Great location. Our spot was quiet and private. Minimal road noise. Gas firepit was so handy as there was a burn ban at the time.

This family-owned gem has everything - beautiful trails, peaceful lakeside spot, and rich history. Easy to find with clear directions from friendly hosts. Kids loved it, and we had epic badminton tournaments at our campsite all weekend! Clean facilities and quiet nature made this a highlight of our summer adventures. Can’t wait to come back!

Tracy and her husband were so incredible hospitable and have such a beautiful property that has been so thoughtfully constructed for camping. We loved our camp spot (trillium) which was secluded for us and our dog. Even with a burn ban we used a fire pit alternative they already had and it worked beautifully. Thanks so much for having us!!

RV #2 Farm Fields Forest Fun!
Malaney Creek Farm was a wonderful place to stay for the weekend. The kind of place that makes you want to call in sick and stay an extra day. The hosts Tracy and Dan were great. Both were helpful and friendly. The RV site we stayed at was a level gravel pad with grass around it, shaded by tall trees in the afternoon. The farm was quiet and we hardly ever saw the other guests. Our dogs loved walking and running the trails with us as well as the large semi-fenced area for them to chase balls in. If you’re thinking about a trip to Spencer lake it doesn’t get much better than staying here.

We had an awesome stay at Malaney Creek Farm! Our site was so spacious with easy access to all the trails. The owners were so friendly and even helped us find a fix to a problem with our RV. The game area and store were nice perks as well. Our daughter loved the horses! They were so friendly and were up for lots of pets. We definitely will come back! Thank you!

Overflow Campsite at the farm
We had a great time camping on the farm it felt like we were camping out in the woods because of how peaceful and quiet it was. The host was super friendly and helpfull as well we would definently camp here again!

This is a really lovely spot and I'm bummed we were only there for one night as a quick stopover. The sites are pretty private and spaced out. Everything is well kept and thoughtful. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Overflow campground during the 4th. The site was spacious, very private, and wonderfully situated in the woods. We completely relaxed. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Thank you so much!

Great, quiet spot. Very hospitable hosts! Beautiful peaceful surroundings, with walking trails through the property. Shared Portable toilet was close by but hidden behind some trees and was clean at check in (as clean as a port a potty can be!) water was provided as well.
I recommend this stay for a semi rustic camping experience for peace and quiet with friendly hosts.

Towering trees provided generous, cool shade that made it easy to rest during the day, and at night, the soft sounds of nature created a perfect lullaby for sleeping. Each campsite was thoughtfully spaced far apart, giving a comforting sense of privacy so you never felt crowded by neighbors. This property was absolutely gorgeous. So much space and so secluded. We had chairs and a fire pit and a picnic table. Our tent area was also covered which was nice! My husband and I took our cats and they had the time of their lives. Will definitely be coming back!

Five stars!! We loved every minute of exploring the trails and visiting the horses. The site was private, and really felt like we were just out in the woods!! All amenities were very clean and Tracy and her husband were so welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

The Creekside campsite was perfect for our family of 3! Our 5-year-old loved walking by the horses and exploring the trails nearby. The campsite is beautiful, secluded but not far from the main entrance, and nice and flat with a covered area where the picnic table is. We also pitched our tent here because rain was in the forecast. The portable toilet was close to the campsite and very clean. Overall we give it a 10/10 and would stay here again!

The Salmonberry site is amazing!
Private, well cared for and a little slice of heaven for the weekend.

This site has become our favorite! The host are amazing, attentive and respectful. Thank Tracy and Dan. It was spacious, quiet, and beautiful! We took our RV and a tent and we still had plenty space for activities plus it is super close to the lake so we were able to do some kayaking! We are coming back for sure!

Cascara was a spacious, peaceful spot for a long weekend getaway! Tracy’s property is beautiful and it was fun having the giant field all to ourselves. The hammocks were also a nice touch! We enjoyed walking the many trails with our dogs and playing lawn games as well. Tracy was also very friendly and communicative and check-in was a breeze. We’d love to come back!

This was our first Hipcamp stay and it did not disappoint! The host met us upon arrival and escorted us to our camping area. The property is beautifully maintained (including the port-a-potty which was spotless) and provided a peaceful place to rest for the night. Would definitely return :)

Enjoyed my stay at cascara! I had the quiet meadow to myself for this late season stay. On arrival i ended up missing the stop for the hosts, who noticed, caught up to me and got me to the right spot :) can’t say enough good about the help getting settled. In the area i was in there are no marked spaces (it’s rustic) but the host was right there to explain my options and to spot me getting in. Would stay again…

My family loved tent camping here! We stayed in the Hemlock site and it was perfect! The host was welcoming and the little camp store was stocked with anything you might need. We had 2 vehicles and 3 tents in our group and had plenty of room to spread out. Very quiet.

Stumbled upon this listing while looking for a place to stay close to family that lives on Harstine Island. It’s a beautiful little spot, just outside of town. It’s quiet and peaceful. Tracy was great with communicating necessary information leading up to our stay and was so helpful upon our arrival. The little store on the property is great, especially when you forget your firewood when leaving town! We loved that they provide propane fire pits when there is a burn ban and even have tanks available to rent!
We will definitely be staying here again in the future and will be recommending it to friends and family!

I highly recommend Malaney Creek Farm. Tracy was friendly and helpful, and she also offered us an alternative spot as it was open. Both Hemlock and the alternative were private and spacious, but we chose the alternative (can't recall the name) as it was a little more to our liking.
The site was clean, with a nearby shared space that had a Honey Bucket, sink, and trash cans.
At night, it was very quiet, but you can faintly hear the occasional driver with loud exhaust somewhere.
Overall, it was a great experience and we would absolutely book this place again.
