Absolute favourite hipcamp! Bryce was so kind and helpful, and the camp spot was pristine. Pup and I spent hours swimming and exploring up the creek and beyond to the pine tree plantation. Can't wait to try the other site, the extra privacy from the road and space will be perfect. Will definitely be back!

We loved our trip , stayed in Silky oak flat , it was quiet , no neighbors and the creek was flowing. The campground was well maintained with a good fireplace . Really nice to fall asleep to the sound of the creek . Lots of birds to listen too. Nice and close to Brisbane , Will return again

We had a fantastic four nights at Coal Creek Pottery. Tim & Deborah were amazing hosts and really made us and our Labrador, Horace, feel welcome, We camped in our Jpod on the hill and the views were stunning. We loved watching wild deer and the glorious sunsets. We did the pottery lesson and had so much fun and enjoyed a wickedly good cooked breakfast and coffee. We were fully self contained so didn’t need to use amenities. Can’t review without a mention of resident doggo, Alfie! He’s just living his best doggo life and was so much fun! The only disappointment was having to leave. We will be back for sure!

We offer you the choice of a standard enclosed private shower or the fun of open air showers. We also have ice for sale. We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water. During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). Caravans are not permitted due to the steep terrain. A Portaloo is located between the Ocean View 1 and 2 sites and a second Portaloo is located centrally and within walking distance to The Knoll, Upper Plateau, Valley View and Little Bunya campsites. Also please note we have 24 sites only, however some of these sites can easily fit 40 people therefore on Hipcamp it can show lots of availability when in fact that may not be the case. We are more expensive per person than other camp sites. Please note this includes hipcamp fees and charges and you are covered by hipcamp insurance. We don’t charge for pets, nor do we charge to use our 6 onsite canoes, nor do we charge extra for hot showers or rubbish removal, we haveguest wifi. Our 1km private driveway is rough but if driven to conditions a 2wd has no issues.. Most of the time space is abundant however if choosing to come on a long weekend, Easter or New Years expect it to be a lot busier than your average weekend with larger groups camping together, however still plenty of space between groups. You won’t ever have to trip over your neighbours tent ropes here. Eco friendly lakefront and near to lake front sites. Please don’t arrive expecting lakefront, our sites are all near to and Depending on group size not everyone will have lake frontage. We can never guarantee requests. We assign sites based on numbers and camping equipment. If your preferred site is not available , shoot us a message , we may have an alternative for you:) Our rules are really not rocket science, don't take things that are not yours, use the toilets instead of our bush, don't cut down trees or damage things, that includes damaging trees, don't leave anything but ash in the firepit ,make sure the fire is fully extinguished, remove your rubbish and respect and consider your fellow campers and our neighbours. Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups ( unless you would like to book out the entire property) Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush so you will feel like you are the only ones there. You are welcome to have a campfire in the provided fire pit or drum when there is no fire ban in place, however due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety. You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site. Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet. We affectionately call our property "The Rustic Resort". This is a tribute to the rusty water tanks and dilapidated animal shelters that were left behind when we moved in. Our farm was once part of a thriving rural property in the 1920's. It used to be a dairy farm and then a banana farm. We now raise goats and cattle. Our property is dog friendly to responsible dog owners, we are happy for your pups to be off lead as long as you are the one in control. We have a large farm dam that never runs dry, (NO fishing please as we use this for livestock and swimming, and the last thing we need is hooks in peoples or animals feet. ) It is wonderful for a refreshing swim, there is a ladder to make it easier to get into the dam and during the summer months there are floating noodles for your use. Feel free to bring your paddle boards and canoes. We are centrally located to explore the Glass house mountains ( 20mins), Stoney creek (15min), Rocky holes (35min), Bribie island (40 min), Woodford (10min), Mt Mee (10min), Montville, Maleny (40min) and much, much more. We are 10 minutes from Woodford and the wonderful Woodford Folk Festival. "White Ridge Farm" in Elimbah is only 20 minutes from us, and the kids will love the interactive farm experience and cuddling the baby animals. Wamuran town centre has has an IGA, a wonderful butcher, bakery, bottle shop, 24 hour servo, a rural supply shop, fish and chip shop, a new pizza place and a Thai/Indian take away that is sensational. Wamuran holds a local country market every 4th Saturday per month from 7am to midday. There is a Woodfire pizza van in town 2 out of 4 weekends, look up Deadwood Pizza Wamuran to check the dates. We love them. If you would like to stay longer but feel like you need a shower occasionally, there is a public pool in Woodford and a public pool on King Street towards Caboolture , both are about a 10/15 minute drive from us. Wamuran is less than an hour north from the city, yet you will feel like you are far away. If you are looking for a dump point around the area, www.unitywater.com has a list of available dump points with addresses. If you have any questions please drop us a message.

For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

Please respect it. * Do NOT enter neighbouring properties or throw rubbish over the fence. Cattle graze nearby and their health and safety is priority! One booking covers 4 people (no matter how many set ups/caravans/tents you have) You can pick wherever in the paddock that you'd like to set up - there are no pre allocated spots and you will be able to pick a private spot. Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees! Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. ALL other positive comments are through us direct.
