We have Bobcats and a resident Gray Fox family with daily sightings in our meadow, rumored to once be the oldest vineyard in Topanga. Owls grace the night with their call, and Red Tail Hawks ply the morning sky, but silence is our calling card considering the chaos just over the hill!

We are a 5 acre property and home surrounded by tall redwood and oak trees. Very green and lots of shade. These are the amenities/facilities you will have free access to: Pool, Pool chairs and umbrellas, Deck area with sunset view, Trampolines, and hammocks. There is not cooking allowed by or at any of the common areas, due to flies and critters. Cooking and eating is only allowed by your sites and not in any common areas: Hammocks, Trampolines, Pool Area, tables, sink, and deck please follow this rule because we want to prevent our shared areas to be fly and bug infested. We are still working on ridding the flies and cleaning. (please try to bring prepackaged food or something easy. If anything you can drive 10 minutes to nearby food and grocery). In the past we let people cook and eat around the pool but now our whole property is fly infested and I find scattered leftovers on the ground. Thanks for understanding. THERE IS A 1-2 MINUTE HIKE TO THE CAMPSITES 1-5! Poolside campsites are closer to the parking and are bigger. CHECK OUT OUR NEW LODGING: This property is my home that I live in with my 2 kids. It is a rustic and homey vibe, definitely not a hotel. We want you to come knowing what to expect. Our property offers a pool, and trampolines for the kids. We have a deck patio area that overlooks an amazing view of the redwood forest. Most of our guests are those that come from foreign countries and they all LOVE the property. I love leaving a great impression of our area. CAMPGROUND GUIDELINES Pack out your trash. Rinse feet before using the pool. No pool toys or floaties. Always supervise kids. Don’t sit on chair edges or pool cover box. Use stumps or your own table for cooking (not ours). Keep the area clean—no food scraps on the ground. No dogs in the pool area; leashes and cleanup required. No eating in rooms or cabin. Check out on the deck. No smoking (vapes only, away from common areas). In other words, it is very quiet here except during the occasional low pass. We are very eager for pilots to fly in and camp out! The beautiful sunsets and stargazing night skies are a real treat for anyone that comes to visit. Lots of deer, birds, and other wildlife can be seen out and about. Bring your telescope and binoculars to view all the property has to offer!     Each site is in a wooded, shaded area with a flat area on the ground to place a single large tent. Each site has its own fire ring and a small wooden table. There is wood on the ground you may use for firewood, and ample twigs etc on the ground for kindling (do not cut any trees or branches off trees). There is a covered firewood shed with dry firewood as well. There are maintained trails with river access for kayaks. There is a porta potty near the campsites with a handwashing station, that is open year round. There is a single bathroom with flush toilet and sink with running water that is a short walk away (open May-Oct depending on weather) There is an outdoor on-demand hot-water shower at bathroom, with a water hose available as well. On-demand hot water heaters provide hotter water at a low water pressure, and cooler water at full blast. Campsites are a short walk (100-200 feet) away from parking area (you cannot drive directly to or park at your campsite). Foster Park is a short bike ride away where you will find greenway trails that run throughout Fort Wayne (ride your bike to downtown!!) Our property backs up to the St Mary's River, bring you kayaks and fishing poles! Shower hours are 8 am- to 8 pm. The shower has hot and cold running water . You can drive to the shower if you need to. - RESPONSE TIME - This is a working herb farm/ sanctuary and we so do not always have our phones on us. A converted antique hay trailer turned tiny house with an 8' ceiling loft with 3-way views of the forest and river, deck, and private "magic spot" on the Cascade River. The Lil Bit O Heaven Campground is the perfect base camp for your summer adventure! Firewood is available onsite most of the summer. Fresh, clean drinking water, permanent bathrooms and a private shower are available for all campers. An outdoor (completely private) shower is available for those who book the tiny house.     Each site is in a wooded, shaded area with a flat area on the ground to place a single large tent. Each site has its own fire ring and a small wooden table. There is wood on the ground you may use for firewood, and ample twigs etc on the ground for kindling (do not cut any trees or branches off trees). There is a covered firewood shed with dry firewood as well. There are maintained trails with river access for kayaks. There is a porta potty near the campsites with a handwashing station, that is open year round. There is a single bathroom with flush toilet and sink with running water that is a short walk away (open May-Oct depending on weather) There is an outdoor on-demand hot-water shower at bathroom, with a water hose available as well. The camping experience we offer is about unplugging from the modern world , getting back to basics, slowing down and re-connecting with the land. Simply put, this is CAMPING .... not glamping. (Our Cosmic Cottage is also rustic, despite the amenities that come with it). - CAMPSITES and TREEHOUSE - No electricity or wifi on the land. Campsites and TREEHOUSE are nestled in the woods. So although your vehicle will be parked within 50 ft or so from site, you cannot pull directly up to the site and get any closer because of the trees. - SHOWER and PORTA POTTY - roughly a 5 minute or less walk from sites to shower and / or porta potty. Shower hours are 8 am- to 8 pm. The shower has hot and cold running water . You can drive to the shower if you need to. - RESPONSE TIME - This is a working herb farm/ sanctuary and we so do not always have our phones on us. We will make every effort to respond to you within a few hours.     We stayed at the Tiny house- my 7 yr old grandson and myself. Easy access to town (though we drove each time) and very workable to stay, grill over the fire, play darts. So nice to have plenty of firewood provided! Unlike some other reviewer, we heard NOTHING from the street, nor too close to other campers (though it was not full). Even the lighted pathway to drop toilet/ outhouse was clean and efficient. Lots of birds to listen to in the mornings and evenings. Sweet spot.

The views were as advertised, the home was impeccably maintained, the directions were clear, and the hospitality was superb. We stayed here at "Little Tiny" for one night on a Pacific Northwest road trip, and it was just as stunning as tent camping on the Pacific Ocean at Second Beach in Olympic National Park. Would recommend to anyone!

    The family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Angela’s land! We stayed in Casa Avecita which was well kept and fully accommodating. There are some nice small town places to eat in the area such as “out of the way cafe” which add to the stay. There are kayaks and tubes available as well as all safety gear for rent which they make easily accessible. I wish I could leave ten stars!!! Thanks again y’all!

    Buena Vista Lavender Farm is a beautiful place run by a caring and welcoming family. Our family of 4 stayed in "Big Tiny," an expertly appointed tiny home that was comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated the little extras in the kitchen (microwave popcorn, oatmeal, tea, coffee), and the things that made it feel like home (books, blankets, games). Note that one of the beds is accessed by a ladder and could be difficult for less agile guests, though I did appreciate the safety railing across that sleeping loft. Our favorite part of the stay was watching the sun set over the lavender fields, then going over to the barn to meet and pet all the farm animals. Connie and her family are gracious hosts and told us all about their resident chickens, goats, sheep, alpacas, donkey, mini horse, kittens, and dogs. Of all the places we stayed on our west coast road trip, this stay was voted #1 by my two daughters (ages 9 and 13).

    Me and my friends booked this place and it was amazing! It was our first time camping outdoor and didn’t know what to expect but this was everything we needed. Kerry was very accommodating! He provided us with fishing and canoeing places nearby. We went to one of the place which was only 11 minutes away. The canoeing was so much fun. I would totally recommend this place if you’re someone looking for a fun getaway with friends or family.

    The owner, Kerry, met us and showed us to our site. It was awesome. He gave us a quick tour of the property so we would be able to find our way around. Kerry pointed out some key features toilet/shower, walking trails, property lines, etc. It was a good stay and I didn’t have any problems or issues. The owners dog wandered over to say hi which was awesome. I will stay here again.

    Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Happy Hollow! The woodland is beautiful, the campsite was incredibly relaxing, and Kerry was an incredible, attentive host who helped guide us to our lot even at around 11PM. The site was deep enough in the forest to be wonderfully quiet, while also being not too bad from groceries/general stores in the nearby town. I will say, my partner was scared half to death during early morning when he heard an animal walking around - it turned out to be a very sweet dog named Jersey, who was so very excited to both give and receive snuggles. Definitely would recommend this spot!

    The Guinea farm is 18 acres of feild and forest on the rural middle pennensula. Only 1 mile from 2 separate secluded beaches and a boat launch. There is verly little traffic or light polution here, nature is at your fingertips. Come visit the farm and experience agrotourism at it's finest. Pick your own veggies in the community garden and meet the Guinea fowl! Enjoy the windernes and learn about the local ecosystem here on the middle pennensula. There are 3 sites spaced out across the 18 acres set apart for privacy. Wisteria is a primative site closer to the entrance gate. Trilogy is a suspended tree tent in the pines 700' beyond that and seperated by dense forest. Stargazer Tiny cabin is an offgrid rustic camping cabin on the back side of the property. Each site is surronded by several acres of forest and close to the edge of a large feild. There are romaing guinea fowl that may come make a very loud appearance as they canvas the property eating bugs. Deer, Turkeys, Bald Eagles, foxes, and other wildlife are common guests also. Mid-summer is what I call frog season, Tree frogs are abundant and provide a wonderful soundtrack. There are free to use bicycles, an axe throwing board, and cornhole boards available. 4 miles from shopping and dining in Mathews Virginia, 15 miles to Gwynn Island. Gwynn's Island is an island located in the Chesapeake Bay off of Virginia's Middle Peninsula. The island is located in the northeast part of Mathews County, south of the mouth of the Piankatank River. It is connected to the rest of the county by a swing bridge over Milford Haven.
