Escape to a primitive campsite tucked into the woods on a flat lot along a gravel driveway. Surrounded by forest on all sides, the site offers a peaceful setting where you can unplug while still being close to everything southern Maine has to offer. You’re just 20 minutes from downtown Portland, nearby beaches, and Sebago Lake, and only 15 minutes from Portland International Jetport and major highways, making this an ideal home base for exploring the area’s coastline, lakes, restaurants, and attractions. Come enjoy the best of both worlds: a forest retreat with easy access to Portland and southern Maine.Flat, L shaped site surrounded by trees. Multiple ways to park an RV. Quiet, with some occasional neighbors driving by and plane noise.

Campfires allowed
Firepit. Small campfires are allowed in the fire pit, subject to the following conditions: fire must remain under 2ftx2ftx2ft, sufficient water must be available to properly put out the fire (there is no access to water onsite), fire must be supervised at all times, no cutting of any trees, and if the town/state is not giving out fire permits then campfires are prohibited. Please be respectful and responsible.
Pets allowed
Off leash. Off leash dogs must be under voice control and good around other dogs and kids in case of a chance encounter.
No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets
Gas station with bathroom 1.9 miles away, 5 minute drive, if needed.
No potable water
Bring your own water. Gas station 5 minutes away, Hannaford grocery store 7 minutes away.

Easy to get to, nice and cozy. Clean, well kept spot with plenty of firewood. Peaceful night! Highly recommend!

This was an amazing spot to spend the night with my 19 foot Ford transit camper van! It was private and clean. Close enough to stores to resupply. I would definitely stay here the next time I’m in the Portland area.

It was a small, quiet campsite. Although it was right next to the host's house, it felt completely private. As mentioned by other reviews, airplanes flew overhead but it didn't bother me. I enjoyed my stay!

Nice little spot tucked away in the woods. Good for a place to hang and crash while exploring the area. Expect some overhead noise from airplanes if tent camping.
