Located in beautiful Sheldon 8 acres of secluded and peaceful bush land with a large freshwater dam. [xxxxxxxx] 4WD access only and offroad camper trailers or small off-road caravans only. You can either relax or get out and about as we are located near the famous Sirromet Winery and walking distance to Mount Cotton’s popular Eastern Escarpment walking and biking trails and amazing views up at the summit of Moreton Bay and across to the Glass House mountains. Venman Bushland National Park is just up the road and offers great walking trails. Daisy Hill Conservation Park is also a short drive away which is a great spot for a picnic and offers mountain bike trails, walking tracks and a BBQ area. Moreton bay access is also close by with a short drive to either Victoria Point, Cleveland or Redland Bay. In addition, the property has beautiful walking trails. Campfires permitted however must be kept within the allocated fire pit and must be outside of restrictions. You must have portable toilet and be fully self-sufficient. All waste to be removed by campers upon departure. We would like to preserve this site for all future campers so please ensure that you abide by our rules. Generators welcomed, to be switched off between 10pm and 7am. Please be mindful of loud music after 10pm - please adhere to this request else you may be asked to leave. Unfortunately, to preserve our wildlife, no pets allowed. 4WD Required for this property. We cannot accommodate large caravans at this stage, due to the access to the site (steep gravelled driveway) and track to campsite has some bends not suitable for long vehicles) Please Note - absolutely no trespassing on neighbour’s properties, stay behind the rocks and fences and do not access the Quarry, as they have CCTV, and you will be charged with Trespassing. Have an enjoyable stay!

Beautiful space, right in middle of Brisbane suburbs but you wouldn't know it. So tranquil and surrounded by nature was great. Little pricey for just a space to camp with no toilet or access to a rubbish dump area but still amazing

We really enjoyed our overnight stay here. The 4WD drive into the property was a fun part of the experience, and the campsite itself felt private and peaceful once we were settled. We were especially grateful that the hosts accommodated our late arrival and took the time to guide us to our site in the dark. After the recent wet weather, there was still quite a bit of water around and the track was a little boggy, but we found a nice dry, flat spot near the fire area without any trouble. A great little bush escape close to Brisbane, and we’d happily return for another stay—hopefully with a little drier weather next time.

Very accomodating host. Nice flat sites with fire pit - kept us nice and warm! 4WD definitely required - towed our off road camper trailer up the steep tracks! Peaceful and beautiful clear nights with awesome uninterrupted views of the night sky! Great for a night away - just 35 min from CBD!

We booked a last-minute camping trip and Tish was incredibly accommodating, making the whole process easy and stress-free. The campsite was very well maintained, with everything neat and cared for. The location offers a peaceful, quiet atmosphere with a genuine bushland feel, making it a great place to relax and unwind. Despite feeling secluded, it's still conveniently located only 15–20 minutes from shops. We really enjoyed our stay and will happily be returning in the future 😊

Tish and her partner were so accomodating and even helped us late, last minute after a bit of a funny experience at a different Hipcamp nearby. We had a lovely stay and it was in a convenient location to explore Brisbane! We were super grateful for their help. We would stay here again.

Lakeside Retreat - Camp Site 1
My two boys and I stayed at Tish’s Lakeside site, and had the best stay! We even extended our stay by another night because the boys were having so much fun. Tish was lovely and very accommodating. The boys had fun fishing and kayaking in the dam. Was plenty of room to kick the ball around and play some Cricket. We loved spotting all the different kinds of birds around in the trees, and listening to all the different sounds. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Thanks again Tish!

Beautiful spot! The hosts are really lovely. Tish is very easy to communicate with. The site is level, clean, tidy, private, tranquil, amazing!! We have an off road, 15ft hybrid caravan and we were easily able to get it to the site and set up.

It truly feels like you're alone in the bush, yet you're still conveniently close to everything you need. The hosts were fantastic — super friendly with excellent communication throughout. It was the perfect relaxing getaway, and I'll definitely be coming back.
