We had the best time at this site. The views were absolutely incredible. We had better sunset views from the campsite than we even would in Acadia. Having the water, electric plug, and bathroom on site was so helpful, too. We ended up tent camping, but the little house was such an added perk, too for storage, spending time together, etc. I can’t recommend this spot enough!!

All I can say is wow!! I booked the camp for 4 days but was really only thinking I would stay for 2-3 and thought...what the heck, if I like it I could stay the 4 days. By day 2, I never wanted to leave. The place was incredible. The stars at night were so amazing that I didn't watch any TV or get on my phone the entire time. I can't wait to go again next year!!
The camp was perfect!!! Just enough roughing it to feel like I was camping but also just enough glamp to not make me feel like I was full on camping. Absolutely perfect!!

Beautiful spot! Lovely breeze coming up from the ocean. Very comfortable and the cabin was full of thoughtful touches. We found some wild strawberries growing and it looks like there will be raspberries or blackberries and blueberries later in the summer. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location with some partial sunset views, perfect cabin for our family of 5 to stay warm and dry. Outhouse was clean and practical. Owners had helpful things in the cabin like drinking water a nice flashlight, and a styrofoam cooler. Loved that it was close to winter harbor and schoodic peninsula.

The space was extremely private, with a nice hilltop view. A fantastic location for star-gazing. The cabin was great: spacious and breezy windows, clean and well-maintained, and well-sealed! No bugs in the cabin at all. Outhouse was similarly clean. No water around, so keep that in mind for fires (nearby scrub is very dry). We were there during a heatwave and the black flies were pretty bad; not sure about bugs in normal weather, but bug spray highly recommended.

I loved this campsite. The cabin was perfect for sleeping and hanging out especially because we did not have great weather. The cabin and the outhouse were both clean and in great condition. I definitely hope to return when there are clearer skies to enjoy the sunrise and stars. The site is huge and quiet. It took us a little under an hour to get there from Gorham mountain. My dog loved exploring the land. Firewood and cooking tools were provided.

We had a nice time for the most time,site very clean and private. The road noise from route 1 below was a bit annoying for me as I live in a quiet place. The most annoying however were the TICKS,even though I wore my full sprayed tick overalls still got bitten

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Alisa’s land and cabin! Alisa was responsive to questions, and the Hipcamp photos and description are an accurate representation of the site. The location was convenient for exploring the Acadia area. We brought camping pads and sleeping bags and slept on the floor of the cabin. A few small things to note, we could not get the solar lights inside the cabin to work, but we had brought our own lights so this was not a big deal. We were also there during an all day heavy rain storm with some intense wind. We left to get lunch in town and when we came back the window above the desk was leaking enough that the floor underneath it was pretty wet and we were worried about our sleeping setup getting wet. I think the wind was the main factor in the window leaking. There was a tarp onsite that we were able use to cover the window from the outside which kept more rain from coming in. But even with the leaking window we were happy to be in the cabin rather than a tent!

This is a gorgeous spot outside of Acadia national Park. The sunsets are incredible. I can’t speak to the cabin as I set up a tent, but I did make my dinner on the fire pit every evening and found plenty of wood on site for the it. The hammock was a really nice place to relax after a long hike too. I would return to this site in a heartbeat!

Beautiful distant view of the ocean. Wide open space is great for the dog to run around. Rustic cabin is tiny but sweet! I love the design. Loved the fold down desk at the lovely window. I only wish there had been a second chair so we could play games. when cold or rainy. The picnic table is great. Outhouse is comfortable and close. We were cold mid october but we kind if expected that. The futon is much smaller than it appears in the photos. It seemed smaller than a full, larger than a twin and very very firm. We left a night early because the sleeping was too uncomfortable for us, but it would work well for young folks. Bring not only flashlights, but a lantern for inside. There were stringed lights, but they did not function. There were some other helpful supplies there, but everything needed batteries which we didn't bring. I would love to return now that i know exactly what to bring and i hope this helps future guests. I would also buy wood nearby because you will quickly burn through the dead wood that you pick up around the site. You need some nice dry hardwood to keep your campfire going. This setting is peaceful and relaxing. Lots of privacy. Great way to avoid the crowds of Bar Harbor.

I loved hipcaming at Alisa’s cabin. The views were amazing and it was affordable. We just brought an air mattress to sleep in the cabin and blankets because it gets cold at night. This is a great place to stay on the Schoodic side of Acadia national park.

Beautiful spot! We absolutely fell in love with the sunset view here. Very cozy, romantic, easy to get to, and the cabin smelled lovely like fresh pine. The futon was comfy and the vibes were great.

This was a great setup for our 1 night camp out. I leant camping, but sometimes a cabin is nice too. I brought cots to sleep on but the floor would work too, and there’s a futon available.

I booked this to make sure we would have shelter in case it rained (it didn't). It's a cute little cabin with one futon, so definitely bring your own sleeping bags/blankets, etc. The porta potty was very stinky - really needed to be dumped. There was plenty of dry twigs from trees but not a lot of logs to keep the fire going, so would recommend grabbing a few before you arrive (there were tons of "free/cheap" wood along the drive).
