Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose.
Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. We are excited to offer this amazing tipi camping experience on our working horse property. The tipi design is the basic Sioux design; the makers of our tipi were chosen to provide all the tipis for the movie Dances with Wolves because of their respect for authenticity and excellent craftsmanship.
The tipi is 18' W x 15' H. Inside, it is roughly 16' in diameter and 13'2" high. It has a 6' entrance with a zippered door and mosquito mesh. There is mosquito netting around the top smoke flaps and a critter guard mesh that covers the bottom circumference where the tipi and floor meet. To keep things warm on those chilly nights or take the edge off the crisp morning air, there is a small wood pellet stove inside.
There is a queen-size futon and plenty of space to sleep on the floor with your own sleeping bags or cots. The maximum occupancy is 6 people. The campsite setup is a mixture of Indigenous and Cowboy Western culture. It features a dining area close to the tipi with a picnic table.
You can relax at the fire pit area beside the Kampfire Cauldron (handmade on-site!) and enjoy cookouts, campfires, and great conversations with friends and family while listening to the calm waters of Giles Brook a few feet away.
Firewood is included in your stay. An outhouse is also located nearby, so you don’t have to entirely "rough it." Potable water can be provided if you do not bring your own.
Local activities include: hiking trails, parks, lakes, horseback rides, kayaking, fishing, motorsports, relaxing by the creek on-site, axe throwing, range, skiing/tubing, and so much more!

Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain.
Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity.
The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so.
The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

New for 2026, we have doubled our private trail system! The trails on either side of the brook wander through both sides of our property to secluded spots where you can see the remains of a beaver lodge and dam (currently between occupants). Our game cameras regularly capture porcupines, bobcats, owls, herons, otters, eagles, and just about every eastern woodland animal and bird you can imagine. This spring there is a bald eagle who fishes in front of the cabin most days.
We are Brad and Christine and we live further up the driveway in our solar-powered log cabin. While you may catch glimpses of the red cabin or solar array through the trees, we honor your privacy while being nearby in case you need something. We don't overlook the site directly, and you can't see us beyond the occasional glimpse or on the trails passing closer to the buildings. We drive down the driveway past the site if we are leaving or returning home, which we minimize when we have guests.
We are located two miles down a gravel road, 2 miles off Rt. 16, you are 15 minutes from groceries, pharmacies, EV charging, gas, and a local campground who can arrange for you to dump your tanks. We are in East Wolfeboro, a half hour drive to Downtown. Historic Portsmouth, NH and the Maine coast are an hour away.

A stunning setting for my rescue animals and I, I found this property in 1996. It has a large barn where my pot-bellied pigs sleep. In the early Bartlett, NH days, it was part of a 40-acre spread owned by one of the oldest families around here, the Garlands.
Enjoy 2 peaceful acres along the beautiful Saco River, featuring a mix of wooded privacy and open field space for tents or small campers. There's NO access to drive down to the river but parking by the house is plentiful and walking down is OK. You will also have access to the clothesline for wet clothing/gear and our fire pit(weather permitting)
There is a rustic outhouse on site with toilet paper, hand sanitizer and water for handwashing. We do not provide trash receptacles! Please take any trash with you: Pack in, Pack out.
Jarred potable water is available inside the tent as well as a spigot at the front of the house for refilling.
***Food is absolutely not allowed in the tent. You must store any food and food containers that you brought with you in your vehicle.
***Absolutely NO Smoking or Vaping is aloud on site!

I really enjoyed camping on Billy’s property. The Mountain View site is aptly named — it offers beautiful mountain views with stunning sunsets and sunrises.
The site has nice pull-offs that make car camping easy, along with plenty of space to pitch a tent. If you enjoy hammocking, there are several great spots for that as well.
Billy is a fantastic host — responsive, accommodating, and genuinely friendly. I would definitely recommend booking with him and enjoying his beautiful property.

It was such a gift to camp in Christine’s land! We brought our Aliner and parked it next to the beautiful brook. The natural fireplace was perfect and very comfy chairs were provided along with a beautiful wood live edge picnic table. I relaxed in the hammock that was there, and enjoyed hiking on her trails. We will definitely go back. What a treasure!

This trip was a wonderful experience. The wood stove kept things nice and warm on the chilly nights. The views in the morning were beautiful and Judy was a great host! I would recommend packing light because the walk down is a little steep, the wheel barrel was Great for that.

This is our second stay at Sweet Song Acres. We love the property and the owners Chiefy and Tina are always so responsive. The property puts you about an hour from Killington and Okemo, Vermont, and about 1.5 hours from Laconia and Lake Winnipesaukee. The river sounds amazing as you’re sitting by the fire and falling asleep.

I really enjoyed this beautiful site, no problem driving back to it in the dry, but after 10 hours of moderate to heavy rain I had some trouble getting out with my stock 4x4 Toyota Tacoma. I did make it but had to stack some rocks under my tires for traction in some slick mud (camp owner says he’s putting gravel down). It was fun to break open a little corner of the big beaver dam and watch the beavers go to work patching it up overnight.

Oh my goodness, what a lovely, secluded, peaceful place to camp in our Roadtrek! Christine has set up this spot very thoughtfully, from the fire pit with rockers, to the chairs and bench overlooking the babbling brook, to the easy to grab firewood and trail signs. Her highly detailed directions to this place at the end of a gravel road were spot on, as was her speedy communication. My only wish is that we could have spent more time there! Highly recommend. I give 6 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was our fourth or fifth time camping at Sacred Nectar Sanctuary, and somehow it gets better every time we visit.
On previous trips, the highlights were the pizza oven and the heated shower. This time, it was the newly enclosed shelter at the Best Site Ever. We didn’t even bother setting up a tent—we slept in the loft and loved every minute of it.
One of my favorite moments was waking up and looking out the full-size window at the beautiful landscape. It was such a peaceful way to start the day and really let us appreciate the property.
We already look forward to coming back every year—hopefully even more often if time allows. We absolutely love this place and hope it remains a Hipcamp for many years to come. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing camping experience. And my niece doesn’t stop taking about Chaga!!

my wife and I recently got into rock hounding we found on line many places to go local but decided to go a little further out to see what was the hype and I must say THIS PLACE IS THE TOTAL HYPE the 2 bothers that own the mine Tom and Joseph made us feel like family they went above and beyond to make sure our first time there was unforgettable from lending us there torch to get my fire started to pushing us out of the mud after heavy rain made it hard to get out . the ceremony site has great views and a really cool and private to campsite. both bothers are always available to answer questions and show you all the cool spots are to find your pickings. we will definitely be making a reservation again a big thank you to Tom and Joe

Loved my stay in the Magick Cabin! Of all of my stays at Sacred Nectar, what struck me the most about this spot is the thought and detail put into it. Even though the weather ended up being quite rainy, there was no better place to experience it. You can see and hear the rain pattering the roof from the loft bed.

This was a beautiful site and the perfect little getaway. The hosts were super responsive and very flexible when we ended up changing dates last minute so to rain. They were easy to get in touch with and really nice folks. I would highly recommend! Like the listing and other reviews say, the hike to the site is rough so pack as lightly as possible.
