Spot #7 (RV/Tent/Rooftop)
Upon arrival I was a little disappointed in the sites. They are pretty close together, fortunately there was only one other spot taken. We were on #7 and getting to the river is possible. The river is perfect, the temperature was relaxing not to cold and the fish were plentiful. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

Another great stay on the river!
Another great stay on the river! Met some cool fellow campers, got some canoeing and fishing in, and made some great meals in front of amazing views! Hosts are so awesome!

Very pretty surroundings
Very pretty location and the hosts made a point to visit and welcome us. The directions there were a little tricky, but we found it.

Spot #6 (Tent/Rooftop/Van)
We had an amazing 4th of July weekend at Waterdog Campground! Sherman and Caroline checked on us as we were setting up camp and made sure all was well. Site 6 was amazing and had a wonderful view of the river, privacy near the fire pit and easy river access. There was ripe blackberries everywhere near us as well. We really enjoyed this spot, the sunsets, the stars and the property. Also a conscience store 9 mins down the road incase you need ice, salsa or cell phone service for a few mins! We will be back! Thank you guys!

Spot #6 (Tent/Rooftop/Van)
I camped here for 3 days…This place was perfect! Beautiful views and the river is essential for summertime! I would def recommend to anyone looking to camp out. Farm fresh eggs and sourdough bread were an awesome bonus to staying at this spot :)

Spot #9 (Tent/Rooftop/Van)
Riverfront Camping
This remote riverside campsite (#9) offers a one of a kind experience. Imagine, sitting around a campfire, relaxing in your chair and listening to nothing more than the sounds of nature and the mesmerizing flow of the river as your background music 24/7. One of the best features of this particular campground is that the river provides not only beautiful scenery, but more importantly, free activities to keep the entire family, busy and entertained. No need to get in the car and go somewhere else. With water depths of 1 foot to 4 feet, we were able to relax without worry in small swimming holes, as well as enjoy fishing, wading in the water, skipping rocks, and setting up some low profile beach chairs to keep cool while working on our tan . We actually tied our tubes up and just stayed in one spot but tubing can be booked with Zaloo’s just down the road. One of our favorite pastimes, while waiting for our resident campfire chef to finish up one of our delicious smoky campfire meals, was waving and chatting it up with tubers, kayakers, and folks in canoes floating down the river. If you are able to wake up early in the morning, you will likely catch a glimpse of a deer or other small wildlife emerging from the lifting fog. Conversely, at night, the sky seems to pull back the curtains to show off thousands of stars. Nature puts on the grandest show here at Waterdog Campground ⛺️. River shoes are a must! Nice shade tree at #9. Steep bank. No stores or gas close by.
