Come relax on this private 5 acre waterfront escape. A long driveway will open up into a cleared lot. The end of the driveway is a large crushed gravel parking pad which should easily accommodate any RV or trailer (make sure you back in, there's no room to turn around). The pad is mostly flat, but minor leveling on RV's is probably still needed. Site overlooks Flanders Bay which feeds into Mount Desert Narrows. Watch the family of 5 eagles fly back and forth across the cove and bring binoculars to watch them as they perch in nearby trees. The cove is filled with a variety of seabirds and the occasional harbor seal. You will have complete quiet as you listen to the sounds of forest and coastal life.Property is located 11 miles from Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National park and a quick 35 miles from Bar Harbor. From May through mid November, site includes access to a HOT outdoor shower, well water, a working sink with hot water. Water is turned off after November 15th until late spring, weather dependent. NEW THIS YEAR- we have installed a 50/30 AMP hookup for trailers/RV's - we do charge $15 extra per night for hookups, please coordinate with us at time of booking if you will need power for your camper - There is an electric outlet for small electronics like laptops/phones/coffee pot, site includes a campfire area, lots of open spaces to pitch a tent, and an outhouse. This truly is a private oasis. We did not see a single person when staying at Raphaele’s land! The view of the water was awesome, but with a quick hike through the mossy forest you’re down by the water for an even better view. We took our camper trailer, beware you do have to back in from the road with trailers, but it was worth it. We were able to watch harbor seals catching fish at high tide, and the birding is amazing with forest and ocean birds in the same view. The outdoor shower was great, and the sink was nice to wash dishes in. For our camper we had electricity and water. This is a really cool spot with great views and animal activity. I highly recommend if you like privacy and the great outdoors!

Rating: ★★★★★ (10/10) Eagle View Coastal Campground offers an incredible experience filled with privacy and natural beauty. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the seclusion was so profound that it created a wonderfully eerie atmosphere at night! One of the highlights of our trip was the outdoor shower—it was simply spectacular, providing an unforgettable open-air bathing experience with breathtaking views of the night sky. Speaking of views, the scenery from the property was nothing short of stunning, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers. We chose this campsite as our base while visiting Acadia National Park, and while it was about a 40-minute drive from the visitor center, the journey was absolutely worth it. Just a heads up for future visitors: the electric hookup is quite a distance from the campsite. Make sure to bring a long extension cord; we ended up connecting two to reach our camper. It would be a nice enhancement if a long extension cord was provided on site for convenience. Overall, I highly recommend Eagle View Coastal Campground. The privacy, views, and outdoor amenities make it a top-notch destination for camping enthusiasts. We loved every moment of our time there!

What a lovely spot! Private, well-kept, charming, quiet, and centrally located. The biggest highlight for us was our pup being able to be off-leash and run around on the large, lush lawn. Next highlight was the outdoor shower (yes, the water is hot!). A great place to explore Acadia while also having privacy and your own coastal view.

Absolutely beautiful location. We set up our tent facing the water and just sat there for hours. So peaceful and calm, and very private. In the morning there were guys out clamming in the mud at low tide. Also if you are a birder you will be in shorebird HEAVEN! Having a sink and shower with hot water was amazing. We loved our night here and would definitely recommend.

My son and I stayed 2 nights with our tiny camper & a tent, and enjoyed this site more than another other site we stayed at on our 9-day Maine adventure. The views were amazing, and we spent time walking out during low tide, birding and exploring. The campsite itself has an outdoor shower, an outhouse, and an outdoor sink - all super convenient. Honestly the shower was better than ones we had at big campgrounds. We loved having the entire site to ourselves. Raphaele is a great host, very communicative, & was very helpful as we planned our stay. Only 40 minutes from Bar Harbor, the site was in the perfect location. On my next Maine trip I will try to book a few more days here as a base to explore Acadia and the surrounding area.

Beautiful spot. We enjoyed every moment staying at this property. We hope to return soon. The outside shower and kitchen definitely made our stay easier. Plus the electrical hook up . Absolutely recommend this spot.

Great place to stay! Our pup loved his stay - relaxing on the grass, but also investigating the shore. Nice pad for our Aliner, sink with potable water, shower, and fire ring were all appreciated. Would definitely stay again - a fantastic offering!

This is the most beautiful, peaceful, secluded and comfortable campsite I’ve been to! Access to what feels like your own private beach to launch a paddleboard, kayak, etc, and plenty in the surrounding area to explore. I am used to quite wild camping so it felt like such a luxury to get that experience while also having an outdoor shower and sink to wash dishes with warm water! A truly beautiful experience. The host is so kind and considerate. Thank you for sharing your land with us!

Great view of the water especially watching the tides come in and out, private, and perfect for an unleashed dog. Saw eagles land on the tree right by camp. Decent drive to Arcadia. Hot water was and bathroom were good and convenient. The ground is uneven closer to the water so might need to move the tent to find the right spot and was buggy but that is going to be everywhere.

We loved Raphaele’s land! We spent 3 days there, one of them being spent at Acadia. It was so awesome to come back and have a Hot Shower after a long day. GPS takes you past the driveway - it’s the drive with the red buoy! We have a 35 foot bus and we def needed to back down the drive as there is nowhere to turn around. Nice to have an outhouse, land to have adventure walks and the sunset casts a beautiful pink and purple sky over the water. We would for sure go back!

Great place to stay. Very quiet and secluded and super hot showers! We spent a majority of our time in Acadia. About 40-45 minutes drive time. It is off season- which was great, I imagine a bit longer in peak season. Raphaele is very responsive, in a timely fashion.

Great location and private. The space however is not quiet and peaceful as you get the route 1 traffic. Outdoor shower and sink were very nice, but the outhouse was not as clean as I'd have hoped for at the cost of this space. Also, for the price of each night, to then also charge $1.50 per piece of wood for the fire pit seemed a bit excessive, but I guess it's a sign of the times and a way to capitalize on the touristy nature of the area these days.

Second time visiting. Perfect spot to spend multiple days. I came up during the work week, tethered to my iPhone for internet (Verizon cell service is strong), plugged in to the electric outlets, and worked outside for a couple of days. The views are amazing, there’s a great outdoor shower, and the outdoor sink makes camp cooking cleanup super easy. Will definitely be back again!

Gorgeous site, as everyone else says the shower IS amazing!! The traffic noise is a little loud in a tent if that bothers you (it didn't bother us though), but the only downside. We tried kayaking and it is not the best launch, but the perfect site for relaxing and watching the birds!

Beautiful private location. Excellent views, nice shower and water/power make this a great campsite. Finding a level spot for the tent takes time, but it’s worth it. The large deck for chilling/cooking is wonderful and the view? A+ yes you can hear the road, but I don’t think there’s anywhere free from the sounds of man in the area. It is remote enough that it’s very peaceful late and early. Host is friendly, responsive and thoughtful.

We enjoyed our RV stay. The site was beautiful, well maintained and the location was perfect. The host was very responsive to our questions for recommendations for spots to visit places to eat! Occasionally you could hear the road noise but it was not intrusive and we did not mind it at all.
