Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Come sit by the water with a fire going, watching the sunset go down in front of you after a day of kayaking, fishing and hiking. Beautiful spot right on the water includes kayaks, (life jackets available upon request by size) firewood and chairs. Plenty of room for multiple tents and tent sites are welcome to spread out down trails off both sides of the flat spot. Newfound Lake, cute restaurants, grocery store and liquor store are nearby for everything you might need. Any questions please let me know.

Enjoy the perfect waterfront getaway—ideal for relaxing, exploring, and making the most of the outdoors. This private campsite sits right on the water, offering beautiful views and easy access for kayaking, swimming, or simply unwinding by the shore. Your stay includes three kayaks, life jackets, camp chairs, firewood, and a grill—everything you need for a classic lakeside experience. There’s also a small tote on site stocked with helpful essentials like utensils, paper plates, lighters, and s’mores sticks, so you can travel light and still have what you need. For added comfort, a fully functional camper is available on site with all the bells and whistles. Whether you forgot something or just want access to a shower or indoor space, you can use part or all of the camper for an additional fee. Beyond the campsite, there’s plenty to explore. Nearby hiking trails offer great opportunities to get out and enjoy nature, and Newfound Lake is just up the road for even more water activities and scenic views. Grocery stores, restaurants, and charming small-town shops are all within a quick 10-minute drive—close enough for convenience, while still feeling like a true escape. The setting is peaceful and private, perfect for kicking back by the fire, enjoying the water, and unplugging from everyday life. Please note: The driveway is steep and dirt. If you don’t have 4WD, it’s recommended to park at the top (less than a 100-foot walk to the site). If you’re bringing an RV, please check ahead to ensure your vehicle can safely make it down.

Loved our stay at Matt's land! Camped with two tents and a rooftop tent on a Tacoma, as well as 4runner and Rav4 (all needed to be in 4WD or AWD to get up the dirt driveway to leave the site, or else there was a spot to park your car at the top of the driveway). Peaceful, beautiful setting, we didnt see anyone except a few cars, a helicopter training over Ragged Mountain, and a bear walked by the site! It kept its distance, we didnt feel threatened, and put our food away in our cars. Loved that the campsite came with wood, kayaks, great trees for hammocks, and even a little adirondack chair for my toddler to use! Only found one tick and saw a couple mosquitoes, but we also camped during a cold weekend in May. Plenty of space to throw tents wherever, but we chose to be close to the water. Matt was a great host, proactive, gave us recommendations for the area (the country store is only 4mins away and had everything we needed, including diapers). We also booked the adjoining camper, and it was a perfect stay for our group. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Beautiful Camper on the Water
Had a great time at Matt’s spot. He has everything you could possibly need for a fun weekend including plenty of firewood, some drinks in the fridge, and kayaks to explore the river with. Would 100% recommend and hope to come back again soon. Matt is super friendly and easy to communicate with.

Matt's property was beautiful. We were a large group of 5 Men and 3 boys with a 13', 22' and 25' Camper. A couple of large tents, 4 trucks and a Camper Van with plenty of set up room right by the water. Matt was highly accommodating and answered any and all questions we had in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend this property for a large group or even a party of one.

This is lovely spot overlooking a slow-flowing river area. The photos are accurate. The host sent me some great information ahead of time and was very informative and welcoming. I only ended up staying one night because the entire site sits below the road and is highly visible from the road. As a solo camper, I wasn't comfortable with this and the host was very understanding and gracious about this. For groups, this would be a fantastic location...very quiet and peaceful.

As others have mentioned the view was amazing!! It was very private and secluded. As mentioned there was a big hill at the entrance. We loved that we didn’t see anyone else the whole time. Even though it was close to the road the road was not frequently travelled so it was very quiet. Our truck was able to pull our 21’ travel trailer out just fine but you want to make sure you have an appropriate vehicle. It may be challenging to manage if you are bigger! The ground is a bit uneven, so plan to spend a couple of extra minutes if you are using a trailer/rv. There were all sorts of amenities that made it a great spot- we loved the kayaks and there was a grill and little extras in case you need them. The host was great and very communicative. I would definitely say this is one of the most beautiful spots we have stayed. It was perfect for our reactive dog! I love that you felt like you are far away from everything. Definitely recommend!!!

Great camping spot with spots to set up a tent in either the open lot or in the woods off to the side. The view over the water is gorgeous, especially at night when the firefly’s come out.
