Tips for Snagging a Campsite Reservation
- White Lake State Park can get very busy on summer weekends. Campsite reservations are strongly recommended and can be reserved up to eleven months in advance online or over the phone.
- A handful of sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive early in the day to find a spot or call ahead for availability.
- Not all sites are large enough for RVs or trailers. Be sure to check campsite size before booking a site.
When to Go
The White Lake State Park Campground is open from Memorial Day weekend through the second Monday of October. The park gets very busy on weekends in summer so visit during the week if you can. Day use visitors also need to book a beach reservation since parking at White Lake Beach is limited. Beach reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance and a few first-come, first-served spots available.
Know Before You Go
- Campsites include fire rings, picnic tables, and access to drinking water, coin-operated showers, and a dump station. No hookups are available.
- The park has a camp store where you can buy ice, firewood, and other camping essentials. Canoe rentals are also available at the lake.
- Pets are not permitted anywhere in White Lake State Park.
- The city of North Conway is 20 miles north and has grocery stores, restaurants, and many other visitor services.
