Immerse yourself in a century old Hemlock and Beech forest overlooking a spring fed mountain brook as it cascades around granite boulders. The biodiversity here is thriving and some of the trees are as old as the country. The site is set up to be easy from the minute you pull in. We have a single, private site- it's wide, level, scratch-free, with a granite firepit, firewood for purchase on site, a fast dry double hammock, a live edge picnic table, screaming WiFi, a kid friendly target game, no limitations on generator use and a mile of private trails. The firepit is a stunning spot to settle in on the Adirondack chairs and enjoy a crackling fire tucked in the towering trees and moss. The sound of the brook Is an ASMR dream and you may see a heron, a bald eagle or a mink who are regular visitors. While you’ll feel miles from civilization, our high-speed WiFi allows for seamless remote work, stargazing with a soundtrack or streaming your favorite shows on a rainy day. New for 2026, we have doubled our private trail system! The trails on either side of the brook wander through both sides of our property to secluded spots where you can see the remains of a beaver lodge and dam (currently between occupants). Our game cameras regularly capture porcupines, bobcats, owls, herons, otters, eagles, and just about every eastern woodland animal and bird you can imagine. This spring there is a bald eagle who fishes in front of the cabin most days. We are Brad and Christine and we live further up the driveway in our solar-powered log cabin. While you may catch glimpses of the red cabin or solar array through the trees, we honor your privacy while being nearby in case you need something. We don't overlook the site directly, and you can't see us beyond the occasional glimpse or on the trails passing closer to the buildings. We drive down the driveway past the site if we are leaving or returning home, which we minimize when we have guests. We are located two miles down a gravel road, 2 miles off Rt. 16, you are 15 minutes from groceries, pharmacies, EV charging, gas, and a local campground who can arrange for you to dump your tanks. We are in East Wolfeboro, a half hour drive to Downtown. Historic Portsmouth, NH and the Maine coast are an hour away.Brookside Serenity is a private, off-grid boondocking site for self-contained Tents and RVs. Wildlife is abundant here. You may spot deer, turkeys, beavers, bald eagles, snapping turtles, porcupines, otters, bears, bobcats, ducks and herons, mink, to name a few. Our neighbor’s cows, pigs, horses, and donkeys that are often visible across the road. We also have two friendly dogs (a beagle and a shitzu) who may bark when they spot new guests, or if wild life is visible to them, but keep to themselves otherwise. We live just up the drive in a solar-powered log cabin—close enough for support. A sliver of our solar array and red cabin can be glimpsed through the trees. We'll greet you on arrival, then the site is all yours to enjoy. We do use the driveway, but we work at home and often stay home for days at a time.

Firewood provided, firepit, private. Wood available for $7 a bundle at a kiosk on site. In case of fire ban, propane insert will be in the firepit with propane provided. A water bucket, tongs, and telescoping marshmallow roasting sticks are available for use. We have a firewood bundle self serve kiosk with payment instructions on site.
Pets allowed
On leash. Please keep your dog on a leash unless they are totally under your control. We have porcupines that graze on our clover lawn during the summer, they don't go down to the campsite, but they camoflage well and you don't want your dog to investigate with their noses or they will be quilled, which usually requires emergency vet attention. It's never happened, and we want it to stay that way. We have two elderly dogs, a beagle and a shitzu. They free range up around the cabin, but won't go to the site. Thanks for understanding.

Carry out all camp waste. No burying waste on site please the ground is almost undigable due to the density of roots and rocks. See rules section for toilet options that you can pack in pack out.* Toilet Options: * Luggable Loo ($25–40): A 5-gallon bucket with a snap-on toilet seat and waste bag liner. Simple, sturdy, and widely available. * Cassette Toilet ($100–150): A self-contained, flushable toilet with a sealed waste tank. Comfortable and low-odor, but heavier. * Privacy Tent Options: * Pop-up privacy shelters ($30–80) create a quick outdoor bathroom space. Look for “privacy tent” or “camp shower tent” at amazon, camping supply * Bag & Odor Control Tips: * Use double-bagging: a compostable toilet bag or waste-specific gel bag inside a thick contractor bag. * Add pine pellets, sawdust, or coco coir (garden center or pet store) between uses to absorb moisture and odor. * Seal bags with zip ties and store used ones in a tight-lid tote or bin until you get home. * Supplies found at camping stores, hardware stores, or farm/pet supply shops.

What a hidden gem! We had the best time staying here. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The property is beautiful, and you can tell they put a lot of thought and care into every detail. We loved finding benches placed at scenic spots and chairs gathered around the fire pit, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. One of our favorite features was the incredible stone wall. I love cooking over a fire, and I jokingly referred to it as my own "stone wall kitchen!" It quickly became the centerpiece of our campsite experience. This is the kind of place that feels special the moment you arrive. We’re already looking forward to coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and thoughtfully maintained getaway.

It was such a gift to camp in Christine’s land! We brought our Aliner and parked it next to the beautiful brook. The natural fireplace was perfect and very comfy chairs were provided along with a beautiful wood live edge picnic table. I relaxed in the hammock that was there, and enjoyed hiking on her trails. We will definitely go back. What a treasure!

Oh my goodness, what a lovely, secluded, peaceful place to camp in our Roadtrek! Christine has set up this spot very thoughtfully, from the fire pit with rockers, to the chairs and bench overlooking the babbling brook, to the easy to grab firewood and trail signs. Her highly detailed directions to this place at the end of a gravel road were spot on, as was her speedy communication. My only wish is that we could have spent more time there! Highly recommend. I give 6 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent site we timed the brook perfectly after a heavy rainstorm. When we arrived our host was standing in the pouring rain to help in case we needed it. Brought firewood after the rain stopped and there’s donkeys and horses in the field across from the campsite. Wonderful place.

This was our favorite Hipcamp yet!! Gorgeous, even, RV spot. We have a 24ft rig and had plenty of space. You park right beside the brook (that lulls you to sleep at night). It’s private and very peaceful. We will return for sure! Christine and Brad were accommodating and communicative.

The site was clean level and a really nice setting. The host meet us on arrival and was very welcoming. Due to recent weather the cascade was dry but that that didn't take away from our stay at all. The setting is remote, quiet and made for a nice evening. We would recommend the site for a one-night stay or longer if you like peace and quiet.

Christine’s campsite was nicely laid out super maintained and the fire pit was very nice! The axe /star throwing game was a nice touch as well. We enjoyed the walking path to the beaver dam and the 300 yr old hemlock. Very peaceful back there as well. The site is semi private. Christine’s home is close by but far enough away for privacy. The site is next to their driveway and not too far from the road so you do hear an occasional car go by. But it wasn’t too intrusive. Overall a nice little spot and we enjoyed our time there.

Overall this was a nice spot. I wasn’t told there was no water in the brook until I arrived and had already seen for myself and couldn’t cancel. It was a hot weekend so I was banking on water access. The site is in the middle of nowhere (which was preferred for a quiet experience), but the owners drove by my site (attached to their driveway) over a dozen times in the short time I was there. Dirt bikes also went by. You should know you’re right on the owners property and can see their house easily which took away from the private / in the woods feel.

Christine was very responsive to messages. The land was great unfortunately mother nature had other plans and the brook was a bit dry but could still hear the trickle… Christine graciously let us use her cast-iron and it was very much appreciated. All in all it was a great weekend.

Beautiful setting with everything you could think of… Large boulder enclosed fire pit, comfortable, Adirondack chairs, s'more sticks, ax throwing, a unique live, edged picnic table and even a hammock! Beautiful Secluded Oasis

This Hipcamp has been the best we’ve stayed at so far, and we have stayed at some nice places! It is secluded, but still close to places to explore! The town of Wolfeboro is 30 mins away and there is gas and groceries 15 mins away. I scored a great find at an antique shop 20 mins away as you head towards Wolfeboro. Also, once you hit the main road, Route 16, cross that intersection and there is a fun little ice cream shop and country store. There is also Hobbs Brewery 10 minutes away (seriously, try the food truck there). There’s definitely enough to do in the area to keep you satisfied! When you aren’t busy exploring, there is enough to do back at the campsite, like having a fire in the awesome fire pit with plenty of wood to burn, taking a dip in the stream that your site overlooks, and walking the trail to the beaver dam. We heard a whip-poor-will at night as well as ravens during the day which had this bird nerd pretty excited. My husband watched an otter enjoying himself in the stream but I missed the chance to see him 😞 (next time!). Upon arrival, we let our intrusive thoughts take over, and had to reach out to the host to ensure we weren’t lost (I knew we weren’t but my husband wanted to double check 😏). They promptly responded (communication was great with the hosts), and ensured we were on the right track. Trust the directions that are in Hipcamp use the coordinates provided, they are accurate. The site itself is level and easy to back into with our 12 ft camper.

We had a wonderful time camping by the creek. It is a wonderful combination of secluded, and close to amenities. There were plenty of mosquitos, but we were kept comfortable with citronella candles and keeping ourselves smothered in Lavender essential oils. The host were friendly and engaging, but also respected their guest's privacy. There were only 2 of us, bit the campspot has seating for 6-8 people. All in all, it is a wonderful spot and we hope to visit again next year.

Me and my nephew really enjoyed our stay here the sound of the brook was beautiful. We enjoyed the little hike around their property and seeing the different wild life the WiFi was strong and the water was warm and made for a nice bath we appreciated the onsite wood and hammock and the beautiful fire pit a compostable toilet outhouse in the future would be nice but I will be back

We had a last minute change in plans that opened up some free time to camp. Christine was extremely helpful and quick to respond to our request. The campsite was great and just as described. Upon arrival we were greeted and it is immediately apparent they take great pride in their property and ensuring a quality experience for their guests. I am so envious of this campsite and all of the beautiful (and artistic!) details Brad & Christine have contributed to this bubbling brook oasis. Christine has so much pride and knowledge of the forest that surrounds the site - I learned so much about old forest growth and spongey ground, the array of vegetation growing along the river, the grandeur of 100+ year old trees, and all the wildlife friends in the area. (I felt absolutely honored to have gotten to meet Frank! The areas porcupine! He keeps to himself and usually is up closer to their cabin rather than the site, but was good to know so I could keep the pup leashed and by my side when he was out.) I slept like a baby with the sound of river waterfalls just outside my tent, it was truly such a beautiful sleep. Christine and Brad have been hipcampers themselves, so I loved how much they learned from visits to other camps and poured that love into making this site cozy and memorable. I'll be returning this summer with some friends as the weather heats up, everyone must experience this spot!

This spot is an absolute gem. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I stumbled onto a hidden paradise. The campsite sits alongside a beautiful brook that winds through the property, complete with miniature waterfalls and the peaceful sound of flowing water all day and night. The ground was perfectly level, which made setting up my rooftop tent a breeze. Christine and her husband are incredible hosts—genuinely warm and welcoming. They gave me a tour of their self-sustained cabin and property like we’d been friends for years. One of the most memorable parts was the path they’ve cleared that winds through the woods and leads to a massive 300+ year-old tree and a tranquil pond with a cozy sitting area. It felt like walking into a secret storybook scene. They’ve thought of everything for campers—firepit, firewood, prongs, marshmallow sticks, even a bag to carry it all. They did have Wi-Fi, though I didn’t use it (and didn’t need it). This place lets you unplug and still feel totally taken care of. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with a personal touch, this is the place. Book it—you won’t regret it.

What a beautiful find! We could’ve happily stayed longer, so peaceful next to the creek. They have created an ideal campsite, level parking, perfect firepit with ample wood, comfortable seating, really nice picnic table, and Nature at her most glorious! Our GPS was confused about their exact location, be sure to read the directions completely AND click on the map provided in the hipcamp app, it gives GPS coordinates that are accurate. Even with my mix-ups, the hosts were very accommodating & talked us through. We realized this place was heaven-on-earth as soon as we arrived, and superbly located for those heading towards Acadia. I only wish we had a few extra days… we left wanting more!

Very nice spot overlooking a brook with an amazing fire location (calling it a pit doesn't begin to describe it). Comes with bench at the fire, chairs and a nice picnic table. Pretty flat. Nice and private, and the owners are super nice and responsive.
