Doc's Crossing at Great Brook Camps provides a private site next to Great Brook in Lebanon, NH, while still being close to local amenities in the Upper Valley such as Dartmouth College, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Mascoma Lake, the Lebanon Opera House, the Northern Rail Trail, and many great restaurants in Lebanon and Hanover. Hang out at camp and enjoy a streamside fire, explore the brook, take a soak, or fish for resident wild brook trout. All species of native New Hampshire wildlife abound on our farm — it’s not uncommon to see deer sipping from the brook, or even the occasional bear or turkey. We love this spot on the farm and hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do.Docs Crossing is located at the southern end of our property directly on the banks of Great Brook. It is very private yet just out of sight of the rd. Enjoy a soak in the brook or grab your fishing pole and ply the water for wild brook trout. Enjoy the fire pit just steps from the 12x12 tent platform. There is room for up to a 30’ camper, but no hook ups are available. You are responsible for providing potable water. Toilet facilities are provided in the form of a composting outhouse.

Off leash. We love our pets! And hope you will bring yours along. Docs Crossing is named after our Labrador, Doc. He loves the wading pool here. Please be aware that wildlife is abundant, and the road is not far away, so please keep your pup under control at all times. It is expected that you will clean up after your pet, and dispose of any waste properly

Docs Crossing at Great Brook Camps
We had a great time at Doc’s crossing! The set up is great- has a fire pit, tent platform and picnic table by the brook and a clean and spacious outhouse and flat area for a larger pop-up or camper. We brought our dog who had a blast playing in the water and running around in the grass. I also set up a hammock where I could relax and listen to the bubbling brook. So peaceful! Thank you so much for sharing your space with us, and we hope to be back soon! :)

Steve has done a great job creating a great camping spot on his land. Your privacy is guaranteed and it has everything for a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience. There is a raided platform for a tent or a long grass driveway for your truck and camper. He provides wood, fire pit and an out door toilet. This place was so perfect that after I booked the site for 3 days, I went back online and decided to stay an additional 3 more days. Would highly recommend!!!

Beautiful site with well maintained amenities. Very private! There is some road noise but that was probably because my tent was on my truck in the parking spot. Pretty sure if it was on the tent platform it wouldn't have been noticeable.

Docs Crossing at Great Brook Camps
I would visit and recommend Doc’s Crossing again and again!! My partner, dog, and I stayed here just for one night and in a rain storm but even then it was awesome. The site is right beside a running brook and huge patches of ferns. My dog loves romping around the plants and exploring the creek. We felt super safe with the gate both keeping ppl out and our dog away from the road. The outhouse was the cleanest ever and we greatly enjoyed the goodies left by Steve. Steve was very friendly and offered great hiking recs in the area. This site was a perfect weekend getaway and we will be back soon. Our only thing to note is bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, the traffic feels closer than it is at night.

Great location. Easy to find. Very easy to pull in a move our camper van. The brook and firepit was amazing. I don’t really comment on composting toilets but this one was one of the best we’ve seen! Will definitely come back again.

A really lovely spot… a great platform next to the stream and a really nice latrine. We were there with our 20 ft travel trailer. Absolutely no problem getting it in position. Easy access from the main road, although that means there is some background road noise that the site but canceled by the water sounds. Loved it, no negatives, will come again!

Easy to access site, very peaceful brook running right next to camp. Camp platform, composting outhouse, and picnic table- all neat and new. Very simple, completely private, great communication with owners leading up to visit.
