Lovedy's Land at Nubbin Corner.
7 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents3 acres · Limington, MEFamily owned property obtained through the barter system. You shingle my barn and I'll give you that property. My Pappy's land. 11 acres. Recently cleared for its timber. With some landscaping it became clear that some beautiful campsites were forming. My father is 78 years old. The last thing he ever thought he would be doing with his retirement is jumping back on his excavator. Can't keep a good man down. Now here we are. Father and daughter. One day my children. 3 large tent sites and two camper sites. Future cabin and seasonal RV sites. A brook runs through the property but dries up after June. There is a small pond with rock stairs. Deer and turkey are frequently seen. Peace and serenity. This property does not offer complete seclusion. You will see other campers if all 3 sites are occupied. There is spacious distance. What this location offers is that it is centrally located to mountains, oceans, lakes, concert venues, restaurants, nightlife, shopping and antiquing. Traveling to NH and Massachusetts is a day trip. A few hours and your in central Maine. Cross the border into Canada. So much to explore or just relax. Stay a few nights or stay the season. 2023 is off to a great camping season. Already meeting new campers. Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces from 2022. A few upgrades. There is an outlet, a shower...hot and a privacy fence. Possibly some hanging herbs if the deer leave them alone. Goats. Yes goats. Not until fall though. Come visit.

The farm was awarded Outstanding Conservation Farm in 2003 and since 2009 the forest is a nationally certified Tree Farm by the American Tree Farm System. The Point
7 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents8 acres · Gouldsboro, METhe Point is located in Gouldsboro, in Downeast Maine on the Schoodic Peninsula near the Schoodic portion of Acadia National Park on occupied Wabanaki land. The point is our home, offered to guests as a place for seekers of peace and solace to gain a better relationship and appreciation with nature in a world that has forgotten the importance and connection we all have with the planet that sustains us. A priority here for me is keeping this land pristine and respected. Our mission to save and protect our natural environment and keep it natural and wild can only be accomplished with the active mindfulness of you. We aim to prove that hipcamp can be a magical experience for private landowners and campers alike, to provide a means of temporal community and beneficial alternative to traditional campgrounds; one that does not degrade the environment and break the peace that small towns still contain. Please be mindful of the trash you generate and mindful of the noise you are making— we aim to provide seekers of peace a *quiet* time in nature. Together we are here to be an example to others of what mindful camping can look like in this changing world. Thanks for caring to come, see, explore, learn and being apart of the solution! <3 We hope to hear from you <3

Camp Smiling Pine
4 sites · RVs, Tents30 acres · Gardiner, MEBeautiful waterfront tent sites. Very secluded, private campsites along Cobbosseecontee Stream/River. Many hidden natural gems, trails, and paths. Snowmobile trails are located throughout the land for your winter adventures. Campsites are very unique and have individual access with private water frontage and are separated by a heavily wood shorefront. Check out the real Smiling Pine located on the way to your site Cobbossee Stream is "the key to the entire lake system of Kennebec County." It was part of an Indian trail running from Gardiner on the Kennebec to Moosehead Lake. The last tribal trip down from Canada to the sea was made in 1796, perhaps by way of the old "aboriginal highway" through Cobossee Stream and Pond. Long before the white man's arrival, the braves of the Abenaki tribes returned each spring to favorite fishing stations near river falls and rapids. One such station, used by the Sturgeon (Cabassa) families of the Kennebec Indians, was located above the Gardiner falls on Cobboseecontee ("Land where the sturgeon are taken") Stream. There the men came, accompanied by a few squaws to cook meals and smoke the fat salmon and sturgeon speared as they leaped over the falls on their way upstream to spawn.

In some states, RV camping can be monotonous and unsurprising. Not in Maine. Whether you want a rustic forest landscape or striking water views (take your pick between lakes and the coast), Maine’s RV options are aplenty. You could be tackling Mount Katahdin in Baxter State Park, skiing in Rangeley State Park, or enjoying the sights around Portland or Augusta, and regardless, RV campgrounds are never far away. Because of Maine’s eclectic nature, you could take dozens of RV tours around the state, parking your rig or campervan at campsites along the way, without any redundancy. While it varies, many RV parks and RV resorts in Maine offer amenities such as showers, toilets, laundry, wifi, boat ramps, playgrounds, and watersport rentals (such as canoes and kayaks).

Hipcamp is created with ❤️ and hope for our future.
