JenEric Alpaca Ranch
We have a small area in our Alpaca pasture designated for campers. We are a short drive (2miles) to down town Hermiston. It is a grass field that will be mowed for visitors. Our ranch has been here since the 1940's and has decreased in size since its days as a potato farm. The Alpacas are shy but curious. They are not dangerous but do not like dogs and other small animals. R

In the summer we have several farms in the area with fresh produce for sale and Blueberry picking just down the road. You won't want to leave town without picking up a world famous Hermiston Watermelon! Come stay with us "Where Life is Sweet!"

Pleasant location in a pasture with alpacas. Hosts were very friendly. A bit of road noise but not a problem in an RV.

Incredible stay at Jen and Eric’s place. From booking to arrival to our stay, they were welcoming and helpful hosts. They love talking about all the animals - alpacas, goats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits- and we learned so much. Hermiston is a super cute city too. We’ll definitely be coming back.
I have no idea why anybody would stay at a crowded RV park when you could stay at a little alpaca farm. This was wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. The alpacas were adorable, but we really loved two playful silly curious goats that we fell in love with. The site was large and spacious enough for our 24' Airstream trailer. It was a perfect respite as we were passing through. We ate at Veg Out - which has more than vegetables - found it on yelp. Try the cheese rolls - AMAZING. Anyway, we loved this spot and highly recommend!!!

Katy, we are sooo happy that you enjoyed your stay. I hope we will see you again soon. Happy and safe travels!
Super sweet place. Friendly hosts and animals.

Thank you so much! I hope we see you again. Happy travels!
Price was right but noisy roads and the field you stay in is thick with alpaca droppings.

Thank you for the review. I am so sorry that you were disappointed by your stay. The farm experience is not for everyone. I wish you luck on your future travels.
We only spent the night, traveling through. It was nice to have a safe place to park. Very cute alpacas, great easy communication with the host.

Thank you for your review! I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay. I hope we see you again!
We stayed two nights at this location. All 4 of us (two kidos 10 & 5, and 2 adults) had lots of fun camping at spot 6. The ranch has several goats and alpacas (and many chickens), and they are very friendly. We brought apples and carrots to feed them (chopped smaller since we didn't Wana harm the alpacas), and they ate every bit of them. We were the only ones camping which was kinda nice. We had no problem driving our 17 foot jayco into the field gate once I messaged the owners at my arrival (easy to level, solid ground) . Note: (the animals do use the field that is for camping when your not there) (they did show up for a bit this morning randomly but was nice to see them), so watch out for poo (they do it in the same spots..so it wasent bad). Just take note..this is a ranch..lol. plan on leaving your shoes outside the camper/tent. The fun we had far overcome this though! The kids loved feeding/watching the animals!! We parked our jayco right along the fence...Setup our large mat to put our propane fire pit on and chairs (recommended) ..had our generator going...played some Mario cart 8 on the switch..brought a camp Chef griddle to make pancakes..
Bacon...hamburgers...good time! The owners were quick to answer questions, and very receptive to all the animals needs! Not our typical camp out, but the kidos will definitely remember the experience! I would recommend this stay! Be prepared for cute animals, and a memorable experience. Go in with a open mind and you will be rewarde

Thank you Matt! I hope we will see your crew again soon!
Jennifer’s place was perfect, easy to find and close to the highway. We will definitely be staying again!

Thank you Brittany! See you next trip!
Fun farm with lots of animals to visit! We appreciated that Eric met us at the gate with a flashlight when we arrived after dark! Also enjoyed the farm fresh eggs Jen gave us the morning we left. Would caution that there is a lot of road noise, so if that bothers you, maybe stay elsewhere.

Thank You Cindy! I am so glad you enjoyed your stay!
