This whole camp is immaculately manicured. It was way more than I expected. On arrival Leanne met me with a lovely welcoming gift and directed me to camp. Peter and Leanne work tirelessly to keep it looking so beautiful, fairy lights in the trees are just magical at night.
I camped at the secluded Hideaway hollow powered, water, nestled under a canopy of trees with grandpas beard hanging everywhere and right beside the dam. A big turtle came right up to sunbake on the fake grass. Wallabies grazing were lovely to watch as well as the king parrots and kookaburras.
It was absolutely faultless, visibly enchanting.
I loved my stay and can’t wait till my next visit.

The location was absolutely stunning and looked every bit as immaculate as the listing photos. The hosts were wonderful and made us feel very welcome, including a thoughtful gift basket on arrival and even delivering firewood to us.
The only downside was the fire pit. While it looked beautiful, made from sandstone blocks, the design didn’t allow the heat to radiate out properly, so there was very little warmth. On a very chilly night, it made sitting outside quite uncomfortable, and we ended up retiring to the van earlier than planned because it was simply too cold. I’d recommend bringing your own portable fire pit if you’re hoping to sit around a warm fire, as the onsite ones seem to be designed more for appearance than warmth.
Aside from that, it was a beautiful, peaceful location, lovely and quiet, and the hosts were exceptional. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

What a beautiful spot to camp. Perfect for kids too. The open space and immaculately kept property are great! Listening to the bird life each morning was such a highlight for us, nature lovers.
We will be back and cannot wait :)

We had an amazing time, A huge thank you to our hosts Peter and Leanne who were very friendly and accommodating, and the welcome pack was delicious!!.The site was very well maintained and was one of the best stays we have had. Will definitely be back.

This campsite was very clean and tidy with so much space and did not feel crowded at all. We stayed for 3 nights and would highly recommend to anyone. Leanna and Peter were extremely accomodating and very friendly, they even prepared the fire-pit before arrival and gave us an Easter gift hamper. Hopefully we will book again soon :)

We took our Campervan to Campfire Flat in Camp Mountain (near Samford). We had so much space and a campfire to enjoy. Close to the MTB trails and nearby hikes, plus enjoy the cafe's at Samford Village. Great hosts who are expert landscapers. Such a good venue for a staycation close to Brisbane, or for anyone passing through.

Our site was very well presented, very well maintained flat grass area next to the tree lined gully. Very nice sandstone block fire circle, which was even pre stocked with kindling. Leanne welcomed us with a lovely welcome pack. Zero road noise. The fairy lights in the trees were lovely at night.

Peter and Leanne were the best hosts imaginable, friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. We had an amazing time staying in such a nice spot, we felt safe the entire time and nothing was a tall order for them if we needed help finding anything in the local area etc.
We will 100% be back here when we are in Australia again, we can’t thank our hosts enough for our time there and can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful, lush green property and we were greeted with a lovely welcome gift including a bottle of red wine, chocolates, marshmallows & magic flames. The trees were absolutely stunning when lit up at night, would highly recommend this Hipcamp

Such a lovely spot to stay. We only went for 1 night and wish we had stayed longer. It is a quiet hidden oasis and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Only a short drive into Samford village for a meal, a little waterhole for the pugs to swim. Couldn’t ask for any more.

Hideaway Hollow
We went to Hideaway Hollow after 4 gruelling and exhausting weeks. We just needed to stop and ‘veg’ out. Hideaway Hollow provided us with privacy and sanctuary. The host is lovely! She has ‘rules’ but nothing unusual or onerous, just like any other campsite. Be respectful of the environment! The bird life was amazing! So many beautiful birds. Our only regret is that we couldn’t spend more time.

Over all got kicked out the first morning because we where laughing, talking and listening to Pink Floyd passed 9.00pm, we were rudely talked to by the owner who was infuriated because me and my teenage friends were swearing and drinking till 12am, when she provided a bottle of wine for us. I feel that this kind of behaviour should be expected from people our age however we do not believe we were being much of a nuisance, we were told by the listing that we would have a included bathroom however hours before the booking we were told no bathroom facilities where provided.

Leanne is a wonderful host. We were greated with an enthusiastic smile and gift hamper. We had the site closest to the road, it was a lovely protected spot along the tree line. There is an expansive grassed area for the kids to run around, and enough to explore. It is quiet and serene, but an easy drive into Samford Village.

Loved our stay with our dogs at the Enchanted Paddock. It was quiet & very private tucked away down the bottom of the property in the Hideaway Hollow site. Beautiful at night with the fairy lights in the trees overlooking the lovely grass paddock. Great location being close to Samford & Brisbane with plenty of things to do.

We stayed in the paddock for a camping trip and it was such a peaceful, wholesome experience. The space was beautiful and calm — perfect for unwinding. There were cute ponies nearby (which we all adored), and the hosts went above and beyond by leaving us firewood and a little gift, which made the weekend feel even more special.
We really appreciated being able to bring such a large group — there was so much space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves without feeling cramped. It was such a memorable time, and I’m so glad we got to celebrate here. Highly recommend for a peaceful group getaway!

We loved our stay at the enchanted paddock, we stayed 2 nights in our caravan and there was plenty of access and room for our 20ft van, the hosts were easy to communicate with, very frendly and gave us a lovely gift on arrival, there were other campers there that were very courteous, a great peacefull location with close access to Samford village.
