Welcome to our 35-acre sustainable farm located in the heart of Red Oak a small town in Nash County North Carolina. We are conveniently located just about 5 miles from the I-64 and I-95 interchange in Rocky Mount. We are also just under one hour from Raleigh and about 30 minutes from Medoc Mountain State Park. We have horses, sheep, chickens, rabbits, cats, and dogs here as well as a small orchard and some gardens. There are 20 wooded acres with a trail through them and a pond to fish in right beside the campsite. Dogs are welcome but they must be kept on leash unless we give permission to use one of our empty pastures for exercise. Bring your cowboy boots and sign up for an introductory horseback riding lesson! Each site has a gravel pad, picnic table, and fire ring. Port-a-potty, sink/hose water, and electrical receptacles are available on-site as well. Please understand that this is a working farm with free-range chickens, pets, and livestock that sometimes make noise. We are also located off a well-traveled country road so you may hear car/road noise.Pitch your tent at our campsite down by the pond, with views of the farm. The site has its own 10x20 pad, picnic table, and fire ring. You will be about 100 yards from the parking area. Parking is at the entrance next to the port-a-potty. The land is flat and grassy but can be wet/muddy after a good rain. There are electrical outlets, a port-a-potty, and a sink/hose for water all within a short walk from the campsite. Feel free to explore the woods or drop a line in the pond! For an additional fee, a western horseback riding experience can be added to your stay if requested in advance.

Great level spot to camp. The little pond was peaceful. Fire pit, electrical and porta john were helpful to have. We really enjoyed the farm animals.

Great location to use as headquarters for exploring the local area, easy to get on the road and head in any direction. Their little pond is filled with bluegill, great way to wind down for the day by breaking out the light tackle. P
