Basic site but it was well kept and serene surroundings. Nothing to do so more a place to land for the evening . I suggest getting there before dark bc it might be difficult to find plus you'd miss the sunset which is wonderful. You can hear hwy 84 but it's background. The wind through the corn was what we heard most through the night

We stayed at peepler campsite in our 24’ trailer and it worked out great for us. It was quiet. The road noise in the far distance sounded a bit like the ocean so it actually added to the atmosphere. We sat outside in the evenings in a sea of hay, and enjoyed the stars! Thanks for sharing your place Russell!

It really depends on what you're looking for and what you have. We had a car only so not having any running water and no toilet facility was a little tricky. The only negative thought I had was where does everyone go to the bathroom in the same situation; how many people have urinated here and there just like we did? But I loved that you could hear coyotes yipping and watch lightning on the horizon. If you had an RV I assume the situation would be quite different, thus, my first line on dependent on what you have.

Peebler Campsite was a great boondocking spot. The site was peaceful and secluded with beautiful views and sunset. Follow the directions provided and it is easy to access.

The Peebler camp worked perfect for us for a 2 night stay during the Pendleton Whisky Festival. It was pretty much exactly what we expected and worked great overall. Only suggestions would be, maybe 5 minutes with a weed eater to knock down the thorny weeds around the shade shelter and maybe a little fine tuning of the gravel at the entrance/exit. We did have a jack stand on our trailer get bent pretty bad due to the gravel at the entrance being too high. Just future info for others. We would still stay here again.

A peaceful and pretty private camping spot with pleasant countryside views. The grass had come to seed and was a bit sharp for our dogs but we were able to walk them down the gravel road and they very much enjoyed that. It was close to the highway but we could not hear anything and had amazing views of the stars at night. We would definitely recommend the site to those seeking privacy and big sky views. Thank you for the lovely stay!

We were kindly greeted by 3 shy cows who ended up letting us give them a few nose scratches! Sweet! Beautiful view of the farmland and surrounding area. The space was perfect for our van and the location easy to get to off of the freeway. The freeway noise was negligable and not even an issue. The openness offered for a super clear starry night! We would come back when we are passing through the area again.

A beautiful, quiet, safe setting with 360 degree views. I was car camping and had a small tent for extra things. The wind blew the first 2 days and then it was calm. I would definitely camp here again, and recommend to friends looking for the same arrangement/set up. (May 2nd - 5th.)

This is great little pull through site to stay the night on your way threw the area. Easy to get to right off the freeway but far enough you don't hear the traffic. The goats were sweet but the star of the night was just that. The STARS, wow. Awesome night sky. Be sure to grab a burger and some donuts at the C&D in Boardman on your way in or out.

This place is perfect. Previous reviews said there were metal fragments on the ground from old farm fencing but we found none! Our dogs ran around after a long day drive in the car and loved it!! It was windy when we got there but the view was gorgeous and we didn’t mind a bit.

A peaceful space in the middle of a farmer’s field, a bit of a rough road getting there. The shelter is helpful, particularly with strong wind gusts on the open prairie. Would be great if there was as a fire pit. Was nice for our dogs to be off leash but contained
