Searenity is off-grid private land, with no lighting, with gravel access roads only. Access during dark hours, is difficult for new arrivals, we REQUIRE THAT GUESTS ARRIVE DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY. Forest Hideaway is a beautiful Totally Private spot, down a short trail into our forested land. This is a Beach Access site that is on the back acreage of the Searenity Estate. Though not a waterfront site, there is a wonderful and fun secluded Private access trail through our forest land, to our private 2000 feet of Bold Atlantic coastline. Park and walk down the short trail, to pitch a tent and relax by the campfire underneath the trees. This is a large private site with ample room for all size setups. NO CHILDREN UNDER 12 and NO GENERATORS at all There is a stone fire ring for campfires. On the property, there is a private wooded trail path for guests to use to access the beach via wooden stairs. DO NOT use the roadway to the beachfront sites to access the beach, use the beach trail ONLY. The trail access is marked with signs. Guests must walk from their site to the path. there is no parking at the path beginning. The path is separate from all the guest areas. Beautiful sunrises, clear dark skies that allowed for amazing star gazing. I don't think I've ever seen the milky way so brilliantly. We spent an hour on the beach hunting for beach glass. Found a rainbow of colors. All under the watchful eyes of lobster boats and harbor seals. Just tremendous!

We absolutely loved our stay at Searenity! The views from Spruce Bluffs were amazing, with the site perched up above the shoreline and beautiful ocean views all around. It was so quiet and peaceful, and we really enjoyed having such a private, relaxing atmosphere. The walk down the wooded trail to the beach was one of our favorite parts. The beach was beautiful, quiet, and felt wonderfully untouched. It was the perfect place to explore, listen to the water, and just enjoy the peacefulness of the Bold Coast. The site itself was spacious and very well kept, and the natural stone fire pit was a great touch. Sitting by the fire while taking in the ocean views made for a perfect evening. This really is a special off-grid getaway—secluded, peaceful, beautiful, and exactly the kind of place you go to when you want to get away from it all. We would definitely come back!

Amazing stay at the overlook. Excellent view of the water and a family of harbor seals just off shore for our entire stay. Also had a visit from a bald eagle. We stayed during a storm so had the whole place to ourselves. Quiet and relaxing, would definitely stay again.

Talk about a fantastic find! We enjoyed our stay at Kristopher’s land so much—the perfect Maine car camping experience for sure! It is clear the level of care that went into creating this sweet spot, and it is well maintained! Even though we caught a VERY rainy day…it was still wonderful to listen to the ocean from our tent, and take in a scenery that really takes your breath away…a full sky of stars at night (before the rain came) AND a postcard-worthy view from our site! This was epic. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and deeply needed a break from everyone and everything to slow down, connect and indulge the silence. This was the answer to everything we could ask for. Easy booking and check in. Primitive camping with the best view of the stars. Glad we found it- we’ll recommend it to anyone. ❤️

Second time here! Amazing place to spend a weekend on the coast! Kristopher is a fantastic host and very friendly! Lots of fun tide pools to explore and plenty of space to have to yourself! Be back again!

Spruce Bluffs - Beachfront Land
This was a perfect, off-grid camping experience! Our site, Spruce Bluff, was perfectly situated for ocean views, sounds, and the sunrise. The other sites were far enough away so we really felt private and peaceful. The cute trail to the shore was clean and inviting, allowing us to explore the rocks and water. Firewood was conveniently available near our site and at the front entrance. Kristopher was an amazing host. He knew we were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday and left her a birthday card at our site, a gesture that was greatly appreciated. While traveling to Bar Harbor was long (about 1 1/2 hours), the location of this site was well worth it. We cannot wait to camp here again!

Shady Breeze - Beachfront Land
As someone who’s traveled across the country twice, this was probably in my top 3 campsites I’ve ever stayed at. A private rocky beach, insanely beautiful views and sunrises right from our bed, seals frolicking in the water - what more could you ask for?! The site was also easy in and out for our 24 ft trailer, plus relatively flat, which is always appreciated.

My husband & I last minute needed to change our camping plans and boy are we glad! I’m incredibly grateful we found this gorgeous & peaceful oceanfront escape. Everything is very clearly marked & the sites are spacious! Tons of land & beach to explore. Two recommendations before heading into Searenity: 1. Come prepared, the nearest store is a Dollar General 30 minutes away. I LOVED how remote this location is, it was so peaceful & stargazing was incredible. Just make sure you don’t need to drive into town, it’s an hour trip! 2. If you’re in a tent, camp land-side. While we loved the oceanfront, the wind & unpredictable rain was a little harsh once the sun goes down. Nothing wrong with the site, but it was very difficult keeping things dry with the ocean winds blowing the rain in every direction. It was much calmer in between the trees :) Kristopher has done beautiful work to his property and it is truly a slice of paradise. Thank you for showing us the way life should be <3

Kristopher's land on the ocean front is just beautiful! He has kept it simple, but orderly, with great space between the sites - at least while I was there it was only me and another couple in the main ocean front area. The view out on the water is awesome, looking out on many different islands. I was able to get my sea kayak down the stairs to the rocky beach as the stairs were in great condition, and kayaked for hours around the neighboring islands thanks to a quiet morning sea. This is right at the start of the Bold Coast so begins to give that wild feeling that only grows as you head north, but mellows when you head south. Nearby is the Great Nass Island Preserve with an absolutely beautiful - and rugid - 4.5 mile loop hike giving you the best of Maine nature. Bring your hiking boots. Kristopher was a quiet but nicely present host who clearly loves his land and what he had done with it. I'll be back again, and so obviously I highly recommend this special camping spot!

Kristopher’s himself is one of the crowning features of our stay. But the view, the chance meeting of another camper, the proximity of the beach ( down a path from the site mind you - the photo makes it look like you on the actual beach) and the sheer sanctity were also factors in our memorable stay. This place is a keeper. We will be coming again.

The stay at Kristopher's property was amazing. Our first time to Maine did not disappoint. They views were beautiful and the location was incredibly peaceful. Met the host the first day and he was incredibly friendly and inviting. 10/10 stay if you are looking for a remote quiet location to spend a few days.

Gorgeous, peaceful, oceanfront view of all of Western Bay. Site was tucked behind a bunch of alders for great privacy. Perfect to keep my excitable dog. We both relaxed and soaked in the sun and fog. The site was flat and had 2 firepits and wide open space for lots of options to pop my tent. A campervan would love it, too.
