If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans plastic glasses to drink out off. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water. During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out. Took our camper trailer to Dead Tree Alley really enjoyed the camp site. Guy was very friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. Highlight was getting to feed the huge variety of animals on his property. The grounds are kept very tidy and hot shower and a toilet was great.

This host is named Guy. He is awesome - made my stay very pleasant. I did the animal feeding experience, extra feeding bucket , and got some fresh eggs from the host. I highly recommend adding these to your booking. They have horses, ponies, cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, chickens, turkeys and even free-range guinea pigs. The animals were very friendly and the ponies and chickens were very curious about what we were eating and came very close to us and the ponies allowed the kids to pat them. We pre-purchased a bucket of animal feed when we made the booking. Animal feed times are at 5.30pm and 8.30am. We camped near a tree towards the top of the driveway. The tree was decorated with festoon lights which provided a nice light to the bathroom at night. We got to see a shooting star and the kid's thought they might have seen Santa's sleigh. It was a great first time camping trip for us. Thanks Guy.

I loved camping at Bares, the camping sites were absolutely clean and tidy. Bathroom always well maintained as the showers. Paul, Tracey and Robert are very friendly and helpful. Roberts helped my kids and I packing up after or gazebo was damaged. Robert took the time to teach us some nots. Lovely place with lovely people. Feeding the animals was a nice experience.

What a great spot to park my campervan for a few nights! We were positioned looking out to the water, super close for swimming access. We were able to purchase fire wood and have a little fire. We selected a site at the top end of the lake... it was so incredibly peaceful as we had the entire area to ourselves. The amenities in the main camping area were beautifully clean. The lake was amazing to swim and cool down in at the main camping area, unfortunately a little too weedy for swimming up the end where we were.... but it was a lovely walk down to take a dip.

Penthouse with an outhouse was a beautiful spot with an absolutely stunning view. My partner loves cows so to see them up close as soon as we got to our site she was in love instantly. Great spot for a couples getaway weekend and camp spots are far apart so it feels like you have the place to yourself. Cameron was a great host had the pleasure of meeting him upon entering the site and was very informative and courteous. Had a look at the different sites and they are more then accommodating for large groups aswell. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back again. Thanks again Cameron for allowing us to stay at your amazing property.

The knight Ranch is a small hobby farm with beautiful flat grassy fields, Established trees providing plenty of shade. Wildlife a plenty. With resident animals tawny frog mouth and ducks. The camp/caravan site is isolated out in the rear paddock. The most pristine area on the property. As soon as you arrive you will begin to relax. Easy access off wallace road and easy pull through to the back paddock. Open grassy field with established trees overlooking a small dam and bushland. The perfect place to set up, chuck a roast on and crack a cold one. Campfire locations set up with rocks. Sunrises through the trees over the wetland/bushes. Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. Glass house mountains are a 20-25min drive for some great hikes and if you make it to the top some worthy photos. Brisbane is 45min drive with no traffic. Bribie island is a 22min drive with lots of great cafes and flat walks available. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. There is a designated area for Hip-Camp straight and to the right near the fire pit and bucket. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead if they do not recall or like to chase wildlife. As we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Please do not chop logs or collect logs from the property.

The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums. The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Nestled in the northern foothills of the Little Liverpool range and Minden village, Foggy Lookout Wellness Eco Retreat (FLoWER) is 53 acres of hillside bushland, rolling pastures and private hilltop campsites, with stunning views, sometimes foggy mornings and spectacular sunsets. Our property is an easy drive to many local towns in the Lockyer and Somerset regions and only an hour to Toowoomba or Brisbane city. Towns to visit north of us - Lowood, Tarampa and Fernvale and Esk. Towns west - Plainland, Laidley, Gatton and Toowoomba. Country towns south - Marburg and Rosewood, plus easy access to the Scenic Rim. Drive East and you come to Ipswich and Brisbane. We can help you tailor your own special Foggy Lookout gathering. Our sites are 4WD access only at the moment and have a designated fire pit for camp fires, just check there are no fire bans in place prior to arrival. ***ORDER YOUR FIREWOOD (In Extras) This must be purchased at time of booking to avoid disappointment or BYO firewood. ***BOOK Amenities TOILET/SHOWER units are only available for hire at our sites. ***Wellness Activities must be booked as early as possible to avoid disappointment, preferably at the time of making booking. Pets on leash will be considered at some campsites, please ask us if you want to bring one.
