Weekend Trip to Umpqua's Last Resort

I absolutely loved staying here in my deluxe cabin! It was the perfect personal retreat I needed, the cabin was super clean and cozy, nice fluffy bath towels and the Wolfgang Puck coffee pods were a treat! The park was quiet and at night I could hear the river from my cabin, there is a nice trail down to the river and I was able to spend time by the river in the evening. The location is so close to many waterfalls! Toby and Dustin are super nice hosts! The shared restrooms were clean and the showers hot! I loved the small trails to wander on next to the park. I cant wait to return as this will be my place to stay this coming year, thank you for providing such a nice place to have a get away from the world! My only request would be to allow for a late check out if needed but I ended up leaving early to see more waterfalls!

Weekend Trip to Bay Point Landing

Aesthetic and well positioned glamping in Coos Bay! The amenities were great - we especially enjoyed the public patio areas and thought the architecture was beautiful - this would be a really cool spot for a smaller wedding reception or event!!! My only gripe was the blinds on the windows - we had to open the windows to cool down the space but it was pretty windy most of the time and would cause the blinds to slam against the windows constantly, which was too loud to ignore. Some more landscaping between the cabins would be great but I can see that trees are planted and it will just take a bit of time. Really enjoyed having a fire in our fire pit and watching the sun set from our porch. Bed was very comfortable, great water pressure, cute interiors - overall, amazing place!

Rustic glamping at its best! A bit off the beaten path but interestingly tucked into a small town, the bunkhouse is thoughtfully stocked with essentials. We loved getting the camping vibe (no indoor plumbing) but not having to haul all the extra gear! Cowboy bunkhouse 2 has enough sleeping room for 3 average sized people- thankfully our kids are small enough to both fit on the sofa bed. Wonderful stay at Kristie’s!

Lots for kids to do at the campground, the cabin was very quiet. We had a wonderful time. Clean. There is a small store that has everything you left at home. Laundry room with microwave and toaster, large industrial dishwashing area. Would recommend and would visit again.

We had a great time at Sunny Valley campground. The cabin we stayed was comfortable and spacious. The swing on the porch is a huge plus. We were able to enjoy the pool, the playground and kids loved the jumper. Staff is super nice and they make sure you are having a good stay. We would come back for sure!

I had one of the cabins, and it was lovely. It was shaded, and came with a tiny refrigerator, and a fan, which are both luxuries when you’re camping! And on the day I got there, Brandon was cooking ribs to practice for their rib cook off next weekend (and they were excellent!). The restrooms were very clean and well-maintained, as are the grounds. The property is quiet and comfortable. I will definitely recommend to friends and will hopefully be back again.

We loved staying in the cowboy cabin! It was perfect for our little family for the weekend. The bed is very comfortable with plenty of bedding, the ac was a great feature, and our kids appreciated being able to watch tv after a long day! Kristine had it stocked with goodies and coffee which we very much appreciated. 10/10 recommend if you are staying in the area!

Super cozy spot! Loved the stargazing! Our family of four (including dog) were very comfortable in the cabin. It was clean and quiet in a peaceful setting off the beaten path.

2 nights at Umpqua's Last Resort

A cute cabin in an equally lovely place! The host onsite was so friendly and gave great details of places to see and how to navigate the resort grounds. Super clean and well kept in both the cabin and the shared restroom & shower facilities. Showers got hot quickly, and the towels provided were a great touch! I really appreciated how much sustainability is a focus at this resort; for example, they provide new fluffy towels for using after showers and any face care, while older unfluffy towels (that were washed prior to our use) were available for anything else. There was a fire pit and grill out in front of our cabin, and a picnic table just nearby for easy access to freshly grilled meals. Inside the cabin was a Daikin unit that helped keep us cool from the summer heat, which was so helpful after our long and intense hikes at Crater Lake. For those of us with mobility challenges, the swimming hole nearby is slightly tricky to access toward the end of the trail — but if you can make it, know that it is adorable, secluded, and refreshing! Radio available at the front office if staff are not present to help at night or very early in the morning; we got in touch with someone quickly early in the morning of check-out day. Definitely coming back in the future!

The lil cedar was a perfect getaway. Had everything you would need for a time in the woods without all the hassle of tent camping. The space was so beautiful and cozy, would certainly come back!

We loved our stay here! We made a quick pit stop and wanted to stay in a cabin. This was perfect for us. Our puppy loved being outside and we even took him to get dinner in town. Would definitely recommend to anyone! The host is so sweet! You’ll love staying here ❤️
