Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose.
Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. Wandering Pines is a little slice of magic in the Great North Woods of New Hampshire. Our sites range in size and privacy and offer field or wooded land. The sites are near our Small House on 5 acres but far enough away to feel private. We currently have 2 large campsites, 5 primitive walk in sites, 3 Pick your own sites, 3 park and sleep sites and 2 RV camper sites. If our sites are booked, please message me. We have a ton of space and can accommodate you somewhere!
During the warmer months(April-Early December) all the sites have access to water and a primitive outhouse and handwashing/dishwashing station. Firewood can be purchased. Please check our extras for other items for purchase.
We have wetlands and overgrown fields so there may be bugs and other animals at any given time. Bug spray is recommended.
Although black bears are generally shy and usually avoid humans, they are opportunistic and will search for human food supplies when natural foods are not available. Maintaining a sustainable bear population in New Hampshire depends on minimizing human-bear conflicts. It is illegal to intentionally feed bears in New Hampshire. Intentional feeding can create problems within residential areas and can result in fines. It also may threaten the life of the bear, if it becomes a nuisance animal as a result of this feeding. Please keep your food in your car when you are not at the site and when you are sleeping.
The property has views of Mount Martha and the Presidential Mountain Range. There are easy walking trails throughout the property. There is a field to play games; Soccer, wiffle ball, corn hole and yard croquet can be used. Just ask

Located in Bethlehem at the top of the White Mountains close to endless hiking and biking. Both downtown Bethlehem and Littleton are within a 15 minute drive, supplying many choices for food and shopping.
Rainy and need more options? Take the beautiful 1 hour drive east on 302 to North Conway and visit the big outlet stores. If the weather is better, and you want a more scenic way there with hiking -- take the 25 minute drive down to Lincoln and travel the amazing Kancamangus Scenic Byway (Route 112). This is 35 miles through the White Mountains with no gas stations, so you might want to top off while in Lincoln.
Thirty minutes east is the Mount Washington Cog Railway, and you will pass the historic Mount Washington Hotel on the way. Fifteen minutes south and you can be at Franconia Notch State Park.

Camp Ebb and Flow is located on the western edge of the White Mountains, near the crossing of the Appalachian Trail and a short drive to VT. Three lakes nearby for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Hiking trails nearby. The camp offers RV sites with water, electricity, and sewer, an RV site with no hookups, and several tent sites. One of the tent sites has water and electricity and another has electricity with nearby water. There is bathhouse with two toilets and two vanities as well as a shower with changing room. Potable water is also available from a spigot at the bathhouse. There are over six acres of mowed fields for activities and walking. There is also a lovely brook running through the property with many areas you can cool off in from the summer heat.
This property has a lengthy history going back to colonial times.
It’s been a farm, an apple orchard, and once had a sawmill.
Please check the calendar for available dates.
Check-in is no later than 9pm unless late arrival arrangements have been made prior to booking. Whenever possible, try to arrive before dark because there are no lights at most sites, which can make setup difficult.
A note regarding electric vehicles (EV):
If you have an electric vehicle and would like to tent camp, please select one of our full hookup RV sites. If you have the proper electric adapter for your vehicle, you can charge your vehicle at the 30A RV plug while tenting in the field near the RV site. We do not supply these adapters, and we cannot allow you to charge your vehicle unless you have reserved an RV site with full hookups.

This is a 200 year old farm filled with life. There are well groomed areas and other more wild areas. We are on almost 13 acres of land that attracts all forms of natural wildlife. In addition, we have alpacas, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, a cat and chickens. There is a beaver pond on the lower property.
Each site includes a place to sit and eat (ie. picnic table), fire pit and just breathtaking views. Campers can drive into and park at their site. Each site is separate and private from other sites.

We have a farm store offering a variety of items for sale including eggs, honey, rubs and much more. There is a microwave available to the campers in the farm store as well. Each site will be given a bundle of fire wood on the house, additional wood is for sale. You are welcome to participate in farm work. Coffee (from a local NH roaster), tea, hot chocolate and potable water (from the faucet) will be available daily. We are a farm family with young children so large and rowdy or drinking parties are very heavily discouraged.

Not far from the foundation of one of the more established farmsteads of the era, this campsite is tucked away from the road down by the rushing Bull Branch of the Sunday River. Explore endless mountains streams, trails to the Appalachian Trail, and remote dirt roads in the heart of the Mahoosucs from your secluded walk-in low impact tent site with privy. Deep swimming holes and trout fishing beckon.
There are five sites in total. Hillside, Riverside and Fireside each have a picnic table, they all share a fire pit and a privy and are on the side of the road closest to the river. Main Eastside and the North site also share a fire pit and privy, Main Eastside has a picnic table, these two sites are across the street from the river which is just a short walk away.
Riverside: a more secluded site and closest to the river

A unique glamping getaway nestled on a mountainside, near Evans Notch in North Chatham, NH. We have three 10x12 glamping tents tucked away in the forest behind our home. Private and tranquil, each tent has a queen sized bed, with flannel sheets, front porch with 2 Adirondack chairs, 2 camp blankets, a fire pit, picnic table, and the basic cook wear and utensils for meals over a campfire. Follow the camp path to our wooded sanctuary, sleep among the trees, and unwind!

The Bower is located at the edge of the White Mountain National Forest, with its endless outdoor recreation options. It's a 10 minute drive to charming downtown Littleton with dining, breweries, shopping, seasonal farmers market, and Ammonoosuc River trail. 25 minute drive to Franconia Notch State Park, with access to Cannon Mountain skiing, Mirror Lake swimming, the Flume Gorge and Basin trails on the Pemi River, and 800,000+ acres of White Mountain National Forest hiking that includes Appalachian Trail access. 30 minute drive to the start of the Kancamagus Scenic Byway, which is gorgeous in any season and famous for fall colors. 50 minute drive to Mount Washington, highest peak in the White Mountains, with its famous auto road and cog railway to the summit (summit road open summer only).

A one word review would truly represent The Queens Property on Thomas Pond; IDEAL! Daniel, the host, was extremely accommodating to our last minute getaway. The site is perfectly laid out for RV ease and convenience. The trails to the pond and dock made our dogs so happy and they thoroughly tuckered out swimming. We will be returning without a doubt. Once again Dan, Thank you creating such a beautiful RV and camping sanctuary!

My friends and I had a lovely, peaceful weekend staying at Sandi and Brandon’s property! The tent was roomy and equipped with everything we could have needed. We had some chilly and wet weather, but we stayed dry and cozy in the tent with the wood stove going. We loved watching the horses graze in the pasture in the evening and getting a tour of the barn. We also enjoyed walking the trails on the property. They were very welcoming hosts, but we also had a lot of privacy, and we would not hesitate to visit again!

We loved the star gazing site 1! The views are beautiful. The property was awesome. There was a ton to do especially with young kids. The hosts built a very cool fairy playground along the creek. Childhood heaven. It was nice having our dogs off leash. The camping sites were very well maintained. We had an overall amazing experience and commend Nick for his kindness and integrity. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

We had the BEST time at Sacred Nectar. Site #2 is tucked away in the woods and made the best home base for the weekend for our group. Definitely one of the best camp spots in New England. Nick is a thoughtful and generous host and I can't wait to come back soon!

As always we had a fantastic time at Maudie’s! Without a doubt our favorite Hipcamp, remote enough for complete silence, and amazing stargazing. but close enough to small towns to nip into for essentials. Maudie’s checking procedures are easy to follow, and make for a perfect start to a weekend getaway! If you get the opportunity take it! You won’t be disappointed.

I had a wonderful stay on John’s property. The site was high above the banks of The Mighty Androscoggin River. We drove across a huge field to get to there, it had a lovely fire pit and a well placed porta potty. There were some great trails and excellent bird watching. What impressed me most was John’s foresight in acquiring the land, parcel by parcel to preserve the open space and natural landscape. It’s very precious I’ll be back.

My first time solo camping and this experience was amazing! Maudie is a great host, very responsive and helpful. Great place to go stargazing and sit by the fire. Area in the woods is beautiful for short hikes all around property. Definitely will come back!

Beautiful area and a very well kept, private site.
Hookups are well maintained and well placed for easy access. The lake is gorgeous with both open water as well as beautiful wetlands to explore. We saw Loons, many songbirds and a bald eagle soaring!
Dan, the host, was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. He checked in daily to make sure we were all set and to see if we needed anything.
I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a beautiful place to spend time and relax. I hope to be back someday!

We absolutely loved our stay on Streeter Mountain's land. We stayed in the treehouse. It was so private and absolutely gorgeous. It was by far our favorite place to stay through Hipcamp so far and we have stayed in several places.

This is such a hidden treasure I almost don’t want to share how beautiful it was. From creature comforts like a wood stove in the tent, supplies for cooking, dishes, extra blankets and the cutest and cleanest outhouse you’ve probably ever seen. Sandi’s thought of everything! I overpacked. The property is rustic, gorgeous, well maintained and coming to life with even better amenities. Camping on steroids with animals, adorable dogs, and wonderful humans.

I thoroughly enjoyed my camping experience at Streeters! The setup is awesome and my only regret is that I was only there for the night and couldn’t stay longer to check out the trails. This is an excellent spot and should be sought out. Do yourself a favor and check this spot out!
