Escape to the peaceful charm of Samford Valley 🌿 Tucked away on a street with only 3 other homes, our relaxed acreage offers a private, country escape, only 2 minutes' drive from Samford Village. Set on spacious, mostly fenced land, you’ll be surrounded by nature and friendly farm life — including free range chickens, our resident ducks (with adorable ducklings visiting at certain times of year!), and a few roosters who like to greet the sunrise bright and early. 🐓 Many guests love the authentic country atmosphere, though light sleepers may want to come prepared. Campsite is alongside a small dam (unsuitable for swimming), perfect for soaking in the scenery. Families are especially welcome here. Kids will love the swing hanging from a big shady tree, as well as our outdoor toddler play equipment and toys (available on request). We also have a small kids’ library with books, puzzles, DVDs etc that little ones are free to borrow during their stay — helping them feel right at home while you relax. A short stroll takes you to a beautiful creek with a Tarzan rope swing — a favourite spot to unwind and cool off. You’re also within walking distance of a skate park and tennis courts, making this a great spot for both kids and adults. We offer one private campsite, which can also be shared between two groups if you’re travelling with family or friends (please ask!) There’s a fire pit for cozy nights under the stars, and for guests who aren’t set up with their own amenities, we provide access to a separate toilet and shower. Samford Village is just down the road and has everything you need — a fantastic park and pump track, a local pub, numerous cafes, patisserie, bakery, butcher and supermarket. There’s also a scenic walking track into the village that passes a gorgeous cattle farm and follows the creek — a beautiful way to explore the area. For an easy day trip, Ferny Grove Station is just a 12-minute drive, where you can hop on a train straight into Brisbane City. Spend the day exploring the riverfront, shopping, dining, or visiting South Bank with its lagoon, markets, parklands, and cultural attractions — a perfect mix of nature and city fun. Please note: While the property is mostly fenced, small children will need supervision, especially around the dam.

This a flat grassy site, beside the dam, suitable for small tents. Amenities including your own private toilet and shower are available, short walk (less than one minute) up the hill, next to our pool area. Water can be used from tap at the tank but power not included. The creek across the road can be accessed for fishing and swimming - it is a bit of a steep climb down, but for those who would like an easier route we can explain how to get there via a longer walking route or short walk. We will only accept one booking at a time (unless you request to book with friends/family), so you will have this space to yourself for privacy. There are a few other fairly flat, grassy spots to choose from - a little further away from toilet/shower. Once you have booked, we will mark the other sites as 'unavailable', so you have the whole area to yourself. For this reason, please let us know if you have friends/family you are travelling, planning to book another site so we can leave as available.
