Learn more about this land: Private 1.5 acre field off of Staples Point Road, 3 miles from downtown Freeport, 1 mile to Winslow Park. Field is surrounded mostly by forrest, only non-drinking water provided from the garden hose at the entrance to the field. Water is shut off late October through the winter but the site is available. Whatever you bring in, you take out; garbage, human waste, etc. There is a camp fire with benches, plenty of fire wood and a luggable loo if needed.Private 1.5 acre field off of Staples Point Road, 3 miles from downtown Freeport, 1 mile to Winslow Park. Field is surrounded mostly by forrest, only non-drinking water provided. What you bring in, you take out.

Allowed rigs: travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, pop-up campers, class B RVs, campervans, cars, truck campers, and rooftop tents
Pull-in site
Second right on Staples Point Road before the sharpe turn and before the split rail wood fence. There is an opening to enter the field and a stake in the ground marking the parking spot where the ground is more firm. To the left of the parking is the potable water source. Next to the stake you will find the luggable loo as well as extra bags for disposing of everything off site.

Portable toilet. Luggable loo! There is a bucket, toilet seat and compostable bags for you to dispose of off site. Please be clean and tidy and respectful for the campers that stay with us after you. What you bring in, you also bring out with you.
Pets allowed
On leash. We have dogs, please keep an eye on yours. It’s not a fenced in area so leashes are recommended.
No potable water
Bring your own water, purify from spigot. We have a spigot provided, water is clean, but should not be used to drink.

When I was there I had the whole field to myself, it was quiet, peacefull, spacious, and there was plenty of firewood. The host was friendly and communicative. Absolutely would stay again!

Jay's field was a perfect spot for us to camp for the night on our way home. We needed a simple and private pit stop and this place was it. The road is on is pretty quiet leaving the field to be secluded.

Jay’s land was super private. I was only camper there over 2 acres all to myself and I was able to make a fire. He had Firewood and it was very peaceful and pleasant. Jays is a great host., if I’m ever in that area again, which I will be I’ll be sure to stay there again thanks so much. Jay great place.

My dogs and I loved this spot. It's easy to get to, as it's right off the road. There is some road noise but nothing that bothered me. Jay was very nice and made sure we made it in alright. The directions were perfect and easy to follow. There was plenty of firewood to make for a wonderful night. We had a great time and we will be back in a month!

Jay's property is situated in a nice quiet field with lots of parking options. Trees boarder the perimeter, so you can always be in the shade or if you prefer, always be in the sun. Wild turkey and their poults visited in the early morning. They startle easily, so move slowly and be quiet when observing.

Had a great stay on a beautiful fall weekend. Dogs loved running around the big open field after each other and balls. Great brewery 1 mile walk down the road that’s dog friendly so that was a bonus.
