Welcome to a serene, campsite tucked in to a private forest overlooking a cascading brook, dappled with sunlight, surrounded by towering trees. Set up camp and let the your immersion in nature begin.
Whether you're enjoying a morning coffee by the fire or streaming music under the stars, this is a space to both unwind and reconnect. As one guest put it:
"Very nice spot overlooking a brook with an amazing fire location (calling it a pit doesn't begin to describe it)." – Mike R.
Explore our private nature trail that winds along the brook to the beaver pond. Many of the Hemlock trees you will pass are between 150 to 300 years old. This forest is moist and cool and supports a diverse ecosystem, teaming with life. On hot days, cool off with a refreshing dip in the natural pool along the way.
Though you’ll feel miles from anywhere—strong WiFi helps give peace of mind, whether you're working remotely, staying in touch with loved ones, or stargazing with a soundtrack.

The region is rich with outdoor adventure—hiking and mountain biking trails, paddling on rivers and lakes, and scenic views at every turn. The Cotton Valley Rail Trail is just a short drive away.

Wildlife is abundant here. You may spot deer, turkeys, beavers, bald eagles, snapping turtles, porcupines, otters, bears, bobcats, ducks and herons, to name a few. Our neighbor’s cows, pigs, horses, and donkeys are often visible across the road. We also have two friendly dogs (a beagle and a shih tzu) who may bark when they spot new guests, but keep to themselves.
We live just up the drive in a solar-powered log cabin—close enough for support, but out of view. We'll greet you on arrival, then the site is all yours to enjoy.
