This property is in the wash away Zone in North Cove Washington it's actually is iconic and people drive all over to come see these breathtaking views as well as see that history that has fallen into the sea this property is very tranquil and gorgeous as well as very primitive. From time to time, the neighbor dog may visit the sites.  Each listing is a reservation, not location. Host will assign location upon arrival.  Shoal water casino is 3 miles from the campground and you will receive $20 in freeplay or gas voucher across the street. Note: You must ask for the gas voucher if you sign up for a new card at the casino, no purchase required!  Please let me know if you're a part of a group and have made more than one booking.

Quiet, unmatched oceanfront

Very quiet oceanfront spots. Would highly recommend. Jeanette, was very helpful upon check in to make sure we found the site and were happy with our spot. The dogs noted in other reviews were present occasionally but friendly. We towed a 42 ft 5th wheel and had a bit of trouble getting in. We were on the farthest side from the port-o-potty. There is soft, deep sand in a few areas and other areas are packed with gravel and firm. We grabbed some wood from the hardware store to make our exit easier. It is navigable with a strong big rig, but be prepared to scout your path carefully and having some wood is helpful to throw down in the soft spots to prevent your tires from sinking. Overall, excellent time and campground.

Incredible beachfront location, but quite deep sand on the way in. If you get there early, there is hard packed grassy sand to drive over but if you get one of the last spots folks will have parked on the hard pack and it’ll be more of a challenge. Totally doable, just wanted to give a heads up. Overall great spot!

This was a great experience for my wife and I. The views were outstanding, Jaenette was super attentive to each person, and it was very quiet even with other people around. There are spots that are secluded but you need a truck or bigger vehicle to get through the sand so we stayed on a large plot where 5 other small groups camped.

Overall we had a good time, Jaenette was super kind. We did have some run-ins with the local dogs that weren’t ideal, and encountered lots of goat heads at our site. Beach access was great and toilet was well maintained.

I loved the view at our campsite. My kids really enjoyed the beach. Just walking distance to our site. And Jeannette was very nice, she told us the nice places to visit, although we didn’t go to those places it’s really nice to know about. And the porta potty was a plus. Would definitely go there again.

We loved Jaenette's grounds along the beach at North Cove. Exactly as described. Primitive and pristine. Sites are well-spaced apart, right along the beach. We shared the area with two other camp parties and felt completely private. Beautiful beach. Jaenette is a wonderful host. Excellent communication and she really cares that you are comfortable.

Site 3 - North Cove WA Washaway Camping
It definitely was a beachfront spot. Best part was that there was a ton of sea life there. I saw many sea lions, porpoises, and I even saw two whales. If the weather is good, you can't go wrong. There were many fishing boats cruising up and down the beach in front of the campsite and they were catching salmon (I was there at the middle of August). Jaenette is the best! She is so friendly. When she tells you she will meet and greet you at her gift shop don't be concerned that there is an issue. She just wants to make sure you get to the correct spot because there's no real campsite markings and you need here to assess what you're driving and get you situated correctly. She's the real McCoy and she cares.

Ok here's the good-- site is beautiful, all sites have access to the beach, it's gorgeous and sandy you can hear the ocean in your tent. Location is truly unbeatable. The compound is on a road at the beach, so some sites are on the ocean side of the beach and other sites are on the other side of the road. Site 3 is on the other side of the road, and we still had great views. Jaenette the camp host was very friendly. Overall, location was the best part of this place.

This is the first Hipcamp that charged "per adult". There are no dedicated campsites. It's organized each day by the host who you have to call or meet before going in. This is a VERY RUSTIC site. You are lucky if there is a fire pit. No picnic tables. Only 1 port-a-potty for what seemed like 20 camp sites. The location was great. But I won't be going back at the rate they charge vs the lack of amenities no or obvious camp sites.

We loved looking outsleeping over the bluffs and listening to the ocean while we slept. Fun for the 2 of us, but would be fun with a group too. Janette was helpful and hooked us up with the local Shoal Creek Casino secret.

We had a great time tent camping at the beach. Our site was up on the hill, just a short walk down to the beach. We used the fire pit at night and enjoyed falling asleep and waking up to the waves. Our space had enough room for 2 cars, a small tent, fire place, and room for a few chairs and table. Would stay here again.
