Hello! We are located on a 5.5 acre farm 15 miles west of Asheville. After 15 years in the medical field I decided to walk out on faith and buy the farm. After working with brain surgeons and brain development researchers I had a medical scare that had me researching alternatives. I had already begun my journey inward and going down the more holistic path. I was able to address it holistically and naturally with a positive result a year and a half later. For me personally, the more I chose to address the root cause with a myriad of tools the more I was finding more healing and peace in my life. My vision for the farm is to create a safe space for others where all fee welcome. We host wellness retreats, weddings, ceremonies, birthdays and gatherings. We are working on sourcing and finding modalities and products to share that are purity and results focused. We are the first family in 5 generations to live on this land outside of the original family. The land was once a tobacco farm, cattle farm and golf course before the previous owner created his masterpiece on the land. We have pumps and access to water all around the property by the pastures. We have three areas for hipcampers and 2 aribnbs on the property. We have a working bathroom in the barn for our hipcampers. We are on septic so please only put toilet paper in the toilet. We are not very close to neighbors which makes the views incredible with a pretty peaceful vibe. We live on the property, so we are always available for questions while you are our guests. We have a misfit crew on the farm to meet! Most of our animals were rescues and love meeting new people! We have Nick the Cow with his side kick Oreo the goat, two gal donkeys named Sheena and Jolene. They were my first rescues. Sheena has the darker nose and Jolene has the lighter nose. rescue brother piggies named Sgt. Peppa and Chuck Berry. Sarge has a bit of a hearing problem, but if he sees you he will want to say hello! They like their noses touched and getting a pet! Our alpaca family enjoy protecting the goats, especially the little ones. Flash is the papa and he is the darker color. His son is also his coloring named Smokey or little boy. The mamas are Suprise and Supernova, their daughters are Pumpkin, Joy Sunshine and Trigger. The two goats without horns are males, the white one is Little John and the brown with an O on his side is Otto. They came with Darla the largest female. Abigail Surprise is pretty vocal and loves being loved on. We bottle fed her and I would baby wear her around town when I was bottle feeding. She is special to our hearts. We also have chickens and a Peacock named Pretty boy. We are currently looking for a lady friend for him. We don't want to forget Kendall our black rescue cat! She is an indoor/outdoor cat that will lie about not being fed enough or having enough freedom. We look forward to sharing the space with you! Amazing Camping on a Beautiful Farm
What an amazing place to camp! We stayed in site #3 and slept in my Jeep (set up with a mattress). We got in late but the directions and map on Hip Camp were super helpful so even in the dark it was easy to find everything and get set up quickly. The bathroom was clean (and warm) and a short walk away from the camp site. We didn't end up using the fire pit but it looked great. There were also several chairs in the covered area that could be utilized. Once we woke up in the morning, we made coffee and took a short stroll around the farm. The entire area is gorgeous. There are so many animals (goats, alpacas, pigs, peacocks, chickens, cows, etc). I can't recommend staying here enough.

Peaceful Night
I loved tent camping at Arise Farms! The spot was secluded with good proximity to a clean restroom. We had a lovely view of the mountains and enjoyed seeing the farm animals! They even provided us some firewood! Highly recommend.

Friendly Host, Beautiful Property
We loved spending the night at Arise Farm! The property is absolutely gorgeous and extremely peaceful. Nicole is so friendly and helped us get situated upon arrival. We reviewed the property map and decided to stay on site 1 due to its privacy and proximity to the rest of the property. I would highly recommend this site for animal lovers and amazing sunset views. We will definitely be back!

Very last minute booking but host was more than happy to accommodate us. Animals were very social. We would have loved to have more time there and meet the host (based on other reviews) but, we were on a tight schedule.

Wonderful experience!
I took my son to this beautiful farm for his first camping experience at site 3. It couldn't have been more perfect! Secluded camping spot with so many extras we didn't expect. We camped next to the barn, which offered a half bath, small fridge, electricity, plenty of dry firewood, and shelter in case of bad weather. We loved being so close the animals! From the moment we came thru the gate, it was like a deep exhale. We were met at our car right away by the owner, Nicole, who was the kindest, and most gracious host ever! She gave us a tour of the property, and was extremely responsive when we had questions or needed anything during our 4 night stay. We can't wait to visit again, and we're already planning our next trip. If you're considering a trip to Arise Farm, GO! You will not be disappointed!

Lovely with room for improvements
The host is very kind, there are lovely views and our 7 year old loved being next to the goat, cow and pigs. There is also some room for improvements: though it goes to a good cause, $60/night is really steep on this site, and not really deserved; there needs to a sign to turn onto her dirt road (look for the road sign itself), there needs to be firewood as promised (our cooking depended on it), and just more signage or support like a garbage area. Know you are staying on a farm not in the woods.

Good vibes
Easy to get to, good cell reception, there was a toilet and fridge, great weather, felt very safe, good vibes, cute animals, beautiful stars. Great place to be.

Camping in the foggy hills
The farm is very cute and the host is very sweet! They are in the process of trying to make space for helping foster kids and others with their land and animals. We stayed right next to a horse arena and faced their animals that looked so happy and clean! I would highly recommend this place :)

Happy Camper
This beautiful property is like no other. The sense of calm and peace here is surreal, and being around the animals is so soothing. Nicole is so sweet, welcoming and down to earth. I cannot recommend her property enough and already plan to visit again next month :)

There were some definitely up sides and down sides to my stay here. Ups: spacious site, beautiful mountain and sunrise views, clean bathroom, cute animals. Downs: way less private than I anticipated (particularly during the day), being pulled in to a low key traumatic situation with one of the animals (by someone I think works there? They never introduced themselves so I’m honestly not sure), and never being greeted or shown around though that is listed in the description (we eventually learned the host was out of state); after a while we finally just showed ourselves around, found the bathroom, etc. I feel like this is a great place a lot of people would love, I just wish the listing had been a little bit more transparent about some of the details.

I had such a delightful peaceful stay at Arise Farm. The directions were clear and it was easy to find. Nicole was so gracious and warm. I car camped with my dog at Site 2 and it was perfect! Having a bathroom nearby was so nice. We enjoyed meeting all the animals and getting their background stories from Nicole. My stay was brief but I intend to return! Highly recommend!

Exactly what we were hoping!
What a lovely place to set up our camp! I decided for my birthday I wanted cow kisses and s'mores on a campfire and I was not disappointed! The property was lovely and inviting, tucked in a cute town that was perfectly located to tackle a few hikes and scenic drives during the day. We stayed in spot one (1) to be closest to the animals. Might be obvious, but the area was coooold end of November! So plan accordingly. Overall very happy with the experience

Stay here. Don’t miss out!!!
Everyone needs to stay on this property and experience the wonders of Gaia Arise Farms. The views are 10/10. The seclusion is 10/10. The facilities are 10/10. We stayed at campsite 3 behind the barn and it was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway from the city. The bathroom was clean and perfect for freshening up. Waynesville is a super cute town 15 min from the farm with great restaurants and downtown shops. We will definitely be coming back to visit for longer next time! Can’t wait to see growth to come! Nice stay
Cute simple small farm with lots of animals to see. We stayed on the back side of the green and white barn. Great sunset views and private from the other sites. There was extra wood to use for our fire ( 26 degree nite ).

Can’t wait to come back!
Gaia Farms was an incredible place to stay! We absolutely loved visiting the animals, and you simply cannot beat the view. Nicole was extremely helpful and responsive. The common area with the restroom was well maintained and clean, and the hosts even provided a table, charcoal grill and trash bin at the camp site. There were other people on the property, but the sites are far enough apart to have privacy. The location is relatively close to the Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking. We’re so grateful for Nicole opening her space up for us to enjoy!

What a beautiful, serene spot. Such a nice place to set up camp. We were at spot 3 and it was so private, with the option to set up under the barn in case of bad weather.

Great peaceful camp site!
Staying at the farm was absolutely amazing! Plus little Hanna was so nice to showed us around some animals, we feed the Lamas and say hi to Nicholas (the bull) we are lookin forward to come back again!

Had a wonderful time at Gaia Arise Farm. Nicole and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Campsite was clean, felt safe, private, and for some reason smelled really good! Highly recommend.
