The state snowmobile trails run nearby with access at the power lines that cross Raccoon Hill, Great for hiking, biking in the summer. And snowmobiling in the winter. State rail trail is nearby also (bottom of Raccoon Hill and rt 11) Giving access to the entire state! Highland Lake is a few miles away. Webster Lake is a bit further down the road. Fishing ponds are all over the area. Ragged mountain is 20 minutes from here. The mountain biking park in Northfield is about 20 minutes away. Black Bear Vineyard is a few miles away. Enjoy our 73 acres in peace. Our site has a well you can use to fill up your tanks, we recommend using an in-line filter as the water is not tested. State Forest, that encompasses 3,893 acres that covers most of Mt. Kearsarge. My campsite is located at the historic property settled by the Watkins family in the early 1790's. Abner Watkins was a founding father of Warner and a soldier in the Revolutionary War serving under Ebenezer Webster, father of Daniel. With other men from Warner and surrounding communities, they fought in the Battles of Bennington and Saratoga and came back victorious. Abner with his wife Ruth and family retired up here on the mountain and are buried at the small cemetery down the road. Enjoy this peaceful spot surrounded by beautiful oak, maple, birch, pine, hemlock and ash trees. Abundant wildlife lives on the mountain including deer, moose, bear, bobcat and turkeys. Plenty of shade with a new outhouse, fresh water, fire pit and a picnic table. Plenty of free firewood to gather from around the site. Right next door is the Rollins State Park toll gate to drive up Mt. Kearsarge and also access to miles of hiking trails. Roomy 8’ X 11’ tent on raised platform with solar power inside tent.

We are located on a private 36 acres of mostly woodland. We abut 100 acres of conservation land and another 100 acres of private woodlands. Park at the end of Farley Rd on the RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. The sites are a short 5 minute hike to the campsites. The property on the left side of Farley Road is private property, no trespassing, be respectful. There is a marsh and a creek on the property that support myriad wildlife. There are owls, loons, eagles, hawks, hermit thrushes, robins, turkeys, song birds and herons. There are deer, moose, bear(don't leave your food out!), chipmunks, squirrels, opossum, raccoons(don't leave your food out!), skunks, minks, otters and many other species in our neighborhood. We live at the end of a dead end road with very little traffic. No potable water provided, bring a filter and filter fresh water while you are here. Outhouse is easily accessible for all campers. This is a 200 year old farm filled with life. There are well groomed areas and other more wild areas. We are on almost 13 acres of land that attracts all forms of natural wildlife. In addition, we have alpacas, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, a cat and chickens. There is a beaver pond on the lower property. Each site includes a place to sit and eat (ie. picnic table), fire pit and just breathtaking views. Campers can drive into and park at their site. Each site is separate and private from other sites. We are 15 minutes from Highland Mountain Bike Park We are 15 minutes from BankNH Pavillon (concerts) We are 15 minutes from The Weirs in Laconia (Bike Week) We have two outdoor showers that are very rustic and open and the water is the temperature of the surrounding air (bring a bathing suit or something to shower in, there is no privacy fence at this time) This is an active farm that has an operating butcher shop on the premises. We have a farm store offering a variety of items for sale including eggs, honey, rubs and much more. There is a microwave available to the campers in the farm store as well. Each site will be given a bundle of fire wood on the house, additional wood is for sale. You are welcome to participate in farm work. Coffee (from a local NH roaster), tea, hot chocolate and potable water (from the faucet) will be available daily. We are a farm family with young children so large and rowdy or drinking parties are very heavily discouraged.

This is the private campsite we developed on our farm several years ago for when my wife and I need a little getaway, but don't have the time to travel. Shaded Brookside Glen is a level, mowed lawn surrounded by mature trees and bushes. Dry camping only, but a nice composting outhouse is easily available nearby. Water is available from the year round trout stream, but drinking water must be carried in. Shaded Brookside Glen has a picnic table, a metal fire pit, and limited fire wood is supplied. The drive to the site is across a grassy, mowed, well drained field, but can be effected by long periods of rain.

Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain. Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity. The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so. The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

At one point in the early 1900's it was home to itinerant farmers who farmed the nearby fields. Our property was the dumping grounds for the stones/rocks that were pulled from the fields. You will notice lots of them throughout the property! Our site is a well manicured area near our house on a 3-acre parcel. There is lots of sun and shade depending on when and where you happen to be on the site. There is plenty of space to pull out your favorite lawn game and a great firepit to keep warm at night. We are about 10 minutes from Clough State Park where there is plenty to do including swimming, paddling, biking, hiking, ATVing, etc. Our site has 50amp service and filtered well water (2 spigots). Depending on how long your RV is, you may not be able to put our your awning all the way.

Weekend Trip to Camp Frogginton

We loved our stay here! The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond whenever we had a question. They even shared fresh vegetables from their garden with us, which were delicious! The river was definitely one of the highlights! The water was so fresh and clean. We brought our paddleboard down and paddled/walked about 4 km upstream to some little baby rapids, then hopped on the board and let the current float us all the way back. Such a fun way to spend the afternoon! The evening after our hike, we brought our tubes down to the river and just floated around, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. During our trips to the river, we saw so much wildlife, including lots of birds (bald eagles) and we were even lucky enough to spot a deer standing in the river! The campsite itself was private and peaceful, with water available to refill our trailer tank. The owner had firewood available for us, which was super convenient, and there were also lawn games to choose from. We also really appreciated how easygoing and accommodating our host was. We were out hiking when we realized we had accidentally forgotten to book the site for that day/night. We messaged her, and she responded right away saying not to worry—the site was still available and we could simply book it. No stress at all! Amazing river, private spot with wonderful hosts. We would absolutely stay here again!

Communication was spot on. We gave an ETA and were greeted in the driveway, guided to the site, and given a short tour. What a place! Lush. Interesting. Open and yet plenty of privacy and shade. So much to explore. Or just sit comfortably and read a book. So many birds! Easy to park our 13 foot camper. Fresh water, lawn games and firewood available. Defiantly would visit again.

I appreciated the way they accommodated the late arrival for me, I was stuck in awful traffic on the way up and they were so accommodating to let me set up and officially check in the next day after ai reserved online, I got there late at night and it was a relief. They also were so helpful to supervise my hookup of all lines and were pleasant and cheerful.

Really great site! It was quiet during the week however the weekend tenters were loud with music and talking to each other. Next time we will definitely choose a site away from them and in a more quiet place in the park. Beautiful campground however and staff Very friendly.

Spacious Skies French Pond Campground was family friendly, lovely, well-organized and welcoming. There was terrific communication at every step of the way. The pond was lovely and it was quiet. The sites were spacious and ours was wooded, had electric, sewer, and water on each site, lots of sites near wooded areas. The Lakeview site was more like a short walk from our site to the pond, but the pond and beach area was substantial, set up well with Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, kayaks, on the beach. It was truly peaceful and joyful with lots of kids playing. There was an issue with the sewer at one point at a neighboring site that was resolved promptly. We left having made friends and having booked a return within a month.

Weekend Trip to Country Camping

The site is fully shaded with a level gravel pad backed up to a wooded area. We had no problem backing into the pad and the hookups were in good working order. The location is very nice and we even had a flock of wild turkeys visit. Bryan was a very good host and responsive to communications. I would recommend this HipCamp.

This campground was beautiful - wide open space with some shade and access to a water hookup. The water is from a local spring - and it tasted great! The campsite has a cute little area to sit with a handmade "stump" table, umbrella, chairs, and a nice firepit. The view of the fields surrounded by trees and a cute barn was picturesque. The hosts are very friendly and respond quickly to questions. They have a nice looking farm with, chickens, mini-horses, a pig, and a farm dog. Lots of places to hike just a short drive away. Just around the corner from the entrance to their property, there is literally a pipe coming out of the rock on the roadside, with water free-flowing out of it. There is a spot or two to pull over, and there was usually someone there with empty containers to fill up with ice cold Spring Water! We were going hiking one day and decided to stop there to fill up our Camelbaks. The water really was good... no sulfery taste to it. Very refreshing! We'd definitely visit again if we're in the area.

Great location, but not too far from the city. Nice, we'll kept property. We have a 34' rig and tow with an 18+' Suburban and we had space to back in, even with the boat out. Bryan is welcoming and quick to respond to any needs/questions we had. Highly recommend and we will be back!
