We are on 42 acres with one big dam and a small one. Mostly trees and slopes, but has some flat land. Suitable for Tents but you will need 4WD ! Plenty of wallabies on the property, we have two cow and some geese. Mount Mee is a good walking spot for those who would like to seek some activities. 20 mins to north lakes shopping 30 mins to Redcliffe 45 mins Australia Zoo. 1 hour maybe less to Caloundra . No electricity or water available. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome. If you’re wanting to bring more cars or more people than what I’ve advertised. Please contact me, as I’m sure we can sort something out. Caroline was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The spot was nice and secluded and prefect for a weekend away with the guys. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

An amazing, pet friendly, private campsite just outside of Brisbane. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating, and we all had a wonderful time. We will certainly be back in the future ☺️

We really enjoyed our overnight camp at Desteni Farm. It had been raining quite a bit in the days leading up, so our host met us at the gate to check in on 4WD capacity and led us safely down to the site and provided an alternative track out. The site was guaranteed solely for our party of two which was the main reason we booked the location. We enjoyed the privacy, the handy benches to sit on and the campfire. Our host was flexible with timing, which made it possible for us to set up camp early so we could fish the rest of the day at nearby Lake Samsonvale. Awesome easy getaway micro-adventure surrounded by nature while close to civilisation.

What a great spot! The firepit and seating area is a huge bonus. Our dog loved exploring, and we saw loads of wildlife. Would definitely recommend if you are after somewhere close to Brisbane, great for a quick getaway. Wished we could have stayed another night or two!

A great private site by a nice little stream which was fortunately running for us for to recent rains. So close to Brisbane but you wouldn't know it as it feels in the middle of the bush, apart from some light traffic close by (not enough to be off any concern). Very relaxing and loved watching the bird life and the wallabies passing by in the afternoons. Great fire pit area to chill and enjoy the sky views.

If you are looking for a campsite close to Brisbane put this sone on your list. Its very private and big enough for a small group. With all the rain we had the little stream was running thats right by the site and there is also a small dam. Carloine your lovely host will ask if you want the site with or without her friendly pet cows. I chose with and they stopped by for a visit..adorable. The road is close but not a lot of traffic. It was very peaceful and there are some walks you can do around the property . Caroline is working on clearing the dam site for easy access and there is a bigger dam to walk to. Throughly enjoyed this site and the lovely firpit and stream. Tip bring mossie repellant.

Great spot, great host. Highly recommend. Had our own private spot with a campfire. Tons of good 4x4 and walking tracks near by. Not far from Dayboro if you need to stock up. Absolutely loved our weekend here.
