Belmont Basecamp was easy access . Close to the city . It had power and water no other facilities . Nice green grass . It was at the beginning of a caravan storage yard . Some people came to pick up or drop of their vans . It was a good location for what we needed , would stay again
Easy to find and plenty of room to park your van when visiting relatives in Brisbane. Close to the M1 for easy access.
Well kept and safe property for our 1 night stay and had everything we needed. Host was welcoming but not intrusive and he advised was only a phone call away if needed. We were visiting family for a night and this set up was perfect for us. Thanks Craig

Conveniently located to our destination. Quiet even though close to the motorway. Worth the stay for a peaceful location.

Great location, close to Brisbane and surrounding suburbs.
Very close to Brisbane but nice to be not cramped into a van park.
Handy low cost base to visit. Brisbane City. We never saw the owner during our stay but luckily ran into one of the caravan owners when driving into the property (the land has around 15-20 caravans stored on site) who let us know where to pull up. There is power and water available to hook up to next to the shed out the back, there is a fire wood storage area which could do with a tidy up as it feels like a snakes dream and it's right next to your campsite. Kids were entertained as there is a large Tennis/basketball court on site as well as a tree swing. About 25mins from the city centre if you avoid the toll road, the property is under the flight path of the airport but it wasn't terribly noisy, you can hear a bit of road noise when it's quiet at night from the high which isn't far from the property either but nothing that keep us away. Overall good spot for a cheap get away to Brisbane!

Excellent location. Nice and level land. Driveway was easy to get into and had room to turn around easily to park the van up. (8 metre van)

Location is great for access to Brisbane city for short stay
Lovely setting, woke up to the sounds of kookaburras. My dog liked it also, clean lawns.

We loved how easy Belmont was to navigate with a 19ft caravan. It was close enough to Brisbane as we had a few things to do. Very nice to have power and water.

Great spot close to major shopping centre. Spots like this in Brisbane just don’t exist. Thanks Craig.
Good space out the back of the shed. Clearly generally a caravan storage space, which means the photos now make sense. Quiet, peaceful, easy to manage, very accommodating. A bit apocalyptic being in a field with lots of empty / closed up vans, but no zombies appeared, so all good
Great spot, parked in the back yard / caravan storage yard. It’s quiet, it is near the flight path and highway, however it’s not loud at night. Great space, Zeus was a good boy and Craig was a great host.

Great value with easy access to the city. Friendly host in a peaceful location
This camp is on the rear of a large property in Belmont. Close to central Brisbane and the motorways. For a camp in the city, it's quiet, without too much road noise. Power, water, sunny.... everything you need but you must be self-contained.

1. Check out time is 4pm but the owner have people arrived mid day and made them wait next to us at 11:30am. I feel made for people who waited me as I was waiting for my car to be returned from the mechanic. The owner should have corrected the timing.
2. The owner has a dog who wonder around camp (the dog is nice and friendly we have no problem with) The owner was concerned about our dog being not friendly. He should have brought this to people way before not last minutes. Should I go somewhere else last minute if my dog isn’t friendly? (Our dog is very friendly and social ) Why don’t you put your concern on the Hipcamp app so people can avoid coming if their dogs aren’t friendly?

As we had an event at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre, Craig’s place spot on. Plenty of space for our kelpie to run around. Craig was easy to deal with and made feel comfortable and welcomed. Highly recommend.

Lovely spot. Great location. Craig was welcoming and gave some tips on local activities and getting into the city. The site was quiet and peaceful while still being really accessible to everything Brisbane has to offer. Thanks so much Craig!

Very conveniently located, quiet and green. Great to see someone with a huge 2 acre back yard putting it to good use. I was the only one there (but there were lots of caravans using the space for storage, which is great to see). I will go back for sure. Craig, the host was very friendly and helpful. His black lab dog Zeus, liked my little Cavoodle. There was 15amp and 10amp power there for my campervan, and also a tap to top up my water tank. No toilet or shower facilities, but that was fine as I knew in advance and used my own onboard bathroom. Thanks Craig, well priced, and in a pretty suburb full of acreages and lovely houses.

Quiet location - not far from city centre. Close to M1 freeway, so easy to drive to this place. Good to have electricity and water.
