Field is surrounded mostly by forrest, only non-drinking water provided from the garden hose at the entrance to the field. Water is shut off late October through the winter but the site is available. Located about an acre behind our family home (which you can see from the spot), the camp site is within steps of our barn, which has both running water and electrical hookups (20amps) for campers to use. An open field next door plays host to numerous deer and turkeys, and the flower fields feature a rotating lineup of beautiful blooms (depending on the time of the season.) We are located off a busy street where cars drive a little too fast — if you have a dog that needs to be walked daily, we would recommend stopping by the beach or one of the many nearby walking trails instead of venturing down the road. Max length of vehicles is 30 feet -- we've found that any longer and the turns are too tight. 10 mins to grocery store (Hannaford) and gas stations 12 mins to local beaches (Long Sands and Short Sands) 15 mins to Portsmouth, NH 20 mins to Nubble Lighthouse 25 mins to Ogunquit, ME 35 mins to Kennebunkport, ME 45 mins to Portland, ME This is a working flower flower farm and on occasion there will need to be someone working in the field near to the campsite, often during the very early hours of the morning (5am during the spring and summer, later in the fall.) That said, we don't use tractors or any heavy machinery and we will always make our best effort to communicate this ahead of time.

Megquier place as they used to call it. Built in 1775, Megquier farm was the first homestead in the town of New Gloucester. The house here is supposedly the oldest in New Gloucester. Situated on originally 60 now 30 acres of woodland, with trails of all sorts that weave through the property which is surrounded by mostly farmland and wooded terrain. The Megquier family who built the house had relations with local indigenous people trading cider from their orchard. They also were known to be rebellious towards English rule at the time and were involved in the local militia leading to the revolutionary war against English rule. Proof of which lies in some historic photos of family members dressed in militia uniform right in front of my house way back when. Furthermore, construction of the house itself violated the kings rule that no tree over two feet in diameter marked by the kings agents was to be harvested. However, the roof sheathing in the house are two feet wide at least. Interesting to review the history of mast landing in Freeport Maine, just a few miles away. More recent undocumented history of this property is just as interesting. I’m told that during the Vietnam war period, many people resided here in commune to resist the draft for that illegal war. They camped along what was once a pond here on a sunny hillside with towering Hemlock trees. Proof of which lies just under the ground such as old beer bottle and cans from that time as well as the rusted front end of an old International Harvester bus similar the one Ken Keasey and the merry pranksters drove around the US with. Pretty cool. I’m told that this place has a cool vibe to it, in the house and around the property. Hopefully I’m keeping that intact. After 7 years here I’ve created a network of trails for biking, skiing and exploring. I’ve carved out a nice high and dry hilltop camp with two 12’x12’ platforms and a composting outhouse. It’s situated on the most isolated area of the property. It’s quiet, private and gets great afternoon/evening light. Totally chill place to isolate. And mountain bike. There are approximately 7 kilometers of private bike trails to explore and more always being created. Very close to other local biking trial networks via some road sections or a quick shuttle to other trailheads. Also there’s a decent little sandy swimming hole a mile down the road. This camp is brand new this summer. I’m hoping to attract people who love mountain biking.Learn more about this land:Winter camping available. Private isolated campsite on 30 acres. Great bike trails. Wooded dry hilltop campsite with privacy and seclusion. I’ve constructed two 12’x12’ platforms at the top of the hill along with a custom built composting outhouse and huge stone fire pit. Bike down your choice of trails into my network right from the site. Park your vehicle in the field near the trailhead and hike in to the camp or bring your four wheel drive vehicle right to the site. Utility cart available. I will provide all the wood you need for a campfire. As well as a water source located at the field. Approximately 7 kilometers of trail and counting. Bring your dog so long as it is behaved. You’ll be able to bike directly from here all the way to Bradbury Mountain state park and back (about 3-4 hrs) or easily drive to multiple trail networks. Pineland Farms located 1 mile away. 15 minutes to Bradbury Mountain state park. 20 minutes to Freeport Maine and LL Bean. 30 minute drive to downtown Portland. 10 minute drive to the nearest store. You’ll be all by yourself out there but close enough to hear the road nearby. You may see people riding a bike down on the main trail but you’ll be all set on top of the camp hill. I’ve created this one awesome refined site. There’s a lot of room here and plenty of spots for primitive camping. Don’t hesitate to contact me with questions.

Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events. Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals. At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers. Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. This spring there is a bald eagle who fishes in front of the cabin most days. We are Brad and Christine and we live further up the driveway in our solar-powered log cabin. While you may catch glimpses of the red cabin or solar array through the trees, we honor your privacy while being nearby in case you need something. We don't overlook the site directly, and you can't see us beyond the occasional glimpse or on the trails passing closer to the buildings. We drive down the driveway past the site if we are leaving or returning home, which we minimize when we have guests. We are located two miles down a gravel road, 2 miles off Rt. 16, you are 15 minutes from groceries, pharmacies, EV charging, gas, and a local campground who can arrange for you to dump your tanks. A private wooded lot on a road with farms and woodland. Some road noise from Middlesex road during commuting times that quiets down for sleeping. Topsham is lovely and I'm grateful to live here and share this space with travelers! My site is designed to be low-priced, easy in-out, and a convenient stop-over for the traveler. Learn more about this land: Camping area is ~1 acre. Total property size is 3.5 acres. Keep on property please. Water and respite available here for a day or two, if this area is your destination or if you're on the road toward an adventure. A single private site. We are not a campground, this is the back part of our land that we hope to offer as respite and safety for travelers looking for this kind of place to stay. We give absolute privacy to campers in the hours 4pm-11am. Please consider that we might be on the lower property during the middle of the day: 11am-4pm, which matches most of our visitors needs as they are using the property as an evening and morning stopover. Food: Brunswick is restaurant and brewery heaven! Amazing beers, wood fired pizza, sushi, Thai, Vietnamese, Greek, German, Filipino, deli, Fusion and more! Harvey’s Hill is a private hilltop campsite with 360° sky views, unbeatable stargazing, and access to our rustic Cantina featuring bathrooms, warm running water, and a basic kitchen. Just 10 minutes off the highway in Epping, NH, it’s the perfect stopover or peaceful escape. Harvey's Hill has been a beloved part of Epping for generations. In the summer, you might see small planes taking off from the hilltop airstrip or locals walking their dogs up to catch the sunset. In the fall, my aunt Erica makes donuts down in the Milk Room, and in the winter, the hill fills with sledders racing down its snowy slope. Many celebrations have taken place here over the years, including weddings, reunions, and picnics. The Cantina is a new addition to the top of the hill. It includes three bathrooms, a kitchen, and electricity. While simple and minimalist, these amenities make the site more comfortable, and we hope they enhance your stay.

Great camp site, lots of room to spread out with an on property hike. Eben was a super host, took great care to accommodate us. Prepaid for fire wood which was super dry and ready to enjoy. Amenities such as electrical, running water and hot shower was fantastic. We will be back to enjoy again. Lots of space for a 24' travel trailer/pick up truck. Highly recommend, nice place Eben!!!

Turn off the highway on to our road and in 2 miles you will find yourself in a rare, forgotten forest

Excellent site we timed the brook perfectly after a heavy rainstorm. When we arrived our host was standing in the pouring rain to help in case we needed it. Brought firewood after the rain stopped and there’s donkeys and horses in the field across from the campsite. Wonderful place.

This was our favorite Hipcamp yet!! Gorgeous, even, RV spot. We have a 24ft rig and had plenty of space. You park right beside the brook (that lulls you to sleep at night). It’s private and very peaceful. We will return for sure! Christine and Brad were accommodating and communicative.

My Wife, Fur Baby, and I stayed at Eben’s land for a weekend and had an Amazing Time!!! Let me start of by saying the host Eben was wonderful!!! He met us upon arrival and was so kind and friendly and welcoming. He goes out of his way to show you how things at the site work and truly makes sure you understand how to operate everything. He had given us a map of the property and showed us everything his land had to offer and asked us what exactly what we were looking to do. Upon us answering what it was we were looking to do his made suggestions to accommodate our needs. He made suggestions around the area that were dog friendly so we would be able to accommodate our fur baby as well. Which was very thoughtful! After we were all set with everything he left us to ourselves and what a beautiful peaceful place it is. We chose the following morning to take a hike around the property and were pleasantly pleased with all the Beautiful Views his property had to offer. There’s nothing better than lying on a hammock and looking at Mountain View’s of the Fall Foliage. It truly looked like views you would see in a book or a movie. They were truly breathtaking. It was so nice to see our fur baby run free in the wilderness and soak up all the new scents. He was in heaven. This place is relaxing, peaceful, and just what we needed to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle of Life. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others and we will most certainly be back without a doubt.

Eben reached out ahead of our arrival to ensure he could meet us and provide detailed instructions about the property’s layout, complete w/ a map & personalized advice on local attractions. Our primary goal was to relax & enjoy the hiking trails on the property. Eben provided clear directions for navigating the mountain & even provided a few links w/ hiking ideas & an ice cream recommendation later that evening. The next day, we set out to explore. My daughter was thrilled to navigate us through the blueberry bush maze. We also found a playground w/ basketball, bocce ball, & horseshoes—a fantastic little spot! The hike to the summit was memorable, & we appreciated the chance to relax in a hammock along the way. Campsite 3 was unoccupied, so we made a detour & enjoyed the beautiful views & hammocks there. My daughter particularly loved the spooky trail we encountered on our hike! This was the cleanest & most thoughtfully organized campsite I’ve ever experienced. The on-site porta potty was impressively maintained & the shower was excellent. The picnic table & additional cooking/prep table were both excellent &, most importantly, level! The campsite provided a charcoal grill, complete w/ a nice table beside it, & a hose running next to the fire pit. Eben was a wonderful host, & his property is simply spectacular. His ice cream recommendation was seriously some of the best we’ve ever had! I highly recommend stopping by for a visit—you won’t be disappointed!

Julia’s place is everything that is described. The pictures are accurate- it really is that peaceful and quiet. It was very private just as promised, but with easy access to primary roads. A really nice touch was the firewood that she provided. All the necessary amenities were there.

We had a great time. Eben was a wonderful host, he replied right away to any questions I had before and during our stay. His directions were very helpful, and he greeted us right when we pulled in. The property itself was beautiful and the trails were easy to navigate. Everything was well thought out. There was plenty of space to prep for meals, lights that illuminated the site as well as solar lights all around the property. You can tell he really cares about the land, and wants everyone who visits to appreciate it as well. We will definitely be going back!
