Sweet spot on converted school bus among beautiful towering trees! We were very comfortable on the firm futon mattress. Loved hanging out with Kelly’s various animal friends that came to visit in the morning, then heading out to hike & swim in gorgeous yuba river.
Come ready to pee in the woods (poo in well taken care of composting toilets) and bring bug spray for the evening!

Absolutely beautiful location and property. Kelly was very communicative which I appreciated. I stayed in the White Willow bus. It was rustic and cute although having the window screens properly attached would have helped with the mosquitos which are plentiful. I knew that going in but wasn’t prepared for the screen issue, mosquitoes love me lol. There was also an issue with the check in/out time which ended up working out with but wasn’t something I initially planned for. The books with all the local sites and adventures were super helpful and I got some great info from Kelly herself. The wifi extender didn’t work which was okay since I wasn’t out there to be on the internet but to figure out my route and maps I just had to be by the main house to get a signal. Molly was absolutely adorable and I loved all the other surprise animal critters! Kelly has put a lot of love into this land, really enjoyed seeing it all. I would stay here again, but would be better prepared on my end.

kelly’s so nice and the environment around it was so nice as well, she wasn’t strict at all it was so peaceful, the outdoor kitchen was very helpful and the pets around were all so loving and protective i would definitely recommend her💕

Great Experience!
Kelly our host was so nice and recommended some great spots to explore! Great location if you want to just relax or venture out. Close to Bridgeport, the Yuba River, Malakoff Diggins State Park and Nevada City. If historical places, crystal shops and a chill hippie vibe is your thing..then this is your place!

Would definitely recommend it!
My family and I loved the bus, and everything was perfect! Kelly was super friendly; she's a great host. The bus has a stove, cooking utensils, a sink, dishware, silverware, seasonings, a dresser, a mattress, a couple of chairs, lights, and a guitar. There's also a bed with a bug net outside the bus, table and log chairs outside the bus. It was very comfortable and relaxing for us. The bus was private and secluded from the other sites. There's also a dresser. Drinking water was provided, very fresh. And there is a shower right outside the bus. There is a little play area for children where they can build things, and a hammock. My children enjoyed it. We loved the dogs too; they were super friendly. The bathroom was so clean, and I loved the design and art that was put into it. The area was so peaceful, and we could just enjoy nature. Overall, we had a great experience.
