Cheriton Bush Camping
Just had my first solo camping trip at Cheriton Bush Camp, and what a lovely place!
For a solo female camper, there’s a coded gate, which made me feel quite safe. The campsite has toilets, multiple playgrounds, several walking tracks, and a dam. I even spotted a few little roos hopping away!
Most interestingly, there was a magpie couple hanging around me both day and night 😂 We were both a little scared and curious about each other.
I was also lucky that when I had trouble setting up my fire, a dad with his three girls came over and helped me. It was such a relief—not only because they helped me with the fire, but also because I realised I wasn’t the only human in the dark 😂
A pretty memorable first solo camping experience!
Great place to stay, very clean and tidy location.
Will be visiting there lots. Nice a quite midweek

What a great and convenient spot, sites were level, amenities were clean and more than suitable. I paid for the fire pit and wood and it was such a good price, highly recommend 👌

We loved the open space and the how quiet the place was thank you for a wonderful stay
Beautiful place to camp. Our two dogs loved going on an adventure through the bush for a walk. Directions were easy to follow and firewood it's supplied for a fee. We met some beautiful people there. Toilets are available and were clean and beautifully set up. Will definitely be back

A really great location and a good set up, easy to get to, lots of space, great facilities, close to everything you might need.
Only downside is you can hear trucks on nearby road quite often.

Cheriton Bush Camping
We loved this camp site. There’s some walking tracks which our family loved exploring, including our dog.
There are other sites near by. There were lots of other dogs around during our stay. But everyone was friendly and respectful. No issues when the dogs barked a bit out of excitement.
Grounds are clean and well maintained.
Samantha answered all my questions promptly.
It was fantastic. We are already planing another trip!

Nice open lay out, very tidy property with 2 flushing toilets, shared cooking area and kids play equipment, the other visitors were also respectful and nicely spaced out.

Close to Ipswich and easy to get to.
Nice and quiet. Picked up a bag of firewood for $10.
We always love staying here. It is our favourite HipCamp. It was lovely to meet you Sam, looking forward to many future bookings.

Cheriton Bush Camping
Cheriton is lovely. We stayed 4 nights. Samantha was easy to communicate with and very nice. Plenty of room to spread out. Camp kitchen has a slow combustion stove which uses little firewood and does a great job of heating you Nd cooking your meal. Padlock system to enter the gate can be quite tricky to work in the dark. Close access to Brisbane - Ipswich train from either Ipswich or Dinmore.

Another great experience! The only place I'm willing to go camping in the rain because of the great undercover area.
Absolutely awesome time our group had here. Booked the whole site for the night. Neat little shed beside campfire was used extensively due to the wet weather!

A nice, quiet beautiful bush camp. The site was roomy, perfectly level and despite it raining on/off most of the week, it wasn't even remotely muddy. I will definitely be back.

Me and my friends had one-day camping at Cheriton Bush camp, Pine mountain. We enjoyed a lot because this place has so much to provide in terms of privacy. If you are looking for more privacy and freedom to create memory with your friends and loved ones, this would be one of the best places to visit.
I and my friends are looking forward to visit this place again in the future.
