Nestled in a quiet country setting near Ellsworth and within easy reach of Acadia National Park, this cozy campsite is the perfect base for exploring the area's scenic coastlines, charming towns, and outdoor adventures. Spend your days hiking, sightseeing, or simply unwinding by the campfire under Maine's starry skies. Keeping to the properties origins, we've arranged sites among the woodlands and apple trees of the early farming community who's artifacts and history still can be found here along the coastal inlets of Downeast Maine.

Our 6 acre slice of heaven is off the beaten path in an agricultural and fishing community on the Union River, 15 minutes drive from Acadia National Park and Mt. Desert Island. Jedidiah was very accommodating with our late arrival and told me exactly where to park and let me know how to get to the outhouse. Unfortunately we had to leave before sunrise so I can’t really speak to much else about the site or property since it was dark.

The place is really really really quiet and dark during the night. So you can relax, enjoy being with only yourself and also looking at those stars. I personally loves it. Would come back with a telescope to see those stars if i have one.

Good place to sleep overnight. There’s also a BBQ grill, but I’d recommend bringing your own. You can also make a nice 🔥 at night.

It was such a nice reprieve to camp on this property between the adventures into Acadia. It’s a beautiful wooded property, away from noise. I felt at peace near in the camp spot. A barred owl flew up to me during morning meditations. Jedidiah is such a kind & grand soul. We got to jam to world music, have a fire and he even explored Acadia with me one day. Right on time 🙌🏻

I had so much fun at this spot! Jedidiah was great and even helped in giving us some recommendations of spots to visit! It's not even a half hour from Acadia and bar harbor-- there's a Walmart like 6 mins away if you need anything- and he gave us some firewood and a giant water jug as complementary. Getting there can be a bit confusing but just put the address he gives you into Google maps and look for the wooden sign in the grass. Try to get there before dark to see it better lol. It was clean, and nice and tucked away. The outhouse was normal. You gotta hike if you wanna get to the river in case you were looking for that in specific. Loved having a campfire here. Totally recommend!
