Exclusive private site on our 80acre WORKING* property just off the Warrego Highway at Haigslea. *(Please note as we are 1km off the highway there is subsequent highway noise, we are immune to it, but as anything, some people may notice more than others. We are a working small rural property so with that comes seasonal tractoring/trucks and an element of busy, depending on what projects are on the go! Real taste of rural life while being smack bang in the privacy and serenity of our buzzing property!) Private gate access for self check in and checkout. The large campsite is located alongside our 14 acre dam with a pontoon and dam banks to explore. The site is flat and mowed, with easy access from the road for caravans. The 'Quack shack" is home to our 12 friendly range Geese who spend their days exploring the banks or swimming on the water. The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe out on, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels. Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.) The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!) The recent addition of our feature windmill makes for gorgeous photos and country feels. The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops. We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!) **Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or our free range geese that call the campsite home.** Please be very conscious of this when thinking of bringing any animals as our geese wander around the dam perimeter and over to the campsite to say hi. (hand raised and friendly, just very vocal!) Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club. Guests will be able to see them fly around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club. During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globemasters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower, and drinking water supply. A basic long drop outhouse is set up for guest use. Fire pit and picnic table for use. Please leave no trace and take all rubbish with you. An information email will be sent a few days prior to your arrival containing all your checkin and checkout information. Perfect for a place to hideaway and relax for a staycation (40 minutes from Brisbane) or a base to explore the surroundings. Follow our Instagram: @lakehaigsleafarm for updates and photos! LOCALS GOUGE: - For families, the Ewenique hobby farm is located roughly 500m up the road. Check out their facebook page, a good activity for the kids on the weekends. - Perfect spot to explore all our little country towns from. Fernvale is only a short drive, the famous Fernvale bakery is a must. - Check out discover Ipswich for whats on or around. Many great local pubs and things to see and do! PLEASE NOTE: ** PRICING - $50.00 per night per vehicle (caravan/camper, this includes 4 people.) As it is advertised as 1 SITE FOR ONE CARAVAN/CAMPER, booking options don't include adding an extra camper or family group. We are happy to have guests camp with other friends or family (max 5 caravans/campers on site) ON REQUEST. To do this, please select the extra caravan option (under extras) when booking. Please note that it is $50 per night per camper/caravan so you will need to add the extra twice if it is for two nights (or 4 times if booking for 2 extra caravans/campers for two nights etc.) Please send me a message if you have any questions, as the booking selection options don't have the capability to reflect adding extra campers to a single booking site as of yet. * No parties or large gatherings, but happy for small friend or family groups *Exclusive site on our 80acre working property just off the Warrego Highway at Haigslea.  (Please note as we are 1km off the highway there is mild highway noise.) ** Current Update ** Due to no rain - our dam level is quite low. Still plenty of water to have a paddle about, but wouldn’t recommend for swimming as potential submerged islands/debris. The campsite has its own gate access for self checkin and checkout and is located next to our 14 acre dam. This splits off to another private smaller dam with banks and secret hideaways to explore. The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels (try your luck at fishing, we haven’t had such luck.) There is a large pontoon to take in the evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!)  The campsite is bordered by seasonal crop paddocks and recently a stunning addition of our windmill and feature tank** tank damaged in last storm (new upgraded one coming soon!) We have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, so you may have some friends hanging about. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!)  **Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife *** Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club. Guests will be able to see them fly around of a weekend. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower, and drinking water supply.  A basic long drop outhouse is set up for guest use.  Please leave no trace and take all rubbish with you. Private gate access from the road.  We will send through an information email for self check in and check out the week prior which will include the gate code. Lake Haigslea Farm
Farm Camp by the Dam
Beautiful lawn, great level pitch sites to choose from. Plenty of room for totem tennis and cricket. Large campfire pit. Drop toilet was clean and ample lighting for night time visits. Sturdy pontoon was great for afternoon drinks while watching the sun set over the dam.

Lake Haigslea Farm
The night sky all to yourself.
A very tidy camp spot with loads of space all to yourselves. Bit of highway noise but you soon settle in. Easy camping amongst well kept level grassed field. Lovely surroundings. Very peaceful couple nights camping under the stars. Large fire pit, composite toilet and a lake to get wet in. Loads of birds about. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Country feel close to home.
A lovely private spot that feels a million miles from anywhere but is only 40mins from home! Well maintained and great for groups to spend quality time! We took our SUP and enjoyed swimming and paddling on the lake.
