Nice and quiet. Lovely setting. Directions are a bit confusing though- it would have been helpful to know that we turn left right before the first Deer Creek sign (there isn’t really a road - just drive diagonally across the beautiful front lawn towards the next Deer Creek sign. Then, down the hill towards the creek and final sign. We parked perpendicular to the creek.

What a wonderful place to stay. Not far from the highway but, quiet and beautiful. Did not get a chance to meet the hosts but I am sure they are great as well! Good directions, easy to find. Really appreciate the lovely place to stay. Thank you!

Camping on Kara's land was a very pleasant surprise. We were in the Tri-cities to see our granddaughter play soccer and needed a place not too far from the sports complex to park our teardrop trailer. Brown Barrel turned out to be perfect for us. It is in a suburban area, but the spot, which is right next to a creek, is private and quiet. We slept well to the sound of the flowing water; we brought our own water and camp toilet since there is no restroom nor is there potable water available at the site. There is power, so we were able to plug in the trailer; a real advantage. Nearby are many dining options. We drove a few miles to Badger mountain for a late afternoon hike which was wonderful.
We will return the next time we come to the Tri-cities.

Great place with lots of shade and an amazing little creek flowing right out your door that sounds just like a waterfall, so relaxing! Dogs loved it too they had plenty of space to watch the chickens, ducks and run around! Oh and listening to the frogs at night! I will definitely stay again! It was perfect for why we were in that area!

The location was perfect, not far from the freeway. It was a level site, quiet and private. It was a nice stopping point on my way home. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect spot to stop and stay the night on my travels! The location is merely 10ish min off the main highway, which made it so convenient so stop and sleep for the night in a safe, private area that felt comfortable for my dog and I. Will def be my new go-to halfway stop. Thanks Kara!!!

The property is absolutely beautiful…super green and very quiet and peaceful!! We loved it so much we extended our stay. I did get stung by two hornets so just be prepared to deal with critters but totally worth it!

Great spot!!! It's in the shade and easy to access!! We will stay again when we are in the area, if it's available. Too bad there isn't a 30 amp plug, but we just used our generator to run our AC. We would pay more for that option.

This is a lovely spot! So private, quiet, and shady for those hot tri-city days. The breeze and creek sounds are the perfect addition to this cozy, secret paradise. Perfect for an overnight with our kids and dog.

Favorite stay of 10 day road trip. This is a beautiful spot situated right on a babbling brook. Frogs were chirping. Just the right amount of privacy. Responsive hosts. A real hidden gem in a suburban setting but feels like you are way out in the country once you get set up at the site.

It is a nice, semi private, quiet, spot that is well cared for. It was conveniently located to access events in Kennewick. Felt safe. It is an easy spot to have a dog. We will be back if the occasion calls for it.

This place was a perfect stop for the night on my drive back to Seattle. The area was safe, quiet, and feels secluded, even though it’s in a suburb. Kara was proactive and responsive in her communication and Jason helped me out with finding the spot when I arrived that night. Would recommend!!

Our stay at Deer creek was great! The hosts were helpful and accommodating. We stayed in a 25' travel trailer, access was easy. The place was quiet and we had privacy. We would definitely stay there again.

Full disclosure, I was on my motorcycle and used a tent for camping.
Its in a quiet neighborhood with a babbling creek running right under the campsite. However, I think the rate is to high for what you get. You can stay at a developed state campground for $30.00 that has restrooms, picnic table and fire ring. This place was $45.00 with fees, and It had zero amenities. I would recommend at the least a picnic table. And a lower rate for tent campers.
