Anyone of Color, Queer spectrum, Trans, Disabled, etc. do NOT come here. His wife and he, after we arrived, put up their 5-star original colonies trump flag, and when asked a simple "why" we were kicked out. Much more happened, of course, but this is the SAT version. The flag stayed up, HIPcamp didn't help because Trump and his racist propaganda aren't yet considered a "symbol of hate" by the company. Idk how a fascist and his army are putting up Flags celebrating Jim Crow southern threats is not symbolic of hate; it IS dangerous and leads to an unsafe environment. Just save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. These people have the ranch up for sale and don't give a shit what they do, they are moving asap as he said...his wife doesn’t like it here (gee, a little too lefty for ya?) and wants to move to the south. Ahhhh! Red Flags are what I am flying to ensure YOUR safety.

Hung Facist Trump flag after our arrival and then told hipcamp I yelled at her when evidence shows I messaged and called asking her intentions to which she said she has no idea why a trump flag with the Jim crow 5 stars for original colonies would be an issue. Hipcamp said they do think trump imagery and what they did was apart of discrimination. We feared for our lives. Do not come here, they are selling and scary. They also tell the story they recently fou d their highland cow had "killed herself" miraculously in the middle of their field. As a suicide survivor and no parents because of, this is really really wrong.

Flying M Stables was a fun place to stop with all the horses around. Super quiet, easy to find and set up, and close to Highway 5. Full hook ups and a restroom nearby were wonderful extras!

This was a great place to stop as we made our way back towards Seattle. It was close to I-5, but so quiet and peaceful. We loved seeing the horses and there was a very friendly cat, too! Site is a flat lot with all of the hookups including sewage, electric and water and there are restrooms available as well. Fantastic value for money and would definitely stay here again!

I really enjoyed staying here for 2 weeks! Stratford and family were very sweet and accommodating. The property is beautiful, quiet, spacious and close to town. I enjoyed seeing all of the animals on our daily walks with our dog! We hope to stop in for a few nights next year!

I love staying here. We camp next to two beautiful fir trees. I love that they set up corrals next to our camp for our horses. It’s a really beautiful place very quiet. They also have Highlander cows which are fun to look at.the hosts are exceptionally nice and accommodating. We look forward to our next visit.

Flying M Stables offered exactly what we needed—a quiet, convenient escape just outside Olympia. While the site itself is situated by the stable parking lot, it had full hookups including sewer, which made our stay comfortable and easy. We especially enjoyed waking up to folks unloading their horses for the schooling show happening during our visit. It was a treat to watch a few sessions and take in the peaceful countryside surroundings.
We also loved getting to pet a few friendly barn cats and see a variety of other farm animals around the property. Stratford was incredibly helpful and flexible with all our requests—cannot say enough good things about this place. A great spot for a low-key, nature-focused getaway.

Decent landing spot for an urban adventure in Olympia. The area for the trailers was pretty muddy, but lots of hard rain, so not much you can do about that. Easy to get in and out of. Kids enjoyed that there was a dog show happening that weekend on the grounds.

Full hook-ups, flat surface, bathroom, barn cats, horses, cows, goats, and quiet. What more could you ask for? Oh, and 15" minutes south of downtown Olympia. Perfect! Will stay here again.

The site is on the parking lot of the stables, so there's not much privacy. You can walk around and look at the horses but not ride. There's a full hookup and a flush toilet inside the stables.

Me and the wife stopped through on our way to Portland for the night, very quiet and peaceful. Everything is as it was presented to be, was a nice morning walk around the stables to pet the horses. Would recommend!

This is an unusual place to "camp". To be frank, it's a parking lot with full hookups.
However, it's unique because they board lots of beautiful horses in their pasture. Cowgirls were coming and going all day and it was fun to watch the activity. It was never loud or invasive.
The surrounding area is lovely and only a 7 minute drive from Millersylvania State Park and about 20 minutes from Olympia.
Bert, the host, was welcoming and helped us with an electrical challenge.
I recommend this Hipcamp location and the hosts.

We enjoyed our time at Flying M. It was very peaceful and lovely property. We enjoyed walking around and seeing the beautiful horses. We did not meet Strattford but his mother-in-law took good care of us and was very helpful and accommodating. Full hook ups were great.

Such a peaceful spot to stay! We were just passing through so didn’t spend a ton of time there but what time we did spend was so lovely! The horses are so friendly and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed feeding them all the grass she could find. Would definitely stay here again for hopefully a little longer next time to see if we could get our hands a little dirty with some farm chores!

I like that this site had full hookups and internet. It felt safe. Sometime there was a lot of horse, truck and trailer activity for the equine side of the property which I was right next to. The bathroom is in the barn and it was dirty. It could use some care and so could the playground. It is old and weathered.

Friendly, good communication, easy in and out. We had a 40 foot truck/toy hauler combo. Hookups are there but we didn’t use. Washroom inside the barn. Beautiful, quiet property and beautiful horses on site you can walk around to look at. Would recommend for a quick overnight stop if camping all booked up in area! Thanks!

This place was amazing! First thing I would say, full hook ups! (Electricity, Water and Sewer). The places was very peaceful, amazing views of the mountain while walking around the property and of course, lots of horses! This is a place that I already am planning on brining my family back to.

Lovely spot to camp just off the I-5! We had an entire field to ourselves with plenty of flat spots to pitch our tent for the night. Super cute cows on the property too! Would stay here again.
