us useful info, but otherwise left us alone. The site was flat, shady and very spacious, with spectacular views across the valley. Amazing sunsets! The creek ran alongside the site and was quiet magical. Deep enough for a dip to cool off. Lots to do in the area only a short drive away - Samford Village, Dayboro, walk at Cedar Creek Falls, or just stroll around the property (beautiful gardens!). The cows kept us amused, but were fenced so no cow dung at the campsite. Lots of birdlife as well. We had a lovely relaxing stay and will definitely return (especially being so close to home in Brisbane). Thanks Clair for sharing your beautiful part of the world!

Great trip, so easy to get to from Brisbane so perfect for a Friday getaway. Well maintained spot, was greated by the owners and then had complete privacy for the rest of the time. The nearby creek was pretty but not quite deep enough to cool off however there are many rock pools and waterfalls 5mins up the road at cedar creek. Pups had a great time too. Thank you!
