Grassy area with trees on the bank of the Yakima River. Quiet and peaceful. Small campfires are allowed all year in designated spots. There are mosquitos so be prepared for that! During the summer months, the Yakima River is perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, float tubes, or just swimming. Catfish and bass are the main fish here and fishing is good most of the time.

This gotta be the safest camping spot ever, I love everything about it! Thanks to Mr.Roger and his lovely wife for sharing this beautiful camping spot with beautiful views.

Nice stop on our roadtrip

Definitely lots of bugs, but more knats then squeeters. Beautiful sunset, catfish were having fun on the shore in the morning. Roger and his doggos were great hosts.

First guest! Hidden riverside gem

You might not see many reviews on this property yet because I was the lucky first guest to stay at Roger’s stunning property!!! He was so sweet - him and his puppy welcoming party walked next to our car as we drove down to the site. We stayed here since we were hopping around to local hiking and we didn’t want to stay at an RV park or drive all the way to Walla Walla - we were happily surprised! There was a little cafe/bakery 2 minutes from his place which was convenient the next morning. You can park your car right up where the tent space is. There’s tons of room for tents! Pack a little bug spray for the riverside mosquitos and tall grasses (the price you pay for a great view)! :) Thanks Roger, we had a sweet night
