Come relax on this private 5 acre waterfront escape. A long driveway will open up into a cleared lot. The end of the driveway is a large crushed gravel parking pad which should easily accommodate any RV or trailer (make sure you back in, there's no room to turn around). The pad is mostly flat, but minor leveling on RV's is probably still needed. Site overlooks Flanders Bay which feeds into Mount Desert Narrows. Watch the family of 5 eagles fly back and forth across the cove and bring binoculars to watch them as they perch in nearby trees. The cove is filled with a variety of seabirds and the occasional harbor seal. You will have complete quiet as you listen to the sounds of forest and coastal life.Property is located 11 miles from Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National park and a quick 35 miles from Bar Harbor. From May through mid November, site includes access to a HOT outdoor shower, well water, a working sink with hot water. Water is turned off after November 15th until late spring, weather dependent. NEW THIS YEAR- we have installed a 50/30 AMP hookup for trailers/RV's - we do charge $15 extra per night for hookups, please coordinate with us at time of booking if you will need power for your camper - There is an electric outlet for small electronics like laptops/phones/coffee pot, site includes a campfire area, lots of open spaces to pitch a tent, and an outhouse. Enjoy ease of huge, level gravel pad. Includes a 2 sided privacy structure to hang an outside shower bag (bring water & bag). Branch lake is right across the main road (but more like driving distance than walking). 15 mins to Ellsworth, 30 to Bar Harbor. No bathrooms, bring water, take your trash. This is a huge level gravel pad up a long dirt driveway. Travel down a dirt road about 1 mile to find your oasis in nature. 4 wheel drive is not required but necessary if you bring an RV (please use 4 wheel drive when going up the driveway if you’re towing to avoid creating ruts in the drive way. A car will make it down the dirt road and up the semi-steep drive way. PLEASE DRIVE SLOW to respect the road and preserve the undercarriage of your car. Please bring everything you need for a great stay and take everything with you when you depart. The pad will accommodate multiple tents, a small to medium sized RV and 4-5 cars. There are no onsite amenities. Please bring your water and plan to take your trash with you. The area is lush and green and the stars are bright at night. Any fallen trees are yours to use for firewood. You can also take any small branches from the brush piles. We just ask that you do not cut down any other trees on the property. You have 13 acres all to yourself. There are a few short trails that lead to the rear of the property but they are very short and not maintained paths. Guests interactions: You are on your own! We will observe the property after your checkout. Please take everything with you and do not burn trash in the fire ring. There are nearby ATV trails. If you bring ATVs, kindly ask that you drive them carefully on our gravel pad, driveway, and dirt road (drive slow, no donuts please :)) Dogs are welcome! Bring your friends. Take your trash. Please respect our nature and pack it out if you pack it in. That includes anything you may or may not do in the woods. Do not leave tissue paper or piles of #2 on the paths. Use a bag, pack it out. We do not provide anything besides the space to pop a tent. Bring a hand saw to cut wood!

A gracefully designed switchback driveway leads you to a cleared level landing. The spot is elevated nestled in among hardwood trees where you can pitch a tent or park a self-contained RV (No larger than 24'). Due to the switchback design of the driveway, a combination car/truck and towed camper configuration will not work. It's a two minute walk to the neighborhood association dock, 10 minute walk to the open ocean and rugged Maine coastline. East Boothbay is quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. Be sure to stop by East Boothbay General Store for delicious house made breakfast and lunch sandwiches, salads, pizza, a selection of beers and wine; eat in on the small porch or take away for a picnic. Walk or bike along the narrow quiet road to the ocean where waves are crashing on the rocks. Don't miss the gorgeous sunsets-simply spectacular. Or just relax at the site and enjoy the beauty of the nature that surrounds you where you might spot a deer or hear an owl hooting nearby. It's a short 10 minute drive to Boothbay Harbor for whale and puffin watches, great restaurants, sunset and reggae cruises, and sailing trips. The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is another must see-as it's New England's largest botanical garden.

While I didn't personally get to enjoy my overnight stay here due to unforeseen circumstances with my car, Ashley was responsive and also very helpful with my campsite. I was able to get in without any issues, as the instructions were very clear. When my car broke down on the way to a hike after I had set up my campsite, Ashley was willing tear everything down and store it off to the side for me. I am very grateful that there are still good people in the world, and just based on this experience with Ashley, I would highly recommend staying here!

We loved camping at Kilene's hipcamp site. You feel like you are in the forest nestled in the trees and yet only a short walk or bike ride to the ocean. The fire pit was perfect with plenty of downed wood provided by Kilene. The directions provided were spot on, easy to follow and our host was always prompt to respond to messages. We give it a 10 out of 10!

This truly is a private oasis. We did not see a single person when staying at Raphaele’s land! The view of the water was awesome, but with a quick hike through the mossy forest you’re down by the water for an even better view. We took our camper trailer, beware you do have to back in from the road with trailers, but it was worth it. We were able to watch harbor seals catching fish at high tide, and the birding is amazing with forest and ocean birds in the same view. The outdoor shower was great, and the sink was nice to wash dishes in. For our camper we had electricity and water. This is a really cool spot with great views and animal activity. I highly recommend if you like privacy and the great outdoors!

The camp site was absolutely wonderful! Surrounded by trees of red and brown it was a beautiful site to spend time in. Right around the corner was Boothbay harbor where we rode our bikes and watched the sunset. And the fire pit was a lovely place to end the day. I will definitely be coming back here again! Kilene is a wonderful host and person! Could not recommend more!

Rating: ★★★★★ (10/10) Eagle View Coastal Campground offers an incredible experience filled with privacy and natural beauty. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the seclusion was so profound that it created a wonderfully eerie atmosphere at night! One of the highlights of our trip was the outdoor shower—it was simply spectacular, providing an unforgettable open-air bathing experience with breathtaking views of the night sky. Speaking of views, the scenery from the property was nothing short of stunning, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers. We chose this campsite as our base while visiting Acadia National Park, and while it was about a 40-minute drive from the visitor center, the journey was absolutely worth it. Just a heads up for future visitors: the electric hookup is quite a distance from the campsite. Make sure to bring a long extension cord; we ended up connecting two to reach our camper. It would be a nice enhancement if a long extension cord was provided on site for convenience. Overall, I highly recommend Eagle View Coastal Campground. The privacy, views, and outdoor amenities make it a top-notch destination for camping enthusiasts. We loved every moment of our time there!

A rendezvous with the cosmos was the theme this year. We ran, dashed, sacrificed and stressed to make eyes for Cygnus across celestial clouds ISS flyovers and planets penetrating the atmosphere. Ursas major and minor foraged amongst the fireflies while we all shifted from Pisces to Aquarius over and over again. The fowl are a feature, the ruminations left to the cloven and the swine a smile every time. A fair time was not had in any sense this time. Our budget denied us Common Ground, but our accommodations were AAA. After a day in Stephen King country, I’ll leave the speculation of what beast was snorting in the field the following morning to you.

This was a great site! Super clean and it's secluded enough so you have privacy but there are other homes (can't hear your neighbors or see their houses from the site) and the street nearby to ensure you feel safe. I saw a handful of cars the whole time I was there. It did not affect my stay, at all. The pictures are a great representation of the site. The firepit was awesome and Kilene gathered wood for me which was really nice! The site was super quiet and I could enjoy the sounds of the birds and the wind in the trees. At night, no light pollution, and I slept great! The loop that Kilene mentions, which brought me by the landing and the ocean was perfect for my pup and I. Don't miss this..the beach and views are absolutely gorgeous.The site is also close to Boothbay Craft Brewery, which was AWESOME and I could bring my dog, as well. Kilene was lovely to communicate with and I will absolutely be back!!
